[Resolved] Delhi Police — Reminder to Illegal Encroachment by Car Dealer in Shalimar Bagh AC Block Market | |||
The following mail was made on 3rd February,2011, through the same mode of internet. No doubt u took action and within a week time after the complaint the traffic police came to his office and asked him ( owner of Bedi Car Zone ) to remove the cars & which he removed. For next few days he didn't park the cars in front of his rented shop & which leading to road blocks as mentioned in my trailing mail. But after few days o[censored]r taking the action, things have again been reversed and are running in a way these were running previously i..e Bedi car zone has again started parking his all tradeable cars ( 2nd hand car sales & purchase )in front of his rented shop and again there is traffic chaos. It is very sad that actions are taken just to complete the formalities and as an eyewash. After shifting these Tehbazari shops to new locations, MCD cemented the corners of roads & made it broadened, so that more space is available on the road But after few days of broadening the road, this Bedi Car Zone started parking his second hand cars on this new cemented road corners. It appears that MCD had broadened & cemented the roads only to facilitate the Bedi Car Zone to park his second hand cars . Moreover, even though the road is broadened but still 1/4th of the road is also occupied by Bedi Car as he parks his cars vertically covering entire footpath + broadened cemented road + 1/4th of the tarcoal road. This has also resulted in traffic chaos at this stretch. Nutshell is that public money was spent to broadened the road but it is utilised by Bedi Car zone Moreover, how come the taxpayers money can be spend in such an irresponsible way, which benefits an individual rather than public in general. Also pls note that in night all the cars of Bedi car zone are parked inside the AC Block market. Normally there are 10-12 cars parked at any given point of time. It is also a security threat to the people living in area near vicinity of cars parked, but Delhi police also seems to have hands in hands with this car dealer, as Police also doesn't take any action whereas there is a police picket hardly 50 meters ahead of this site. Why Govt authorities cann't act at their own on the visible violations & why everything is supposed to be taken up by the public to awake the govt autorities ( MCD & Police in this case ) for such petty issues Was this information helpful? | |||

This is to bring to your notice that we are resident of village Pat Par Ganj Delhi-110091. There is a road passes inside the village. The road actually so wide 10 years back that there was DTC buses uses to move. There was a registered route of DTC 321 bus passes quite easily through the road. But in the present scenario the encroachment done by the people residing along with road. The condition become severe that even two cars have lot of difficulty to pass. There is always a position of Jam due to very less passage space left for vehicle movement. This road is very important as it connects Laxmi Nagar to Mayur Vihar. Even with naked eye the encroachment can be seen, the old shop and now the encroached new entry of the shops. Seeing the same even the encroachment is happening in the streets as well due to which the movement of children’s, women’s and old aged is restricted.
Is there any authority will take the same in consideration and do needful.
Builders are very active in the area and with the same level of increasing encroachment it will be very difficult to live in the vicinity.

We listen through media channel wherein public is being motivated to help Police to maintain better law & order
But it appears to be a formality, because when public does the same then it comes in your discretion to act on it or not
When you are being informed about the unlawful acts by somebody then it is expected from authorities to act upon proactively rather than first let the things go in their own way and later on when things goes out of hands then trying to take corrective action
Police need to take action to rebuild the confidence of Public
