wrf to consignment no.A17732347,I booked my imp and urgent parcel to Threshold Art Gallery,New Delhi on[protected] to be sent by "AIR". The parcel should have reached within 48 hrs atleast but it reached on[protected] .
The reason being that the DTDC baroda-ahmedabad sent it by "surface" and not "air".
I had called the DTDC offices in Baroda,Ahmedabad,Bangalore and New Delhi over 100 times.But they did not respond appropriate,while the Baorda Branch lied saying that the parcel has reached on monday,the22nd and would be delivered the same day or early next day.
It was only on[protected],that the Ahmedabad office said the parcel was being sent by "SURFACE"/road.
It hasa resulted in "Loss of my reputation" and "honour" and "loss in my Business and relationship".

I send a courier through DTDC from Lajpat Nagar Branch in New Delhi to Vikaspuri Delhi on 23rd March 2010. The package was never delivered within the same city. When you try to call there customer service, they just hung up the phone after taking your shipment number.

I am Arpan Halder, final year MBBS student. My mother has expired on
01.03.2010. So now I am very upset physically and mentally also. My
home at Kolkata. I have need a xerox copy of madhyamik admit card for
age verification to receive my voter ID card that is very essential
within 1 day. But the problem is, I am now at siliguri and the
original & xerox copy of admit card is present here. So I decided to
send this by DTDC to Kolkata. I have posted the it at MEDICAL MORE
DTDC branch(address:NORTH BENGAL MEDICAL COLLEGE CAMPUS, SUSHRUTANAGAR
POST, MATIGARA, DARJEELING DIST, Pin code- 734432, phone:
[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] on 25.03.2010 at 11 am
and they had promised to deliver the letter(the letter no. Is-
K[protected] at the given address[Sajal kumar Halder,T-12(6th floor),CIT
road scheme LV, Entally,kolkata-700014,ph-[protected]] on 26.03.2010
within 11:30 am. But the letter is not delivered even now. The main
DTDC branch where my letter will be sent is present by the side of my
address and also same pin code(i.e. 700014). So, it is obviously
possible to deliver the lettes at the given address within 11.30 am on
26.03.2010. But the letter is not delivered even after 5.30pm. When my
addressed receiver(Sajal Kumar Halder) has gone two times at the DTDC
office at moulali branch to receive the lettrer hand to hand then they
said that the letter is not delivered at their office even after 5.30
pm on 26.03.2010. Even i have phoned at the DTDC office(ph. No.-
[protected] then they refused to tell the time when the letter will
be delivered & then when I said that I will complain at CUSTOMER
COMPLAINT FORUM then they have cut the phone line. Then i have tried
50 times but they have not responded to me. That is very shocking for
me. Because i have given the address of a office so that i can receive
the letter quirckly. [But the addressed office is normally closed at
saturday and sunday that means the office is closed on 27th and 28th
march 2010.I have informed to DTDC office about the closure of the
office. In spite of that they had promised to deliver the letter on
26th march within 11.30 am.] Hearing that when my letter
receiver(sajal kumar halder) requested to the nearby DTDC
office(Moulali branch) to keep the letter for that two days in their
office and he will receive the letter on 29.03.2010(Monday) then they
refused to keep the letter. However, my opinion is that it is their
duty to deliver the letter in time, when it is not possible it is also
their duty to keep the letter for that two holidays.
Please think about my problem that if the letter is not received
within 29th march then my voter ID card which is needed will not be
issued.
So, kindly approve my request so thaj I can take the letter from the
DTDC office(Moulali branch) on 29.03.2010

I received a courier from DTDC Whitefield Branch, Bangalore on 8th March and the courier was tampered. The pen drive inside the courier was missing. On asking about the tampered status, the manager of DTDC Whitefield branch is explaining as they have received in same manner. Now the Manager is trying hard to put the blame on the source branch from where the courier was dispatched(as they are not responsible and cant help). I have put a written complaint on source branch Dhanbad, Jharkhand from where the courier was dispatch. Still now, no results came out. This is a case of cheating and utter carelessness. When the courier was received in Whitefield, why they do not check the status of the courier?
Please let me know how to go ahead with this case.

