blackberry curve 9300 — Redington India-Service Centre damaged my set and not accepting

My mobile set was not working so i took it to Redington India, Bhubaneswar on 3rd August,12. They accepted it and informed that they have to send it to Bangalore and it will take 15 days.
On 27th a mail from Redington states that my set has got 'liquid damage' and does not meet warranty criteria.
Blackberry sets has got a litmus paper kind of material which is normally white, but changes color once it comes in contact with liquid. Now, when I had submitted the set there was no sign of liquid damage.
