Dear Concern,
On date-13-1-11, I handed over my phone black berry-8520, EMI no.-[protected], work order no.-3453 to city court redington office due to certain issues in phone ( Track pad and video hang and the lense of camera was missing), rest the phone was working fine.
After many follow-ups I finally got the information on 19-1-11 that the board of the phone requires to be replaced. As the repair cost was very high I denied, and asked them to send my phone back in the same condition.
On 28th Jan. I was called up and asked to collect the phone, but on receiving the same it was fully dead and even not switching on. On asking the reason behind they told, because your phone was opened for check the LCD and board both got malfunctioned during this exercise and it usually happens during the repair.
I am surprised that if this is normal, why I was not made aware on the same day of deposit. The challan which was given to me, it also doesn't announce that data loss or related problems can occur during repair. The phone is still with redington and I am facing lots of problem due to the unavailability of my phone. I am using a Chinese phone and very-very sad to have it. Please help me .
I am looking forward for your corrective action on it and hope you will understand my inconvenience.
Regards,
