[Resolved]  DTDC Courier — NON DELIVERY OF ITEMS

This is mail i am shooting out for a very bad experience from my side in your DTDC franchise at vashi plaza
Address: Stallion Enterprise, B-152, Vashiu Plaza, Sector-17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai

On last month 09/09/2010 i booked a courier for dubai some medicine to be sent , on very urgent basis, While on booking i had produced Doctor Prescription as per the detail given to me while on enquiry for the same with the medicine packed ,

After 5-7 days i had got a call from your international base that i also have to produce the medicine Bill for the same for the courier to be set and told me to produce the same at the site where i booked my courier, also on the next day i produced the same at the same office vashi also i have specialy told the counter where i produced the bill that i dont have any copy for the same so please take care that i reaches the destination , and i was given the conformation for that and my airway bill no was noted on the bill for the same ,

As till date the medicine had not reached the destination i went to the office for undelivery of the medicine till date , At reaching the DTDC office at 9:45 am on 15/10/2010 i found only the office keeping guy over there i explained him the same as then he searched for the same and found that my courier was returned back to their office few days back, BUt i was not informed for the same as my no was there on the parcel as well as on the airway bill.

after standing from 9: 45 am to 11:00 am in DTDC office i could not find a proper person who could give the information on why this thing happened as no responsible person was available for any enquiry at the office ,
I then had to contact the cutsomer care to get my details to fill in my complains, , I due to un availabilty of the medicine if any thing wrong would had happen who would had compansated me for the same.

Also it was the reponsibilty of the DTDC vashi office to inform the customer about the courrier return due to their mis communication or information , And working as a international courier brand there should be some norms or standard to be maintained for the staff of the franchise that some responsible person well know about the work to be present in the office from office working hours , not and office boy to take the courier and talk to customer , on behalf the office boy was very polite and also tried to contact some responsible person but his phone was not reachabale,

All this had been reported in customer care so , also customer care tried to contact the franchise person with failed efforts

Please try to keep a working standards and timing for such and big International Courrier company so that people get good experience adn you get good customer benifit

DTDC — Non delivery of item

Dear Sir,
One packet was sent from Kolkata on 14th Aug. Saturday to Ranchi for me.The packet was not delivered yet on 20th Aug Friday 22.00PM. After several telephonic talk with the office attendant, this noon, they said that my packet reached here by Tuesday but they have no person to deliver it to my address. After a long conversation they cut the line by saying not to disturb them, they have lots of work to do. After that they have switched off the phone. Before receiving the packet they promised to deliver the packet by Tuesday. I have an important document in it. I don't understand what to do now. Please guide.
