[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki India Ltd — Denial of Exchange Bonus on Wagon-R/Concealment of Facts

Dear Sir
I am a practising Cardiologist Physician and a loyal customer of Maruti ever since I bought my first Maruti in Sep,1988.
The pleasure of owning MARUTI this time has been marred by feeling of deceit and concealment of facts by the local dealer's men and that too on the day of GANDHI Jayanti, the birthday of Mr M.K.Gandhi who beleived the CUSTOMER being next to GOD.
I have not been given Exchange bonus of Rs 15000/- on purchase of WAGON-R VxI.by local dealer Karnal Motors Pvt Ltd



Details are as follows-
I asked for TRUVALUE exchange service through Mr Rajender Gupta Accounts officer with Karnal Motors Pvt Ltd as he has been an old acquintance and a patient for more than 10 yrs.He sent Mr Parmod Jha Manager and Mr Yashpal Asst Manager to my clinic/home to assess my old Maruti-800 (AC 2003 Model).He assesed the price value for Rs 103000/-(minus 2000 for Non Govt Employee)and as I planned to buy ALTO or Swift initially so he calculated the price as follows (Annexure

Thus a TRUE VALUE of 101000/- was assesed for my old MARUTI-AC 2003 Model with registration number of HR-05 M 0270 having done apprx 40500 kms in all.

As my son and daughter along with my wife wished to have WAGON-R on the final day we asked for the price and it was calculated as follows by Mr Yashpal

I paid 200000/- as cheque and 41500/- as cash and signed all the paper of old car in BLANK state in good faith in presence of my brother,wife,children and Mr Rajender Gupta.
On persistent asking I was denied there being any EXCHANGE BONUS (like in SWIFT they said)by Mr Yash Pal and Mr Jha telephonically.
Despite the fact that I had not given my OLD Registration of Car(It has been misplaced and duplicate has to be procured) they got all the signatures in good faith

After taking delivery of Car when friends and doctors greeted and informed me of the EXCHANGE Bonus of 15000/ I really felt cheated and naive.I have annexed the paper advertisement of Dealers offer.
I had not seen it earlier but on 1st Oct telephonically and at toll free number I had confirmed that offer for month of Oct-2009 were just the same as in Sept-2009 and nothing new has been offered for DIWALI .

I request your goodself to look into the matter and get me my DUE as my requests with Mr Parmod Jha and other local people have been replied with loud unbecoming language.
May I also request to restore my faith in Maruti and let me proudly say that
Maruti Suzuki has not only been an INDIA 's number one but World's manufacturing hub and true leader of Post-Liberlization era amongst all business groups.
