[Resolved] Nokia E90 — Body of E90 | |
After going to nokia service centers umpteen number of times, I finally have decided to complain. I along with four other friends bought the E90. The best phone by nokia and i fully acknowledge the same. The problem is that the paint has started peeling off and even though we have a warranty and a bill for all the phones, Nokia says it cannot do anything. We can change the body for 4 and a half thousand which i find ridiculous to change the body. I think its time they do some thinking Was this information helpful? | |

Buying such expensive phone and the paint quality is so bad that it ruptured within 6 months of purchase. None of the service centre entertained me, so I decided to buy another body on my cost still nokia care centre is cheating on rates.

dere r lot of problem... such as.. speaker, mike n loudspeaker problem...!!! moreover i need 2 purchase new body 4 my set...!!!
E90 — I want the body of e90 .in black colour.
Sir i have e90. And prob. Is that it is working very good .. But it is colour every day out of og.colour ... And i have warrant card and bill also .. So plz replace the body... My phone number is [protected] ... i too have the same problem of pilling off of the black colour. It's coating pills off like a film within 6 months.

Yes, absolutely. I spent 37.5K to have this master piece and now I feel cheated. It's coating pills off like a film. I visited Nokia Care & they refused to help!
I am in a search of new Nokia E90 body as body paint of the handset has come out in just a period of 7 months from my date of purchase. I am really upset since i paid a huge amount of money for this handset. I will be greatful if anyone could suggest me where can I get a cheap Nokia E.-90 BODY since i want it to look in a new condition. I cant spend 4500 Rs for getting it. I am looking for some cheaper options.
My E90 Black also started to peel... think of removing all the paint when the condition gets worst and do a spray myself.. anyone did that or just buy a new casing? Will the paint of new casing pill also???
I have a similar problem with my E90. Its paint has started to peel off. I take good care of my phone but its of no use. I think Nokia is pathetic. They simply want to make more and more money and least bothered about the quality they give.
Even I am looking for a cheaper solution to this problem as replacing the whole body is pretty costly.

ya guys. it is true that when we are purchasing huge price of mobile than there must be changes by nokia people. it is their responsibility.

I also have the same problem. I have purchased e90 10 months back and its paint is peeling off like any thing. I have taken good care of my handset, and i fail to understand why paint of such an expensive phone is comming out like this. I have visted nokia service center number of times but they are asking for Rs.9500/- to change the body. Very disappointed with nokia's warenty/service arrangements.
