i have owned a blackberry curve8520 and i forgot the date of sale and also i lost the total package of handset while we are shifting home.few days ago i found that my device displays app error 523 for this solution i meet your service center in vizag but they said they require bill copy to do the service under warranty but i cant provide them the bill copy due to i lost it. is it mandatory ? to provide the bill copy why cant your service people check in online whether it is in warranty or not. although i am using Nokia handset and went to the service station they never asked me to provide the bill copy they use to check in online for warranty details.
