I live in R.A,puram ,chennai.My neighbour from back side whose entrance coming in sringeri mutt road,called ranjan doss,has constructed 2 floors very next to my compound wall not leaving an inch of space around the house.and he has also kept window and bathroom ventilator in it,and have a terace on top of it from which he looks in to our compounded garden and throws coconuts in to our garden.We talked to him and told to construct leaving minimum 2 feet space so as not to cut the ventilation for us,and for the reason of privacy,but he is not ready to construct so.here is the photo of it.

Dear Sir,

SUB : Our Building no:47/01 sami street Damaged due to the Offending Construction at the ongoing Site door no: 45, Sami Street, Choolai, Chennai -600112, for 6 floors in 30 ft Road without CMDA approval and Guidelines.

With reference to your above subject we are facing a increasing damage day by day in Our Building N0.47/1/103, Sami pillai street, Choolai, Chennai -600112 due to the Offending construction Held at No 45 for more than 2 floors upto 6 floors with out CMDA approval and guidelines provided.

Since we are in Danger of Life loss due to severe major crack in our building Pillars and walls due to your Offending construction held at Door no 45 .

we request you to send your Inforcement team to visit the below site and assist us to save our lives .

respected sir we are the residence of sarathapuram 1 street .it was behind saibaba temple in mylapore.there is a slum near by it. they construct many iileagal construction. at present thet built a toilt in the public road and give ill leagal connection. it causes many problems. r at side some people construct many building. we request you to send your inforcement team to visit sarathapuram 1 street and take immeadiate action.

Comments like this from the public looks ridiculous and pitiable as there is practically NO RESPONSE from CMDA !! If one reads the CMDA's action side by side there can be some consolation.
We are talking of Transparency, good governance, Singara Chennai, and what not.

Pity that we could not see one dedicated soul in the government side who at least stop people from torturing others, many of them happens to be middle and BPL level or poor decent people who wants to spend a reasonable peaceful life.

Our only hope lies in a new reasonably good generation who at least will try to raise to occasion and do some thing good to the society. This applies to the politics also.

Encroachment in the common way

I am residing at 9-15, Pycrofts 1st street, Royapettah, Chennai-14 (near to melody theatre) Opposite to pudupakkam school, in my home one of the house owner name called P Murugesan (No.13, Pycrofts 1st street, royapettah, Chennai-14) constructing a big pillar at the top of the common way and his building also extended construction till common way and around 15 families are living in that same compound. the pillar and building It might fall down at any time and it is disturbances other house owners also. Without asking the other house owners concern he constructed and in the common way wall he is embossed his name in the top of the entrance of the door as P M, that also not asked with the other house owners. He creating problem in the common way always.

Issue Statement:
1) Encroachment in the common way - building construction extended till common way.
2) Constructing a big pillar at the top of the common way.
3) The pillar and building It might fall down at any time.
4) Always giving disturbances to other house owners.
5) Name embossed in the common way by Murugesan.
6) Now he is constructing temple on the common way top wall.

Please take the necessary action.Please do the needful

Sir, few weeks back i complaint on the internet, till now no action was taken against them the problem is they constructing G+3 But it is 369Sq.Ft only approx. It will fall off any time any where into the next house. I Request to forward the complaint to

Recently there is a corporation new light pillar in Pudupt area (Opp Casino Theatre), It's great thing but the place was public waking platform !!! Really it is nonsense !!! How the people walking? You officers all wasting our tax payment wrongly, please think yourself and do it perfectly. this kind of nonsenses works doing in our country only. Please replace some other area and please keep clean & give the important to platform.

Dear Sir, Lot of middle income people purchased a row of houses, flats& duplex houses, covering one street at KAMAKOTI NAGAR, Pallikaranai, in the year 2003 & 2004. The so called reputed builder completed the houses at aminimum elvevation from road level & handed over the houses & flats to the owners & the builder vacated the area. Fine one POINT NOBODY NOTICED at that time. While the land area is marked & located with directions, survey no. etc; NOBODY BOTHERS about the ELEVATION at which the main road is going to be built. AFTER 8 long years the roads are built two feet above the floor of the constructed houses. Now all the occupants are crying & have to pay thru their NOSE- in all about Rs40.00 Lakshs is to be spent & shared by about 100 owners to save their properties. CIVIL & ELECTRIC works are to be carried out at that cost. WHO IS TO BE BLAMMED? CMDA, / CHENNAI CORPORATION/ the BUILDER or the buyers?. WHY the expected road height / Elevation is not NOTIFIED to all - including the buyers- in the beginning or start of the project along with the other survey location of the project. Who will bell the cat?Srinivasan
Sir, A so called reputed builder built & sold 26 plots, comprising of 100 houses in arow covering a street at Kamakoti Nagar, PALLIKARANAI, South Chennai with all approvels. After 8 long years a road is being laid in front of their houses. The elevation of the new road is two feet above the floor of their houses. The road may go up to any height after some years when they are relaid.Now, the owners have to spend; through their nose about Rs. Forty lakhs to save their houses, so that rain water do not enter their houses/ car parking area. The EMI burden is already going on apart from water problem.The ground water is salty & water has to come from out side for which they are already spending.This huge amount is to be spent on civil & electrical works. TNEB will not spend anything to raise the junction boxes fitted in front of all plots and which are approved by them. It may be their own work. Electric post are not shifted by TNEB where the road is laid already.
When the house/ flat is purchased all are worried about, loan, a clear land document & a good construction. The CMDA clears the drawings. layout location etc;with plan, direction, all survey no. etc; without bothering the elevation ( height from main sea level ) ; that is the expected height of the road that is going to be built in future as they may/ mat not know themselves.
We have seen only old buildungs-30-40 years old- in all places which are 3-4 feet below road level. Do we expect such thing to happen again & again. Who is responsible/ blamed for such thing?
How long & when we are going to learn TOWN PLANNING, so that there is one plan with all relevant & important details to save the cost for all keeping what is going to come in near future.
