[Resolved]  Chennai Packers and Movers — DELAY IN DELIVERY OF CAR

I had a worst ever experience in life with this. CHENNAI PACKERS AND MOVERS.
I recently shifted to Mundra, Gujarat, I wish to bring my car from Tamilnadu to Mundra. To have an idea I have checked the internet for the proper cargo carriers to shift my car. I came across two cargo carriers one is Goel and other one is famous Chennai packers and movers. I appreciate the honesty of the Goel cargo movers, they informed me from vellore to Mundra, they are not having any such facility. Unfortunately I contacted this Chennai packers and movers over mobile to Mr.Kumar, who is the owner and MD of this company, (Great Liar) and he assured that the car would be delivered after 6 days. They asked me Rs.15000/- charge for this service. My car was at in-law’s house at Tirupattur, near Vaniyambadi. He told that he has a office at Hosur. Then my brother in law enquired and he found there is a so called office at Hosur. After that one fellow Mr. Purushottaman came to my brother in law’s house to take the car and it will be booked from Bangalore. Being asked about the delivery this liar also assured for 6 days and then with photocopies of the RC and the insurance note of the car is handed over to that person by taking a receipt and copy invoice for the booking the car to door delivery at Mundra. Intelligently he has not mentioned the delivery date which is unnoticed by my brother in law. He drove away our car to Bangalore on 21/06/10 Monday. About mobile numbers to follow up he has given one number of dakshinamurthy, at Mumbai . Next Monday we didn’t receive the car. From that day my marathon follow up has started which I didn’t know that point of time. On 28/6/10,First I contacted the office at Chennai one Mr. Vijaya Kumar to know the delivery status of the car, his reply was that the carrier is held at check post of Nippani, Maharashtra due to some tax problem for the new cars which is loaded along with my car, so it will be cleared and it will be delivered in three days. Ie on Thursday,on 01/07/10. So I waited upto Thursday ie 1/7/10 and I didn’t receive the car. In between I have contacted the Mumbai office to know wherabout the car as they informed us it would be routed through Mumbai. Mr.Dakshinamurthy was not available, but one Madam told that Mumbai office are not knowing whether the car is booked or not. They would be knowing only when the car driver call them and tell them about the status. In between my brother in law had followed up with Mr. Kumar (Great Liar)about the delay in delivery of the car. He replied told the same story that the car was in Nippani, and waiting for the check post clearance .Then On Thursday again I contacted Mr. Vijay Kumar and he was not available, and one lady given me one mobile number of Balaji, who is dealing with car booking. Then I phoned him and he coolly told me that I will check and come back with in a hour. After a an hour again I Called him and he was telling that it will be delivered on Saturday ie on 03/07/10. I kept quiet and on 03/07/10 I tried to contact them , they are not picking up my phone calls, I tried to contact Mr.Kumar (Great Liar and Cheat) but after 5 calls he picked up his phone and replied that I will contact with in a hour by taking a conference call with the concerned person. After three hours I contact him since there is no phone from him. Now he arranged a conference call with Mr. Velan who is Mumbai incharge in the absence of the Mr.Dhakinamoorthy. and made him to assure that he would be going to Sholapur(previously it is Nippani )where the car is held and to make a alternative arrangement either by road or by another cargo and at any cost it will be delivered on Wednesday i.e. on 07/07/10.This Liar Mr. Kumar already made a conference call arrangement with my brother – in law with Mr.Vijay kumar and assured about the delivery of the car on 03/07/10. Now asked about the same to Mr. Kumar, he replied that he was not the correct person for knowing the details of the car. I started to smell trouble about the car, so I tried to call them up in between to know the information, Mr.Kumar, is not picking up the calls. Now on 07/07/10, I didn’t receive the car, I called to know the status, Mr.Velan told me that I am driving,he asked to call after a hour or so. After that I called Mr.Kumar, then again he had arranged a conference call with this time to a new person called Mr. Seenu and told him to go to Sholapur to take the delivery of the car and deliver on Monday ie on 12/07/10. To know the status of the vehicle I called on 10/07/10 to Mr.Seenu and he assured me delivery on 12/07/10. I was in tremendous mental agony, and irritation because not that the delay in the car but for the time buying tactics of this people, incorrect information, no commitment, etc.. As I joined newly in my present company, they also asked once or twice about my follow up of this matter. The expressed their displeasure in this matter.
Now I came to important part of this long story, on 12/07/10, again I talked to Mr.Seenu and he told me that the car is still at Sholapur, and it will be cleared on that day then the delivery will be on Thursday i.e. on 14/07/10 or 15/07/10. Again on 15/07/10 while tried to contact this Mr.Seenu, he is not responding my calls and after some time I contacted him and he told that he is travelling in the train to Mumbai he would be able tell the position in the evening only at 3.00 pm. Mean while I contacted Mr.Kumar and he told me that he was in bank, he will contact Seenu and then come back to me on conference call. I told him that I could able to talk to seenu, and he is having no clue about the car. Then asked Mr.Kumar that already 25 days are over and my wife is not well, I need the car at my working place desperately. He got angry on me and telling that why you are calling me again and again and disturbing me. I got shocked and asked him that you have promised me 6 days of delivery and already 25 days are over we are not knowing whereabouts of the car and its status. He replied that it may take 25 days or even 45 days because of the tax problem. I told him that see Mr. Kumar the tax problem is yours and not mine. You tell me when the car will be delivered exactly then I will not be contacting you upto that date. He is not having any answer, he told he would be calling me to tell the exact date.
So with the curiosity and the frustration that Mr. vélan promised to deliver the car on last Wednesday, I called him on Mumbai office mobile luckily he answered my call and again he was asking for two days time, that the car will be delivered on Saturday i.e. on 17/07/10. Keeping my all agony, and frustration inside me, I could talk to him coolly that how you are assuring that it will be delivered within two days and last week also you have promised like this. I literally prayed him to tell me the correct information about my car. Then He given me a SHOCK by telling that the car is reached just now to Mumbai. And he was telling that it was in front of him. I could not believe this, I repeatedly asked him whether it is true whatever he is telling. He told me that it is true and he is arranging for a cargo on that evening and will be sending the car through it and it will be delivered within two days to Mundra. He told me the cargo will come up to Rajkot, and it will be delivered to Mundra by keeping a driver. Then innocently I told ok, and after a ten minutes it clicked to me that after 25 days they have brought the car from Bangalore to Mumbai, then another 1100 kms from Mumbai to Mundra, how much time they will be taking ? then I contacted him to make arrangements for a driver to deliver it at Mundra, he agreed.
After that after one hour again I asked about the arrangements of the driver, he replied his driver went to Bangalore for delivering a car and he will be coming with in a day or two , then he will be sending the car on road. THEN I REALISED THAT THIS IS A POINT STOP ON BELEIVING THEM, I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL TAKE THE DELIVERY OF THE CAR AT MUMBAI ONLY, BY GOD’S GRACE HE IS AGREED FOR DELIVERING THE CAR AT MUMBAI. SO IMMEDIATELY I COULD TALK TO ONE OF MY FRIEND AT MUMBAI, REQUESTED HIM TO TAKE THE CAR ON BEHALF OF ME SO THAT I CAN COLLECT IT FROM HIM. HE AGREED AND IMMEDIATELY ASKED Mr.VELAN TO HANDOVER THE CAR NEXT DAY IN MY FRIEND’S HOUSE. AND I WAS LITERALLY FEARING INSIDE, THAT THE INFORMATION WHAT EVER MR.VELAN IS GIVING IS RIGHT OR WRONG. FORTUNATELY THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT, THE NEXT DAY HE HANDED OVER THE CAR TO MY FRIEND AT MIRA ROAD. MEAN WHIL E I HAVE ARRANGED A DRIVER FROM MUNDRA BY TRAIN TO MUMBAI, SO THAT HE CAN COLLECT THE SAME FROM MY FRIEND’S HOUSE. AFTER THAT ALL WENT IN RIGHT DIRECTION, THE CAR IS DELIVERED AT 1.30 PM ON FRIDAY i.e. 16/07/10 AT MUMBAI . MY DRIVER WENT TO MY FRIENDS’ HOUSE AND COLLECTED THE CAR, DROVE TO MUNDRA, HE COULD REACH ON 17/07/10 AT 10.30 P.M TO MUNDRA, AND FINALL Y I HAVE SEEN THE CAR AND IT IS IN MY HOUSE. WOOAH! WHAT A GREAT RELEIF AND THE TENSION I TOOK LAST 25 DAYS IS FINALLY OVER. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EXPENSES FOR DRIVER, FUEL FROM MUMBAI TO MUNDRA IS BORNE MY ME. THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE IS SO BAD, THEY BROKEN THE NUMBER PLATE, NO FUEL IN THE TANK.

