I had applied for a landline in BSNL about 2.5 yrs back and the BSNL guys installed a WILL Phone (wireless phone) and said that this is a temp setup and they would replace the WILL Phone with a proper landline wired phone within 6 month. The promises made are not kept and inspite of calling all the Higher ups, Managers etc., the reason provided for the delay was becoz of the elevated flyover construction in Hosur road all the officials are busy attending to the concers in Hosur Main road and ony after the flyover is completed they would be able to take up my concern.
This is absolutely redicolous, and that too from a Manager in BSNL. This clearly indicates the non-willingness and irresponsive nature of the customer service. I had been paying to BSNL a monthly rental of INR 250.00 and still unable to use the services for the last 2 yrs.
Also to my shock, BSNL officials have provided a landline connection to my neighbour just about 6 months back and when i enquired with my neighbour they said that we need to pay (bribe)to the concern officials and the task would be completed within 3-4 working days.
When i called the BSNL - Bommanahalli office regarding this issue they said that its a one-off incident that they had only 1 open slot in the telephone post and ideally that was supposed to be alloted to my house but by kind of mistake it was been given to my neighbour.
Was this a mistake or was this the effect of the currency they got as a bribe.
When will these guys change their attitude and respect people and provide proper customer service.
Will there be any authority who would be able to punish such officials.

They have given me one number through which I can track my status.. Everttime when I called to that number either it will be busy / no one will pick it up... Guys please don't believe this BSNL ---The worst service of all...
