[Resolved] DDA - Rohini Residential Scheme - 1981 — DDA not interested to honours its 27 year old commitment

I got myself registered under this DDA scheme in 1981. On the pretext of “not having any land for waiting Rohini Scheme Registrants”, DDA has not made allotment of plot. DDA has about 2500 hectare (un-utilised) land in its possession which it has acquired on behalf of ‘Rohini Residential Scheme’, this information has already been collected through RTI Act. In reply to the questions raised in Lok Sabha, UD Ministry has already submitted “Clearing of Rohini back log by end of 2006”. As the submissions made by UD Ministry have not been fulfilled, all concerning officials have already been approached through live representation or written grievances. Instead of replying/ answering clearly and completely, DDA is still trying to hoodwink us and “hoodwinking replies” have again been highlighted by me through my recent letter addressed to Hon’ble Prime Minister and other officials (off course not DDA officials). About 100 waiting registrants are already in touch with each other are meeting concerned officials to get resolve this 27 year old “injustice”. National print/ electronic media people are also being contacted to highlight this “Public Interest Issue”. Many “startling facts” have already been collected through RTI Act and now we are also planning to approach the appropriate court for speedy justice. Unconfirmed reports are that DDA is coming with a[protected] plot draw in coming 2-3 months and rest will be cleared in coming 20-22 months. Rahul Gupta ([protected]). Was this information helpful? My Grandfather applied of DDA's Rohini Residential Scheme-1981 LIG but till the date we are waiting for the plot. Its almost 30 years passed away but their is no progress in this matter. How much more time will it take to get allotment of the Plot? we are eagerly waiting for it. What the Delhi Govt is doing in this matter? Can you imagine what sufferings we are bearing without a house and paying a high house rent for living in city like Delhi?

I would like the draw the kind attention of respective Legislative Bodies Of Delhi that this delay in allotment of plots is a dark spot on the fair name of Justice. Please help us all.

I am also in touch with other people who have applied for this same scheme. I am also inviting other applicants to join hands to get success in this issue. I request you all the applicant of Rohini Residential Scheme-1981 to Please update me what is the new status of DDA Rohini Scheme allotments and share the latest news about Draws and keep discussing.

before i born my father had applied dda housing scheme in rohini in 1981, now i m 23 year old, that is going to beyond the tolerence they dont understand our feelings

I am a homoeopathic consultant who applied for this scheme when I started practice. Never in my wildest dreams I thought it will take such long wait.. still seems never ending.. hope all gets justice.

There is a total disregard of DDA officials of the commitment made by their predecessors of the allotment of plots to the genuine registrants under the said scheme.They are making us to wait for the last 30 years (who have been dreaming of having a roof on their heads) on flimsy grounds of not having the land. If ther is no land then how various schemes are being launched and how various plots are being auctioned?. It is being done since there is no governess at all.Even many persons like me have retired and still waiting for the silver lining. Once I have retired in Feb 1996 they should accept proof of my retirement and allot me the fresh priority but they say that they will only accept my proofs once they ask for it.Many times we do not know when they advertise and when they dont. Let them accept our papers and consider only when the so called notice is given. In fact they should give the plots to all the bonafied registrants who have been waiting from youth to young age.

My mother had applied for this scheme EWS Janta.. but till date it is pending.
on her behalf i am purusing this matter.. but there is not a penny progress... in this scheme.. .application number 29490/priority no. is 6322

my father apply for 1981 rohni scheme he died in 2005 now i want to transfer registration in my name .but dda said that it is not possible coz ur husband had its own property .is this possible

I had applied for a DDA rohini plot in 1981 for MIG and the priority number alloted to me in 1989 is 15967-M, my application number is 231904 . till now DDA has not done any thing in this regard . in 2000 i got my address changed to 30/33A west patel nagar from 4/8 west patel nagar, now i am residing at House Number 205, Ground Floor, VAishali, Ghaziabad - 201010 UP and pl ask DDA to change my address as this, now a das everything is done online, when i get the plot i shall produce everything my registration slip and address proof, if needed i can send the address proof by mail also . pl help me
