    I have an account with HDFC Bank - Okhla Branch and i requested for a cheque book online which i did not receive for quite some time. I again requested online and did not get it. Then i called up customer care and came to know that it has returned un-delivered due to some reason which is not mentioned in their system and they cannot take my request on phone and i need to visit the branch for cheque book request.

    My concern is that it should have been the responsibility of bank to inform me through call, e-mail or any other means that my cheque book has returned un-delivered. Then one day i got a cal from a executive of different HDFC Branch explaining that he is my RM and i do not need to visit the branch and he will get this sorted out. But that RM also did not bother to call back and update me. When i did not get any response, i called up the RM and now he is telling me that i need to visit the bank for the cheque book request and he cannot do much about it. I lost several days due to all this crap of the bank. what is the use of having such processes which frustrate the client. Bank should have checked with the customer on non-delivery.

    I am highly frustrated with the poor customer service of this bank.

      Hi All,

      My name is Haris Khwaja Mohammed I am working in Gurgaon.(Really shocked, surprised and depressed with HDFC)

      I have a Home loan with HDFC LTD-Account[protected] for the amount of Rs 510000 from lucknow. Being an honest customer I have been paying my Emi on time for the last 3 years.
      My interest rate was Initially 10.2% , slowly and gradually as the rates go higher HDFC increased my ROI to 11% to 13.5 % as of today. There was no intimation from the bank to me that the Interest Rates has been modified.
      After three years , Somehow a source of mine told that the current ROI is 10.75% with HDFC and I am paying a very high ROI.
      “IT SHOULD BE THE REPONSIBILITY OF THE BANK TO REVISE THE ROI AS PER THE RBI REGULATION WHILE INCREASING OR DECREASING.”

      When I checked with HDFC bank in Gurgaon Mehrauli road First India place they said they will convert the rate of interest however I have to Rs 2159 as processing fees.
      I have paid them the amount however my query remain there as “Bank has increased the ROI as per their current rate last year(without notifying me) and charged me nothing however when the ROI has gone down they want me to pay them to revise the rate to their current rate i.e 10.75%” is this a joke.

      More over they have no answer to this question and doesn’t entertain such talks.

      I would really never do any business with HDFC again. They only rob citizen of their own nation .Complete Bhrashtrachar!!!

        I was given two lone from your bank in 2006 from HDFC Bank Grater Kailash New Delhi


        One was for Bike Rs.39000/ from HDFC bank.
        Instalment Rs.1450/ per month for 18 month.


        Second was personal lone amount Rs.200000/ from HSBC Bank.in 2005.
        Instalment was -Rs.5079/-per month for Five Year But it was paid up to 2007


        I change my Job in 2007 and shifted at Varanasi.
        Before shifting I could not get NOC of these two lone. Because I was not aware of NOC importance in another lone.


        Now I am trying for another housing lone from HDFC Bank Varanasi. For another lone can not be granted without of NOC of earlier lone.

          since last 2 days i am trying to register my net banking...but i am not able to receive my auto generated password on my mobile.
          i have already complained to HDFC support forum but no response. i have also visited karad branch but no one knows and interested to solve this problem,

          I had requsted HDFC credit card before 2 months.
          Still I haven' got it
          When I contact the respnsible agent name Padmashil (Pune) each time he says that there is srver prblem.
          Finally I told him that I don't need that card and I will complain about their servic.
          I have purchased a Credit Card from HDFC bank last year & i have lost it. I did immediately call customer care to block my card as i have lost it . At the end of the month when i received the monthly statement which was showing that still my card is active & high amount have been swiped from the card. Even after several reminders there was no response from Customer care, after 2 months they started harrasing me for payment not done, i did explain several time about the incident happen but they keep on harrasing me, they started sending people at my home & made them standing till midnight & started scaring me.

          Finally i had word with Mr. Nikhil from HDFC who asked me to settle the account & i have agreed as being a female i was not in a condition to tolerate the harassments. he has asked me to pay 20 thousand on installment basis, which i have paid generically to avoid further harressment but now even i after paying the complete settlement amount they are not ready to give settlement Letter, neither they are answering my call ; i'm calling Nikhil but he transfers his call to some other person or dont bother to even response.

          They have uploaded my name in defaulter list which is again i am suffering from several problems due to that.

          Its my kind request to consumer court pls look into my matter & give me the justice...

          HDFC Bank — Service-Response

          Hi!

          I have my salary account in HDFC bank , somaji guda.and m y account number is [protected].

          As my Debit card got bolcked , i went to nearest branch ( Srinagar colony branch ) and request them to provide me form to submit the request.

          I have also asked them to with draw a check of 2000/- .

          They have also rejected to take the request for third party tranfer which they claim as can be done on any branch!

          Despite of all these the staff over there give irresponsible answer

          I kindly request to take some action against them inorder to avoid such inconveniences infuture to me or any one.

          HDFC Bank — No Reply

          I went to "North Veli Street" HDFC bank branch for opening a salary account for my private limited company in same "North Veli Street". They asked all details like, company size, average salary & etc. They adviced to open a current account in their branch first.