My company name is RAIL UDYOG, located at 20/1 Shalimar Road, Howrah- 711103. We are a SSI Unit and a reguler manufacturer and supplier of railway items to all Indian Railways. We are a regular customer of DTDC courier service. We sent some original documents through this courier service (branch: kadamtala, howrah) My Consignment no. was K38642093 Dt.15.01.2010 Addressed to : Dy. CMM/GSD, Southern railway, Perambur, Chennai. The consignement was delivered on 18.01.2010 but not to the addressed department. We asked for the DRS copy from the Kadamtala branch as well as Kolkata Customer care repeatedly but failure till date. As we are unable to trace our original documents, a huge amount of payment is held back by the railway. Please help us to continue our business.

I sent a parcel to one of my friends in Karnataka ex-Mumbai through DTDC.The parcel contained a couple of Necklaces that i bought for a decent amount for her birthday.I paid Rs 80 towards the courier service fee and was told that the parcel would reach the destination in a couple of days(on her birthday,as decided).I also checked for the pincode in their damn software and the pincode showed up.Which means that the parcel shipment address is within the reach of the courier company!!!!
But that did not happen ... after frantic calls to my friend and the local courier office,both who did not have a clue on where the hell the parcel is ..... i was finally told by the local courier office after a month that the parcel was undeliverable.I got the parcel back which contained a freaking RAKHI .... even the thieves did not have a clue that i was sending the gift to a gurl!!!!!!
After a heated argument and an apology,i was told that i would be given a Rs 250 refund which i agreed to since i was left with no choice.But then i had to go out of town and after i returned,i was surprisingly told that the refund now does not exist and the person who approved the refund has quit the company(All the best to him ....)
I have a couple of questions here ....
1) Why did the parcel not reach the recipient even though the pincode showed up in the pincode locator?
2)How did the necklaces go out of the parcel and the RAKHI in the parcel?
3)How does a person resigning(which of course is a good decision) from the company affect a customer's refund?
4)Whose fault is it for being unable to track the people behind the theft?
Firstly,it is a waste of MONEY,TIME and your emotions as well !!!!!
Never opt for DTDC even in your life ... trust the government's service ... slow but sure!!!!!
I still have the bill from Archies(from where i purchased the necklace) and the bill from DTDC as well.

I have sent a courier on 02/03/10 from Ahmedabad to Jaipur, Doc no: A17409075. As per the tracking status on DTDC site the document was receive at DTDC Jaipur Office on 04/03/10 but still not delivered and the status is still showing OUT FOR DELIVERY as today is 09/03/2010.

I have called on[protected] / 3918151 and had a word with a lady on 06/03/10, she note down my name and contact no and told me that she will call me back but she didn't.
After that I am continuously calling to know the status but after asking the name they put the call on hold. I also sent a mail to css.[protected]@dtdc.com, [protected]@dtdc.com, css.[protected]@dtdc.com, [protected]@vsnl.com on 06/03/2010 but still didn't get any response from them.

I had sent a courier from the Jorhat DTDC main office on 27/02/10 to Durrung Tea Estate, P.O. Bindukuri, Tezpuz and was assured that it would be delivered at the doorstep. As of now, it has not been delivered and I am being told at their office here in Jorhat that they dont take responsibilty of delivering couriers at tea estates, and it is lying at their Rangapara Office.

Sir, I had sent documents regarding my upcoming project of Organic Agriculture slated to be undertaken there, but due to this the Manager of the tea estate is now questioning my accountability. I have just open a Trading A/c in SBI which belongs to Motilal oswal Share ltd, after having enqired i just came to know that they have send me my welcome kit and that's dispatch no. (POD) is M49397798. And after go through DTDC's site i got surprised to see that M49397798 is already being delivered, but till today i have not received any courier from the desk of DTDC. So please take some legal step, so that can i may received my Welcome kit.

