Bharti - Retail Easy Day — CHEATING..OVER/WRONG BILLING | |||
I did shopping from easy day Abohar today vide their ref no.[protected] at 09:33:56 hrs While I asked rate for one product 'BR CH SLICE BAR CODE [protected]' which was a product of Britannia I was told it for Rs 260/- I was shocked to see because on the pack it was Rs. 245/- MRP. While I called The Manager, somebody came and got it billed for Rs. 242.55 Similarly one product ' CYCLE 3 IN 1 BAR CODE [protected]' A PACK OF AGARBATTI was billed for Rs. 49.50, while at the counter where it was placed tag for Rs. 44.50 was there On showing the tag to the person posing himself to be Manager got the price changed to Rs. 44.50 after making correction in my bill. After reaching home when I started cross checking the bill with the Items I purchased I was again shocked that one more product 'GV BHUJIA BAR CODE[protected]' was billed to me for Rs. 67.00 while MRP was Rs. 63.00 I tried to contact the store Manager over phone and dialed the number given on the invoice of Easy day for 11 number of times, but no body attended the call. Ultimately I had to go to the store again to show the bills and then some other person met me who posed himself to be the Manager of the store. After great discussion my product which was billed for Rs. 67/- while MRP was Rs. 63/- was got back and a refund was made to me. This is a matter of great concern that if the products which are owned by the Easy Day itsel[censored]nder the brand name 'Great Value' are also being sold at a price higher then the MRP printed on them 'GV BHUJIA BAR CODE[protected]' is product owned by the Easy Day, what to talk of the other products. Example is mentioned above Britania product with MRP 245/- being sold for Rs. 260/- This is great LOOT and the easy day claims to be the cheapest as per board displayed outside the store. While trying to make complaint The Manager refused to give e-mail. ID or contact number of the Head Office, while it is mandatory to get the same displayed in the store at the prominent place In other easy day stores in other cities home delivery is given free and it is a part of services offered by the Easy Day stores as a principal but in Abohar this service is also not being provided. Through this mail I request you to kindly take appropriate action to save the consumer's rights and save them from being over billing and or cheating. Thanks and regards R.K.
