[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Bangalore — Careless towards the Application

Dear sir,

This is Sumathi Mani. I had applied for my Passport in Bangalore One, Vijayanagar, Bangalore on 18th October 2008. My File Reference number is B14926008.I am born and brought up in Bangalore. I am residing at Vijayanagar, Bangalore since six months. Before that I was residing at Herohalli Cross for two years, Bangalore District. I had attached two PP Forms for each address, along with my address proof.

After a month, my status on website was "Your Police Verification report has been received by us, and your file is in line for further processing." with a Green Flag. After 46 days from the date of my passport applied, the status is same, with a Red Flag.

When I called up RPO Bangalore, they said that Vijayanagar, Bangalore Police Verification is recieved by them (residing less than one year), and the Verification for my old address has not been recieved, so my file cannot be further processed until they recieve the verification of my old residential adress. When I asked about my PP Forms that I have applied for my old residential address, they said that those files are missing and asking me to re-apply again for it.

And the RPO department was not even sure that to which sub-division my old residential address belongs to. And they say that It may take another three months to recieve my passport when I enquired on December 9th 2008. So I had been to the RPO office again, they did not even allow me inside during the working hours, finally dropped my new PP Forms in the Box. Again when I called them after three days, they said that I have not mentioned the File number, so again I have to fill a New PP Form and drop into the Box.

Till today my status is neither changed nor processed. And I have to submit my Passport copy On December 30th 2008 to my Office, Already faced so many problems due to the delay in submission of my passport copy, Hence requested for an extension upto December 30th 2008. If I do not submit it before my due date, my services to the company would be terminated.

My question is, they say that the verification itself is not completed, But why they have put the status as "Your Police Verification report has been received by us, and your file is in line for further processing." And why it was Green Flag on my status before, And why now they changed to the Red Flag for my status. and How can they miss the sensitive files so carelessly. If the Central Government Office itself is doing like this, then whom should the Citizens of Our India Trust ? Who is responsible for this negligence, though my part of work is done correctly.

What should I do now, if I want my Passport with completed Police Verification before December 30th 2008.

I cannot apply newly for the PP verification anymore.
Either proccess my file and submit me the passport copy in earlier or Get me in a written statement that my respective forms are missing.

This is my third mail to you, But you have not responsed to any of my mails. Please take action on my request and help me in
getting my passport early.
