This is in response to repeted threat i am receving from your collection agency.

My parents have been receving calls from a lady called Neha contact number[protected].

I have asked for my loan statement, to understand what i have made payment till date and what i need to pay, till date i have not received any details.

If this attitude continues i am logging a complaint against HSBC in Pune, Kirkee with the Indian police to avoid constant harrasment.

I am time and again telling you that my situation is very bad in terms of finance and i need some time to come out of the financial crises.

My parents are helping out, but the collection agency of yours are doing lot of harrasment and under the law protection act these agency can be black listed on my complaint.

Please take corrective action or face the brunt.

Today he has given a call to my parents and has give bad words to my mother, father and wife as well.

Let me brief you of the contents of his conversation.

I have made payments for the month of May somewhere around 29th of May 2008. for the current month.

He has not checked my account and is not aware that i made the payment and would make the payment hence forth.

The guy named Santosh calls and tells my parent that have give birth to a and if your son is incompetent tell him to send across his wife as he would like to sleep with her.

I warning you that if this kind of behaviour keeps on continuing i will stop any kind of payment and i would like to settle stuff in the court and would file a case of moral harrasement.

Please look into the matter as we are planning to take a serious complain with the nearest police station.

I am keeping the document version and would be submitting this to all the leading newspaper and will higlight the issues to collection agency to all the leading newspaper.

Please take some corrective action against the collection agency who are coming to my house for collection and spoiling HSBC name.

Or else you face some action as i am sending your information to the police and the press.

Please keep me informed.

Yes i do understand, however i have to repay other accounts as well which are at critical stage.

Please try to co-operate at this point of time, i would clear all the outstanding dues once i am in a good position.

One sincere request please stop sending people to my house to collect the due amount.

This is causing more harm as it is spoiling my relation with my parents who are the ones actually helping me out in this difficult situation.

Your collection guys are threatening my parents with harsh consequence if the payments are not made.

Please look into the matter and stop this practise and from hence forth i would be making the payment at your corporate office in Pune city near Inox.

Hi

These collection agents always threatening peoples whos affected really with financial problems. Threatning them, using bad words, etc. These type of bad activitied by the bank should be stopped. Government should take steps to stop these kind of hooligans sent by the bank.

HSBC — Harassment by Collection Agent

I had an HSBC Credit card that was last used in 2006. I did not receive any bill or any phone calls regarding bills for 4 years till one day in 2009 someone called me. However since i was busy i could not attend any calls that day. what happened next was unbelievable. They got hold of my mobile bill and started calling people who i had last made calls to and in particular misbehaved after calling my sister.

What i want to know is is this legal that you can call anyone and misbehave? Are these the values HSBC follows that you ileegally obtain numbers and start harassing family and friends. I also want to know what my options are to make sure it does not happen again/

At HSBC Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2010 I did address my concerns with the Board of Directors concerning what HSBC has been doing and is doing in India to our customers.

They (HSBC) pass themselves off as Attorneys (which they are NOT, that is illegal by the way), threaten to have your driver's license suspended (which they can NOT do), they will NOT send you any information regarding the account (even when you request it), they promise info once you sign a contract that states you Owe the money and will RePay - then it is to late and they threaten to sue you in court and have you arrested for non payment or not showing up for court (even when they have no address to have you served - that tells me that they will falsify court documents).

They will not give any info: creditor's name, what tpye of account, etc. When you bring up the subject of possible Identity Thief, you are told very quickly that they have all the information that they need to prove it is Your Account. it has been at least a month since I spoke to them and still have not received the information that I requested.

I have NEVER has an account with HSBC. I don't respond well to being Threatened. I do NOT like being lied to. And I DO NOT MAKE PAYMENTS TO PEOPLE THAT I DO NOT OWE. I do, however, know how to hire an Attorney for Harassment and Fraud