          They said, Ok I will send my representative to your office & he will deal all the procedures to start the current account & start salary account.

          Almost 1 month passed. No one contacted me yet. What is wrong with them actually? Not interested to get a new customer?

          If you are a HDFC official then dial madural north veli street branch & ask "Did anyone came for opening a salary account last month? in June?".

          I gave my business card to them. I hope it is still in his desk.

          I am unable to do the online transaction giving me an error attached below.

          You Were Trying To Use hdfcvbvpg Payment Gateway And The Transaction CouldNot Proceed Due To GV00004-PARes.

          We regret that the payment for the transaction under reference no. [protected] was not authorised by your bankers and hence we are not in a position to process the booking.
          I applied for HDFC credit card online before a month, after submitting the form i my status changed to "Your application is under process. We will update you within 1 working day" but still now i didn't get any calls or mails from them. I wrote to their customer care but no response. If i'm not eligible then atleast they will inform it to me. i attached my application status image.

            I have two cards and due to some financial difficulty I was unable to pay the dues in time and ask for settlement.
            Your executive and agency harassing me and calling me using harsh and ugly laguge visiting my house threatening child and maid even after spoke to me in phone and also asking my office tio take action
            Last weak asettlment has been agreed around 50 000 each and ask to pay me in 8 instolments and ist instolment in cash
            I have agreed .the next day theay come with legal notice saying to pay minimum ist and settlement letter provided in the next day
            I request you to look into the matter
            I have the names and phone nos of the executive and alsom the date for which call 25 times a day
            This has already been intimated to customer service and settlement section
            Whenever any accounts get settled, normally settlement letter is provided to the customer and payments are being collected accordingly as per the terms mentioned in the letter. But in the present cases, it is seen that instead of providing the letter, your recovery officers are making repeatedly unlawful attempt with the customers’ who are ready to make the payment as per agreed offer.

            2. Several procedures has been laid under RBI guidelines about the privacy of any customer, which has to be maintained by any recovery agents/officers of any bank during the recovery provess of any loan amount. But in case it is observed that your recovery agents/officers have crossed all the specified limits of recovery and are abusing to those innocent peoples who are no way concerned with the case.

            3. Several judgments reveal the fact that bankers have been imposed with heavy fine for using of muscleman to recover the loan amount. But the present case is not of recovery of loan, but is non-compliance of terms and condition as agreed between the customer and the banker. If the account of both the complainant’s has got settled then the said letter has to be provided to the complainants for the clearance of final amount from the complainants.

            4. Sometime such kind o[censored]nlawful activity also result in suicide attempt at customer's end, those who undergo through mental dipression, which we have experienced in past. And you have already experienced the results of such incidences, as you have already paid a huge amount .

            Hdfc Bank Ltd. is a leading Private Sector Bank in India with huge profit. And we at our end never expect such kind o[censored]nlawful activity from your esteem bank. Being a leader in Indian Banking System, if you only start putting such examples in society then what we should expect from other bankers.

            We are living in a civilized society where there is effective rules of law. And such kind o[censored]nlawful activity cannot be permitted and accepted in our civilized society. If there is any issue then it has to be resolved amicably by means of mutual understanding or by means of legal machinery. But promoting GUNDAISM in the society is not permitted for the recovery of loan amount from any customers by any bankers.

            i urge you to intervene in the said matter and resolve the issue with the complainants within 10 days, from the receipt of this mail. Failing which, i will be forced to direct our legal cell to raise the matter before appropriate court in the interest of principle of natural justice of the society.
            This matter is urgent since I am depressed by these people

              Dear Sir,
              I am a credit card holder with HDFC Bank. For the past 3 months I have been receiving statement in which in the name of "Financial Charges" they have been deducting Rs.769.85 as per (08/01/2012), Rs.548.29 as per (08/12/2011), Rs.394.51 + Rs.29.05 as per (08/11/2011), Rs.358.13 as per (08/10/2011). When I asked their customer care about this they reversed Rs.358.13 on 02/11/2011. Now again I asked them why they are repeatatively been charging some amount they say its as per their policy, go and read the documents in welcome kit. I simply asked them one question, why u r providing 2 amounts in the statement and as well in the payment gateway (i.e.), Minimum amount due for each month and the Total dues. As a customer, what will we do that I am supposed to pay only the minmum amount due pertaining to this month. Bcoz nowhere in the statement it is mentioned that minimum amount due is going to attract "financial charges". Moreover, the customer executive to whom we ask abt this, they say based on the capacity we have fixed these amounts. This is like adding salt on one' fresh wound. I dont know on what basis these people are adjudging the capacity of the customer and for illiterate people to understand. I dont know which bank gives credit card to illiterate. If they are doing so, then their entire motive is to swindel the money of the customer. Added to this, they say that this is RBI' policy. This shows that there is no corporate social responsibility in the bank. I want a clarification on this and compensation for the way in which these people treat the customers. I wish RBI and consumer forum looks into this matter seriously as this is not only my concern, its is a huge concern for all the people in the country. Not many people are aware of this credit card and its various cycles, though literate or illiterate. These sort of hidden financial behaviour and the attitude has brought USA down in 2008. My sincere request to RBI and the consumer forum of India is to take this matter and act on this seriously.

