[Resolved] BPL Mobile — unapplied callertunes | |
about a month ago i started getting calls for applying for callertunes.. i always use to cut those calls one morning when i picked up my phone, i saw a message (not sms) showing that rs.15 have been cut from your account i did not know what it was for but my friend told i had got callertune (tujhme rab dikhta hai from RNBJ) even though i did not apply for it!!! again after around 3-4 days i got the same message according to which now my callertune was Haulle haulle from the same movie i called customer support but the person said that i applied for it i told him 4-5 times i did not do so finally he said do you (me) want to stop such calls and stop the callertune and i replied with a yes STILL I AM GETTING THOSE CALLS AND FROM ABOUT A MONTH AGO MY BALANCE HAS BEEN DEDUCTED BY rs.2 (1 for the plan (10 ka gang) and 1 for the callertune!!!) from 6-7 days my frnds and family told that the calletune is not there any more NOW MY BALANCE is Rs.-1.94 and today i got a message that the callertune service has been withdrawn from now because of the balance!!! I DEMAND A REFUND AND WANT TO STOP SUCH CALLS!! my number [protected] also the same thing (unapplied callertune) happened to my mother once and she has the former song that i had even though she did not apply for it Was this information helpful? | |

I totally agree that BPL is forcibily implying caller tune on the customer. As the same thing has happened with my old parents (No. being [protected]). They have not even opted for it but all of a sudden we found that the caller untunes have started in their cell no. I request to kindly deactivate the caller tune services from their no.

Please note my present caller tune has been actually forced upon me and to top that I have had to pay for it.
I just received some call from BPL and in fact I cut the call but after that i received message that my caller tune is so and so and caller tune charge and some monthly charge has been deducted.
Most diagreeable!!!
Please I am not against caller tunes but at least I am entitled to have one of my choice. Right? I am paying for it!
If you can change my caller tune to the song from "TAAL" that would be nice. The song is "Khafa hai magar bewafa tu nahi...mere paas hai tu mere saath hai"
OR
Give me the chance TO CHOOSE.

The same thing has been happening to me since the last year. Without my knowledge & my approval my caller tune keeps changing from a bhajan to latest filmi songs which I have not subscribed to. The caller tune I have subscribed to under goes a sudden change when BPl without my approval changes my caller tune to their latest chart buster {as recent as today by adding Bebo from Kambakht Ishq as my caller tune} as per their whim & fancies.I am seriously thinking of changing to another network as I am sick & tired of their endless promotional calls on my cell phones & their changing my caller tunes whenever they want. No more...enough is enough.
