[Resolved] Dna Newspaper — Non receiving of newspaper | |
DNA newspaper has launched a scheme of Yearly subscription in 299. Their representative came to my home and gave the details. He promised me that he will send the hawcker to receive the coupens but nobody came for that. regular hawker is not ready to give the paper without giving the payment coupen for atleat six months in advance. Then another representative came from DNA he sent one hawker to receive the commencement coupen He came and collected the commencement coupen but still we have not received even a single copy of news paper after 3 months also. Many times we launch a complaint on DNA site also but there is no response. DNA services are too bad I don't know how is the paper contents. I 'll suggest to all to not to take DNA in the yearly subscription. They don't fulfill the promises. and commitments. Was this information helpful? | |

I too have joined the club of fooled DNA subscribers. I had applied for a 1 year subscription and had to get the News paper from October 1st (Paid Rs.299). And I have also not got any confirmation call after that.
I got subscribed for this paper through a Hawker by name NATARAJ and I also took his mobile number ([protected]) for safety. Initially beginning of this month when I was not getting this newspaper, I tried calling him, may be his friend used to pick up the call and told me to call in the evening/morning. Today I call again the person who picks up the call says "WRONG NUMBER".
Today I went through the website and found the Customer Support Number[protected] and interestingly it says "SWITCHED OFF". And I searched in Google for other numbers for DNA support, I ended up with this useful site, finding many other people like me.
No matter the amount is small, I wanted to raise my voice against this issue. People are not here to be fooled. Initially I thought this paper is going to Kick up well with a very attractive price, but it has done no good to itself.
I shall not stop here, I will forward this mail to all my known friends and colleagues and spread the message. (I have a database of above 500 email addresses) Let no more people be fooled. All the DNA banners through out the Bangalore city is an HOAX.

I have also paid for the subscribtion ..after reading all these .. I think i have lost 301/-Can anyone tell me whom to contact for further action against them.Or shall log one FIR against the Daily.We tried calling DNA office but it seems "65738888' number doesn't exists. Vendor is not ready to supply DNA newspaper. They cheated us. We should not leave them. I think all o[censored]s file a complaint now. this company is cheating people by putting large banners and ads.I'm sure DNA believed in Bangalore - that we are suckers.

I really dont know if v r made bakras for paying the subscription amount.
I guess we made a wrong decision by hurrying onto the DNA subscription.

Hi guys just now I called[protected]which is a replacement of the earlier number) DNA office number, I am told that the newspaper will start circulating starting December.
While it's good to know it was not fraud, it is really unfortunate that there is no official attempt to let the subscribers know about it.
Anyways, let's wait and see how it works out in December.

I have participated in the Prepaid Annual Subscription Offer @ Rs 301 and was informed that from 1st of October 2008, I will start receiving the delivery of DNA Bangalore newspaper on a daily basis in the morning.
Inspite of paying the full amount of Rs 301/- in advance, neither has the delivery of DNA newspaper started nor I have been approached by any DNA newspaper representative for the same. I have been trying to get in touch with DNA via mail and on[protected] but without any success. It seems "65738888' number doesn't exists. I feel like I have been cheated and have lost my hardearned Rs 301.
I hope some action will be taken from your end to preserve the faith which was displayed in your media campaign.

Dna Newspaper — vender stops newspaper
my add v-2/4, sagargad, ashokvan, shiv-vallabh road,borivali(e), mumbai-400066.my old booklet no.is236794.
I have subscribed for this news paper on 1 September 2008. The vendor said it starts from 1 October 2008 and showed me the sample of Mumbai edition. I thought it is looking good and that too comes with the Finance pages as compliment for one year and paid Rs.299. Today, it is 13 October. And so fat no news paper yet. When I checked with my vendor on 10 October, he said it is a free copy on the first day and it is not issued. But when I asked him that I have subscription for one year, he said he does not know about this. I discontinued Times of India meanwhile with the vendor who took the subscription charges for DNA from me. I received a call from DNA people some 3 weeks back and they confirmed my address and asked me if I have received my PRIVILEGE card. I don't even know what is this and told them NO. They said you will get it in a week's time. So far nothing. I think, we all should raise our voice together and see that the company is sued.

i never expected this from a project runnin on that big scale. dna executives were so enthusiastic wen they came for collectin money... i have spread the news of gettin newspaper for one year in only 299 rs and now everyone is makin fun of me. ...if ever i will met that person from dna, i dont know wat would i do to him... i have even given vendor's coupon to myvendor but to no use.
I dont think that the people at DNA have cheated anyone. I am also one of the people who has subscribed for the newspaper and looking forward to DNA coming out on stands. I was very well treated by their representative when i called to check about the status on 3rd October. I was told that the launch of the paper had been delayed and we would be getting it in Nov-Dec. And i think its worth the wait as its is a gr8 newspaper.