This is the peak point of irresponsibility. My consignment was sent on wrong address.My name,address(full information) was written on it & still it was happened.
This is so disappointing that even they weren't ready to accept their mistake.After so much efforts i got my consignment back.oh my god

My consientment Receipt No. is A15834394. The documents were couriered from Surat to Baripada (Orissa) on 27/07/2009. Even after repeated inquiries and complaints through mails. I am not yet to receive back or deliver to my relative the consignment after 7 month. What should i do to get back that parcel as it contain some personal imotional things like Marriage photograph-album and rakhi of total cost 800rs.

on 27th of january 2010, i send an important documents through dtdc bf 830 BEML gate branch bangalore to srinagar(j &k) . it was due to reach on 30th. but delivery is not done till today(10th feb'10). i spoke to mrs Nagmani, mob no-[protected] but no satisfactory reply get. on cheking of the online record i was told that it is delivered on 30th jan , manifest no z 4122926. its surprising how they are maintaing manifest no. if the parcel was not delivered. on contacting srinagar branch of dtdc, initially they said courier is not deliverd and lying with them only. so i gave them some time but even after passing 7-8 days they didn't delivered.
i am afraid my parcel is even lost or what?? its really a shameful service. certainly dtdc should be dealth properly as per the law of the land.

I used DTDC Courier service from bangalore to send train tickets to my parents.
I Couried them only after getting confirmation from the DTDC Agent that Courier will take max of 72 hours to deliver.
Courier number provided to me is B59193259. As the Courier didn't reach even after 5 days i called courier office to enquire.
Instead of giving me the details, the courier office people gave me the phone numbers of the courier offices near to the destination and are asking me to track. So I had to track my own courier by calling all the offices inspite of paying 40/-RS for 2 tickets(2 Sheets). The courier reached only after 6 days(took more time than normal post). Due to this I was not able to send tickets to my parents on time.
DTDC doesn't act like a Courier service any more.

The company has lost our important consignment which has most valueable documents which is very difficult to make it again.

We had contacted Mr. Rohit many times almost 40 to 50 times through Phone at his Delhi office, he has confirmed us that he has sent the same back to J& K office. But after confirming at J&K office they replied that they had not received any courier from their end.

On 16th June I had mailed to [protected]@dtdc.com copy of the mail has been attached below but I have not recieved any reply from their end. What is alarming is that the company is not owning up to it's responsibilities and is not even making an attempt to trace the culprits. This company is also not responding to my queries appropriately. I have been forced to come to you for help.

my wife booked courier at DTDC Ludhiana office for Ambala Cantt consignment no.F04739936 dt.28.01.2010, on saturday i went to DTDC Ambala Office for query but they have no update.They gave me excuse that concerned courier boy is on leave and there is no update on their system.Their Manager gave assurance to get back to me by Monday on the same. But till date neither any update nor any concerned person approached me.

So where shall i go to get my courier.

It was supposed to reach me within 2 days.
I am doing follow-up with DTDC guys since 4 days.
They are giving each others number.
None of them even bother to call back and tell the status of courier.

Dear Sir,

I had sent a courier via DTDC from New Delhi to Gorakhpur, Docket No :D02519829 on 25th Jan,2010 having a shipment of clothes worth Rs 25,000/-.
I had applied for guranteed recevie scheme and paid some extra amount as well.

It has not been recieved in gorakhpur till date (2nd Feb). The local franchisie person in Gorakhpur as saying that "we do not have people right now" ("hamare paas ladke nahi hain").

I calledup in Banglore headquaters and they are saying to contact delhi office. Nobody is picking phone on delhi office.

Kidly resolve this serious problem.
