Hi,

I have Nokia 3360 Handset and it is working fine, At Nokia store, they are unable to provide battery for replacement.

They are suggesting purchase new hand set.

Cool .. when the old one working fine, why i change the handset due to non availability of battery.

I had bought Nokia N 81 cell phone in October, 2008. For the last one month (ie.since September 2009) the battery seems to have become very weak. I am having to charge my phone at least three times a day and am facing huge inconvenience on this score, especially when I travel. I have tried to get this battery from some NOKIA CARE shops in Chennai, India, without success as stocks are not available.

It is shocking that this battery should go out of the market in a year. Shame on Nokia for this terribly poor service, resulting in torment an All prospective buyers of Nokia phone should take notice it.

I am a user of N 82 and I am also not getting the suitable battery. Very sad thing.

I am a user of Nokia E-51 and I am also facing the same problem here in trivandrum.

BP-6MT battery is out of stock here . Even I tried in Cochin, I get the same answer from them.

This is ridiculous. Nokia is having such a poor customer service.

But duplicate ones are available here at the black market...

Please let me know if you get any original BP-6MT battery. I shall post if i get one.

I also own N82 and i have searched every where in Chennai, but there is no stock. but the retalier advised me BP 5M battery instead of BP 6MT.

I own an E 51 and have been looking for a BP 6MT battery since past 2 weeks. None of the Nokia Care or Priority dealers have it in Kerala !!. Seems Nokia doesnt supply them this series of battery. I dont beleive how an in-production mobile phone doesnt have spare battery available. Is Nokia encouraging customers to opt for black/grey market ?

I have also been looking for the same BP-6MT battery for my Nokia N81 for the last 4 months in Kolkata. None of the Nokia Priority dealers have it. They even do not know if at all they will be able to provide one in the future. I wonder if this battery is a faulty one in the first place - so many people complaining about it. I got my N81 for Rs. 20, 000 and within a year the battery of the phone goes out of market - something fishy definitely. SHAME on NOKIA. I have been using Nokia phones from the time I began using mobile phones. Now I am seriously thinking of never using any more NOKIA mobiles in future.

My BP-6MT battery in Nokia N 82 supported well for 18 months and all of a sudden has deterioriated suddenly. I could not find a replacement battery in Bangalore, Vijaywada (while I was on travel). The Nokia dealer also pledged for an apology. This is an irresponsible attitude from Nokia as it is unable to support with important accessories for high end model. What I should do now?

nokia battery BP-6MT — charging extra for battery BP-6MT

the nokia service centre at BAKSHI NAGAR( jammu) is charging Rs.1995/-for nokia battery
BP-6MT.where as its rate has been slashed down by the company to
Rs.1295/-
This shows how high is the coruption there.
The matter may kindly be investigated
mean while they may kindly be given directions to cell on prescribed rates
so that we can purchase the same
mobile no.[protected]

i hv been using d n81 since 2 yr and recently ie 1 month my battery was not working properly...it was just on 29th september 2010 i started looking for ths battery bp-6mt and i got it today by 3rd october 2010. looking at all these complains i consider myself really lucky...

My N82 battery had begun bulging and have been looking for BP6MT for last few weeks in Hyderabad... today I checked up with Nokia Care at Panjagutta and guess what I got it... They said Nokia began the productiona again... Cost Rs 1260 (inclusive of tax)...
