I have relocated recently from Hyderabad to vijayawada in the monthe of July, 2010. I have contacted the customer care to do the re insatllation. The service executive came and told the dish will not work as it is unable to detect the signals..How I wonder because the same dish was working well when I was in Hyderabad. He asked me to give Rs.800 so that he can provide another dish. I negotiated to Rs.600 and he fixed the dish. This is the first incident.
Again when I shifted locally in Vijayawada on 6th Oct, 2010, I contacted customer care to re install. This time the service technician who came to reinstall without installing completely told the STB was not working properly and he told to come again the next day and disappeared. As he left I received an sms saying saying my relocation was done successfully and even there was a deduction of rs.350 from my bigtv account. When I contacted the service executive he told that STB's were not available with them. From then onwards I was frequently calling both the service executive and bigtv cust.care but of no use. Atlast they told me that I will be charged Rs.500 for the replacement of STB. I curse myself for taking this bigtv which has landed me into great inconvenience.
