[Resolved]  Delhi Jal Board — Poor supply and improper response from officials

Dear concerned,

As a responsible citizen, i think it is my duty to inform the government about the lack of management in the supply of water in ward no. 3, mehrauli (4" dia pipe upper-kalkaji). I have been following up with the officials on the date of supply everyday (the last supply was on 26/7). All of them blame the person above them for the lack of water supply and NEVER give the correct info on the date of supply. I have following two complaints on the above scenario :

1) The poor supply is always during peak 5-6 months of the year in this region of Delhi. (This is as per the words of the official from Jal Board only). If so is the case, then why are we not taking any action in this regard?

2) The second complaint is against the officials who are responding to our calls. First noone ever picks up the phone in the Jal Board Office. Even sometimes when they do, they will always say that the supply will come in next 2-3 hours which seldom happens. They will always try to misguide and save themselves.
I have been following up with all of them. The followup started from the lowest level and all of them have passed the buck to the official above him asking me to call them directly. When done so, the official above gives someone else's name. They always seem reluctant to give the complete information to customers. I CAN STATE THEIR NAMES ALSO IF DESIRED.
I am tired from these corrupt practices and am asking the government to take actions and keep me updated.
