[Resolved]  DTC Bus Route — Route Regarding 894

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Okhla, Jamia Nagar, and have been a regular commuter on route No. 894 from Okhla to New Delhi Railway station, gate No. 1 for the last one and a half decade. Due to own personal preferences, I never went for private vehicle or opted for railways. The only most convenient and hassle free transport option left to me and to others like me was bus transport, which, unfortunately happened to the care of Blue Line Bus operators.

The story of Blue line buses on Delhi roads is world known. They exploited, mistreated and leeched the commuters to their full content till the CWG2010. The arrival of DTC low floor ceiling buses on route No. 894, though much later than on other routes, came as a healing touch to us, the wounded Okhla commuters.

The low floor ceiling DTC buses did not only bring comfort and sense of security / assurance to the daily commuters from Okhla to Gate No. 1, New Delhi Railway station, but also it reduced the commuting time and thereby enhanced our output and productivity level to our employers, and resultantly to the nation. Since the blue lines buses used to operate from Okhla Ashram Chowk Bhogal  Nizamuddin  Sunder NagarPargati MaidanBhagwan Das Road  Bara Khamba Road to New Delhi gate No. 1, it used to consume 1 ½ hours time at mimumum. While the low floor ceiling buses of route No. 894 were introduced and put to operate from Okhla Ashram Chowk BhogalNizamuddin Golf Club India gate  Broada House  Scindia House to gate No. 1 New Delhi Railway station.

Most shockingly the above mentioned new arrangement of route has been again altered to the earlier route - Okhla Ashram  Nizamuddin  Sunder NagarPargati MaidanBhagwan Das Road  Bara Khamba Road to gate No. 1 New Delhi. This is the most taxing, torturing and killing route. It not only drains us of our energy and vitality but also affects our productivity and utility.

We, therefore, request you, very passionately but humbly, to kindly restore the DTC low floor ceiling buses of route No. 894 from Okhla  Ashram  Bhogal  NizamuddinGolf ClubIndia GateBroada HouseSciendia House to gate No. 1 New Delhi railway station, and oblige.
