[Resolved] Lenovo — Complaint against Warranty Service not provided by Lenovo | |
Dear Sir, I have purchased a Lenovo laptop Y410 Model No 7757-87Q, S/N.:-MA A9EYH from Croma Pacific Mall Ghaziabad on 12/10/08. From first week of November my laptop started hanging on Lenovo logo screen and when I restarted it, then it started booting windows. Then I lodged a complain at customer care on 07.11.08. They provided me a case id L8B700GN and told me to go to service centre with this id. I went to Lucknow service centre (Century Computers) on 8.11.08. There I found that the display was also not coming and they told that mother board of my laptop is damaged, so it needs to be replaced. They said that at present they don’t have spare motherboard so they need to forward it to concerned department for spare motherboard. They also told that I would get a new mother board within 5-7 days. I called up service center again on 17.11.08 to know the progress regarding my complain but they told that they haven’t received the mother board yet. I called up call centre also but they also did not gave me any satisfactory answer. I am very much depressed to see the service of Lenovo. I bought Lenovo laptop without any hesitation and only depending on its brand name. I want to know how long I have to wait. Would I ever be able to recommend the brand name of Lenovo to my Friends and relatives who are going to buy laptop? Kindly treat this matter extremely urgent. Hi this is Anshuman
I have bought a new Lenovo laptop and the day i purchased it i found on dead pixel. the very next day i ran to the shop from 40 Km to get it replaced but the shop keeper denayed to do the replacement. i did consulted some technical expers about the problem and they have advised me that due to this one dead pixel more changes of quick arision of few more dead pixel.
i am very dishearted by the service standard of Lenovo and the dealers to whome the lenovo has given delearship.
i swere i am not gone buy any lenovo stuff ever in my life and as my colleagues are also planning to buy i would definately change there mind set.
though i know i will not get any response but then also request to get the Laptom changes as hardly 4 days has gone from the purchase date.

Hi,
I got an extended warranty for 2 yrs on Oct 2008, i.e it was extended till Oct 2010. Now today is 6th March 2009 and till date i havent recd any documents and my Lenovo 3000 Y500.
I wanted to upgrade HDD so i called Lenovo Bangalore and they asked me all stupid questions about model, serial no, warranty card no, Auth no etc., and after all this the lady on the other side says my machine doesnt show as it has any warranty as such.
The case gets logged in 25days and now its been 4 months and they havent made a note.
What kind of service r they providing and the service centres are hopeless and people have no clue what they are talking in their stupid madeup indian english accent.
They have taken 2 weeks for just giving me a quote for upgrade and till date i havent recd.
Hopeless service in INDIA, now i have decided not to buy any lenovo products as i have bought 4 laptops and have regretted.
My sweet advice is 'DONT BUY LENOVO' i dont care what they do with my m/c i tell them to go to hell.
I am sick and puki over Lenovo's service.

too damn true!! should have read your dear sweet comments before I ever laid my hand on this ridiculously low quality machine branded under the fame of IBM (IBM, shame on you for being bought by a company like LENOVO!!!)
I got this stupid machine crashing 4 times in just 4 months, and the first week i bought it, it started flashing violently. Fed up I finally decide to bring this machine to return.
And when I called, they asked me the same stupid questions like model number serial number etc which has NOTHING to do with fixing it whatsover, and when I tell them that my warranty card is lost they jumped on it and said that I have to pay a lot money to fix it as I don't have warranty card.
I thought it's a warranty registered, INTERNATIONALLY and ONLINE?????
I am just gona ditch Lenovo system ALTOGETHER and get a new hard disk and iinstall a NEW system, shame on you Lenovo letting Windos 7 professional run on thinkpad x100e and crashing it. And take note, I'm NEVER going to touch this machine again, and I'm going to advise EVERYONE I know of against buying it. I am NOT gona sympathetize you when your company goes bankrupt. And trust me, it's not gona be long!!!
