I have surrendered my BSNL connection on August 24th of 2012 and informed that it will take 60 days for the refund which will be sent via cheque. As of today[protected], the cheque has not been dispatched and not refunded the money. However, when I went to the BSNL office they informed that it has been sanctioned and approved on Dec 06th 2012. But there is no fund and stopped issuing cheque for refund. The Junior Accounts Officer told me that they have forwarded the file to another department on 19th of Dec 2012.
There is a delay of 4 months (more than 120 days) in which they have not refunded the money of Rs. 5811. I want them to pay with the penalty or interest when they refund the money. When there is a delay of BSNL bill payment we have asked to pay the penalty charges. But when they make such delay in refunding to customers, who will pay the penalty? Was this information helpful? |