                Unauthorized money deducted from my Gold Credit Card. Contact person Sreya who was contacting me from this number [protected] is now playing with me and not receiving my call. When I am calling to her to know the status her colleagues are receiving and joking with me and saying that she died, she left the job etc. When she called me to give me a credit card on behalf of my auto loan she said that it would having balance of 1 lakh, but when I received it was Rs 50000. I have only made a purchase of fuel worth Rs 2000 on 1/1/2012. And now my balance is Rs. 39068. When I talked to her she told the rest amount has been deducted for some policy and some extra charges which I am not aware of. So please take action against this or else take ur credit card back with the amount that I have been purchased from it.

                I think HDFC Bank is giving credit card and making its own policy business with it, right??

                Previously I have already mailed to Grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com and [protected]@hdfcbank.com. Till now no respond. Again I have mailed now with my card details. Please close this chapter asap. It's been I month+ I have taken my car loan and I didn't received any loan documents of it, also didn't received my credit card pin number which supposed to be dispatch between 10 days but see that Sreya (HDFC bank executive) activated some stupid policy and dispatched to me in 2 days. However I didn't received that policy documents and sent it back.

                Let me ask in which service you people are fast?

                            My name is Naraindas Nathermal Tolani. I am an NRI and resident o[censored]nited Arab Emirates. I have a priority account with HDFC Bank with a customer id of 8277419. The branch manager of the Sector 11 , Rohini, New Delhi branch had sold me a policy No. 13198835, Plan : HDFC Savings Assurance plan. I have been cheated by the branch manager, Mr. amit Bansal(HDFC Employee), the consultant of HDFC , Mr. Krishna.
                            The term of the plan is 10 years and the premium is Rs. 500,000 per annum. I was promised that I will get Rs. 72 lakhs or more at maturity. This policy started on 14/10/2009 and I paid premium for 2 years. For the third year, when I visited the branch, one of the employees named Mr. Amit Bansal conveyed that this policy is wrong and there is no benefit, and HDFC could hardly sell this plan. He said I will try to convert it to Hdfc Gold Fund, but later he sent a consultant from HDFC bank, for this plan, at my residence. The consultant said that he cannot cancel the policy but can try to reduce the premium to Rs. 10,000 per annum to which I agreed. Till 1 week I dint get reply for the confirmation of the new premium of Rs. 10,000, hence I visited the branch again. There I was told by Mr. Amit Bansal that we cannot reduce the premium. Then after a few days, I got a call from Vishakhapatnam, that my policy was overdue and I should pay the premium. I explained on the phone that I had spoken to the consultant of this plan and with my branch employee regarding the reduction of the premium. After, listening to all this the lady on phone said that I can reduce the premium to Rs. 250,000 instantly. I gave the telephone nos of the branch manager, Mr. amit bansal, the consultant who visited my residence to the lady. I asked her to talk to these people as I am in talks with them for reduction of the premium. Then again I did not receive any reply from anyone. Then I visited the branch again, and discussed the matter with the branch manager again. The branch manager called his head manager in front of me, and spoke about the entire issue and got an approval to reduce the premium to Rs. 250,000. Then as a confirmation he took my signatures on a blank form and he collected a chq from me of Rs. 250,000 dated 23/11/2011.
                            After a few days I tried to check the status of my payment online, and to my surprise, I saw that my policy is lapsed. Then I called the consultant, he then said that your policy has lapsed and you have lost your Rs. 10 Lakhs (The previous premium paid for 2 years). He said that please collect your chq of Rs. 250,000 from me.
                            I don’t know what to do, whom to contact now. This is how an NRI is fooled by various bank employees. Please help me get my money back.

                                The HDFC bank deduct Rs 110.30 from my account when i transferred Rs 5000 from my account to another bank in the same state. I just want to know on what basis you are deducting this when RBI site is mentioning that using NEFT only Rs 6 will be charged.I am attaching my bank details:

                                HDFC Bank Complaints - Charged money without any information

                                    I have taken a housing loan top up from hdfc limited, when i did pre closure they charged me 2% of charges. As per RBI there should not be any additional charges for housing loan related pre-closure, however they charged. So anyone please helped me to file the complaint to a responsible sector.

                                      I have not used my HDFC Credit card on[protected] at BLIZZARD ENT*ONL STORE US But 32,900 INR has been charged on my card towards BLIZZARD ENT*ONL STORE US on the[protected] to which I am not aware of. please help me in cancelling that transaction and debiting the amount back to my card.
                                      I have already called to Customer care of HDFC bank but they have not responded sensibly on this, Please do the needulf for this.

But 2773 INR has been charged on my card towards Chargetrust.com on the[protected] to which i am not aware of. please help me in cancel that transaction and debiting the amount back to my card.

                                      I have received email from HDFC for duplicate unauthroize transaction in my credit account. Those transactions not made by me. Even I made a request to block the card and now bank sent statement to pay the outstanding balance including these unauthorized transaction. Transactions happened in different country.
