[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Current Account Inward Remittance Delay

Dear Sir,

I am Managing Director of Sri Veda EmSys Solutions P Ltd and I have my company's current account A/C No:[protected]. My inward remittances have always been delay by 2 days to 1 week. I transferred money from my paypal account to my current accound and my paypal debited the money on 24th of March. The Bank gave me a credit only on 26th of March. For my wire transfers from US this has always been happening. They take time asking for the transaction ID and other details and delay the credit.

I kindly request you to look into this matter and resolve it ASAP. My inward remittence is pending and I would like to get it without submitting the transaction ID and other details. I had lot of mental tension and worry regarding this as this payment was made around 22nd of April and today being 11 th of May, still the payment is not credited.

Please resolve the matter ASAP.

Dear sir,
Recently i was approached by hdfc executives in commercial street bangalore to open a current account and edc machine installation.but in vain i was cheated for edc machine percentage.they promised wrong percentage.so naturally the account is dummy as transactions in commercial street are by cards only.So please be aware of hdfc executives coming in for hdfc edc installations.Ask them to write and give the percentage, before installing.I was approached by barkath of frazer town branch. HDFC Bank always delays funds transfers. While HSBC takes 24-48 hours, HDFC usually takes 5-10 days and sometimes delays even upto a month! They do not pay us interest during that time, so perhaps it is a good deal for them. They need to be hauled up in court and made to pay penal interest and compensation. Once, they tried cashing some invalidated cheques for my car loan even after I had switched to electronic debit. I made them pay Rs. 1000 per cheque that they tried to encash. Token amount, but this is what every customer needs to do if we expect them to change their ways!
