Yes. Sewer is no one baby except when collecting money. 24 hr help line refuses to accept calls.If some one comes after repeated calls he just opens by pushing a rod thru the drain and leaves. complanits re desilting is not worked on.I have to call private people again and again as the sewere gets blocked with silt.

The drainage in front of our residential area is remain opened for quite some time, as the slab over the drainage was removed by the MCD workers for cleaning purposes.
The authorities have not bothered to cover the drainage so far, as a result, the drainage is again accumulated with filth and dirt. The entire area is stinking. It has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and there is every likelihood of spreading dengue like diseases. More over, during night, anybody could fall into the open drainage. Under the circumstances, we are living under constant fear.
Further, due to the open drainage in front of our residents, our passage to road is restricted and movement of vehicle is totally blocked.
You are, therefore, requested to look into matter and do the needful at the earliest.

it is miserable situation. no government agency fulfills its obligations. water meters not working, water supply clogging lines, meters and filters with mud and the list is unending.govt mulling privatization. who will benefit???, citizens, government or a few chosen ones??? look what electricity privatization has done--ever increasing bills and poorer service, murky deals re pricing, more outages and all.
