I wanted to close the account with Citibank due to their poor responses, and when I picked up the phone and talked to them, their first question was "Are you a Tamalian"? (I don't know why they asked this question in the first place), and they do not close your account at any cost. Even the Santhanam who is the Head of Customer service, does not respond to any mails, There are some nonsense guys around sitting in Citibank. Its no surprise that Citibank is nose diving these days. I would request anybody not to business with Citibank India in future, surprisingly, customer service of Citibank in US is topnotch. sir,i am very much scad about your service. i informed my change of address and also i sent my request for e-statement. but nothing has been received. please make arrange any one of the above statement.
