[Resolved] Corporation Bank & D. Jal Board — Lack of coordination | |||
I regret to write that the Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Government,has approved and auhorised various Banks to accept Delhi Jal Board Water Bills from Consumer, including the Corporation Bank. But both the authorities lacked in co-ordination and the paid bills are shown as arrears in the next bill. It is causing un-necessary harassment, mental agony and compels the consumer to run to both the offices for adjustmen- t of paid amount. Why the consumer is being troubled for their deficiency in service. Quoting example I deposited Rs. 1140/- against bill no. 202906 dated 1.11.2010 with Corporation Bank AM-10, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi.110088, the same amount was shown as Rs. 1197/- as arrears in Bill No. 309669 dated 24.01.2011, I had to run from pillar to post for correcting the same. Please take action against the staff responsible and stop harassment to the consumer. I could not receive any feed back pertaining to my complaint posted since long, your early reply will be highly appreciated.

Regarding the aforesaid complaint, wherein lack of co-ordination between Delhi Jal Board and Corporation Bank was reported. No concrete reply or action has been intimated. This resulted in the continuation of the paid bills shown as arrears till today. Now fed up with no action from your side, I had personally visited the Dy Director of Delhi Jal Board at Varunalaya, Jhandewalan and wasted my whole day in correcting the water bills with the department. They could not offer any suitable reply for lack of co-ordination. I have observed the mess created in the Computer department in Room No. 203, the men on work have no time in attending to the consumers. It is suggested that the online consumer complaints said to be Indian consumer complaints forum may please be shut down, when you are not taking any action on any complaints forwarded on line. It will avoid wastage of consumer time and energy in forwarding the complaint to you. Thanking you... R K Nanda
