[Resolved]  EBS — EBS - Payment Gateway India, Merchant Account and Credit Card are non professional people

We had purchased a gold plan from them on 17 march.
I spoke to Mr. Mahesh on [protected].
He told me that it will take 21 days to make the account and now on 31 march 2010 they tell me that it will take them 21 more days.
Please see care ful while working with them I have paid them the amount i am suffering due to them. This is just the start with them. I have not idea how their service will be.
Below are the details of the payment made.
They become ignorant after they take the money from you.

ebs is worst. they always keep transactions as flagged.
I am 100% agree with the above complaint. I am an existing client of EBS Delhi and I went through the same pain. They took all the money and asked that my account will be activated in 30 days. After chasing them day and night, my account got activated after 2 months. Their sales team is worst. They will disappear as soon as you make the payment.

I lost many potential customers due to their delay. Their website is pethatic and their customer support is even more pethatic. Deliberately they do not have any telephonic customer support. If you have any problem you have to submit a ticket. The reply you will get for your ticket will not have anything to do with the concern you raised.


As promised not a single transaction is settled in T+2 days. On the name of monitoring they keep all the transaction in Flagged status for 4-5 days.

I suggest all the people starting new business, please keep away from EBS. You can try CC Avanue. I am not sure about their services but I am sure it would be better than EBS because EBS is worst.
Please please beware of EBS. They are a complete fraud company. My customers cards are being charged twice for a transaction and ebs dont refund their money. even after following with support team. They are eating customers money and the blame will be on your company. We have refunded some transactions through EBS panel and after 3 months, refunds never reaches to the customer and customer is behind us. Their support team is worst just say one line "Please send us an email". and if you email them you get only a automated reply. No action will be on your issue.

EBS will kill your business reputation and your customers will not want to pay with EBS. They have cheated laks of rupees by charging your customers cards many times and you will not know about this as in EBS panel it shows as "Incomplete" or "Failed" transaction. You get to know only when your customer complaint you. many customers dont bother to check their statements and in this case you will never know about this fraud and EBS will grab the customers money.

I have opened approx 10 support tickets and its been over a month non of them were resolved. We lost those customers as well as business. Your startup company will die in front of you.
i agree, Ebs is frud company, it stoped the settlement of the Claints, Merchants, and makes the fake charge back claims, i uddanindia, has used payment gateway of ebs then recently they stoped my settlement of 12 laks and sufferes us laot, and we have a huge loss of business, let the form complaint in RBI so that this frud gateway may stop the operation in india, they have the contacts with the people, who makes frud charge back claims, and grapes the money from merchants

If you're looking forward to get the merchant services from EBS, I'd suggest you're on a wrong track. EBS.in could be such a big fraud company I really never thought about it. I have had an account with them since 2012. They offered me the Gold account saying that I will be able to charge the International Credit Cards which actually never happened. So i started using it for Indian transactions.

Since 2012 after their fraud with one of my other client, I stopped using them. Yesterday (August 22, 2016) One of my client chose an option of Credit Card on my website and tried to make the payment for the invoice generated by us. Unfortunately, we had EBS ON on our website and he tried to make the transaction. By mistake, he did it twice and both the payments of Rs.94512.49 got through.

Ofcoruse he made the payment twice by mistake so we had to refund one of the payment. When we refunded one payment, they charged us Rs. 5434.46 for each transaction where we had already refunded 1 payment which was done by mistake.

When i called up the so called "We don't care attitude Support Department" they said no matter you refund them or not, we will charge you for the transactions. Then i spoke to one of the uneducated Manager who said that if you will send us an email, we will consider refunding 1 TDR and service tax amount for the refunded invoice.

I sent them emails but no reply and then i created a ticket and then no reply. Then i thought let it go man. Out of Rs.94512.49, I'd atlas receive Rs.83643 (approx). Then i realized in my Summary that the balance showing is Rs. 75, 512. I got really pissed with it and so i called these guys again and they said that we have charged the maintenance for complete 3 years.

These guys had my account active for 3 years so that they can get their money by doing the fraud. They charged me another Rs.8, 000 for the maintenance of the account. If i was not making the payment they should have closed the account but they did not. They never sent an email asking for the maintenance charges and now saying we sent you so many emails.

If a merchant is not making the payment, why would a company keep his account live.

I called up the Mumbai headquarters because not they have deducted Rs.20, 000 from my payment and the same thing happened. A security guard picked up the phone and he said that there is no one i can transfer the call to and then banged the phone.

I would never use their services in future for sure but if you guys are looking to get a nice merchant, EBS.in should never be the choice.

The idea of writing this message came in mind when similar situations were faced by other merchants too and i wanted to make sure that this happens with no one Else.

Now they have started a new thing with merchant "nextelelectronics". They took 650/- rs amount for a mobile and after 3-4 month cancelled the order and refunded only 642/-rs only. They kept our money on fixdeposit and made profit and now deducted the amount. This thing if they have done with around 10 lac customer then they have made a large amount of money.
Like this small amount of money from everyone they made a long profit.
The payment done was shown as successful but payment not yet done by the EBS on merchant server and the refence number also given for that payment of exam ...because of this ebs I have lost the exam appilication also because of this payment issue ...worst thing by this Ebs...
