It’s being more than a month , I have applied reissue of passport in tatkal Chennai. Till now the same status." Your passport is being prepared and it will be delivered in 7 days". This is the status for last 30days. I need to travel overseas on emergency. I have sent so many mails and called the Chennai RPO so many times. Till now no response from anyone.,. > > Please let me know whom i need to approach. I have tatkal fees. Till now no response from the chennai RPO office. I have applied through TATKAL on 13/Jan/2011 for a Renewal of passport as my existing passport A-9091939 is due to expiry by 15th May 2011.
I have paid the fee Rs.5000/- for the damage and TATKAL charges as requested by your office. The receipts are attached (Rs.2500/- DD and Rs.2500/- cash).The Old passport A-9091939 is cancelled by your office staff and has been returned back to me. Scanned copy attached.
On my enquiry made on 28th Jan 2011 and 2nd February 2011 at the TATKAL Enquiry Room No.2 counter, the Gentleman Shri M. Govindaraju, PGO- Public Grievances Officer - Officer in-charge of all counters-Room No.2(For passport related enquiry pf Defective Tatkal applications, verified my cancelled passport and assured me of speedy processing of the new passport. Nevertheless my passport has not yet come.
Now it is 30 days over after submission of the request.
Due to the delay, I am not able to attend for interview for abroad jobs.
Please do the needful at your earliest.