PLEASE THINK OF THE MENTAL AGONY, HUMILATION, IRRITATION GIVEN BY THESE SHAMELESS PEOPLES. I HAVE GONE THROUGH 15 DAYS SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND I HAD NIGHT MARE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE. PLEASE FOR GOD’S SAKE PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR ANY CARGO MOVERS FOR BRINGING YOUR CAR FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER PLACE. PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS OF KEEPING THE DRIVER, AND DRIVING THE CAR TO YOUR PLACE.

THE LAST BUT NOT LEAST SENTENCE, AFTER DISCUSSING WITH MR.VELAN, I WANTED TO INFORM THE DECISION OF TAKING THE DELIVERY OF THE CAR AT MUMBAI, I CALLED MR.KUMAR, AND HE IS NOT RESPONDED PROPERLY, AND HE WAS TELLING ME TO TALK TO ONLY TO VELAN, NOT TO HIM AND CUT THE LINE.

SO THESE PACKERS AND MOVERS, NOT HAVIG THE BASIC BUSINEES ETHICS ABOUT DELIVERING THE GOODS IN COMMITTED TIME,NOT HAVING THE RESPONSIBILY OF KEEPING THE CUSTOMER WITH CORRECT INFORMATION, CHENNAI PACKERS AND MOVERS ACCORDING TO ME THEY ARE GREAT LIARS, CHEATERS, BY MAKING THE CUSTOMERS AS SCAPE GOAT FOR THEIR MONEY.
