The subject complaint was placed on 4th Aug and I was pleasantly surprised when the service technician visited the same day evening - that was the only pleasant thing . From then on it was a nightmare# On checking the unit I was told that the unit needed servicing and the PCB and power unit needed replacement. I was quote Rs 2,500 which I agreed to# One of the two technicians went to collect the new PCB unit while the other cleaned the A/C# The PCB unit was fixed and taken out three times . I am a mechanical engineer with 47 years experience. Replacing this unit is in my opinion a 15 to 20 min job - maximum 1/2 hour. It took the technicians 2-1/2 hours of struggle to get the PCB fixed.#The PCB which was fitted was not the same as the original unit even by size. When the from bezel was fitted it covered the three bottom buttons on the display unit. When I asked the technician how would I operate the unit the tells me that I could use the remote# The problem with my unit was that it was not cooling well because it would cut off after running for some time. When the unit was finally fixed the technician was trying to teach me how to operate an A/.C !!!! He told me that I had to wait for some time till the compressor started. After 15 mins I showed him that the compressor had nit started and we was trying to fool me and tell me that it had started. He then opened the unit out once again and started interchanging connections internally . After this he tells me that maybe the compressor had burnt out. For your information the unit worked till 6.00 AM yesterday morning , the only problem was that it was tripping too often. In my opinion the technician damaged the compressor in the process of messing around It took me just 5 minute to realize that your technician did not know anything about his job. He was some wayside mechanic picked up by your outsourced so called "Authorized Service Centre. Do you have technicians trained at your factory? If so this joker was certainly not trained or your training is not adequate This morning the technician called me to tell me that the compressor had burnt out. Last night he only had a doubt but today he came to the conclusion that the compressor had burned out without checking it again I am writing this to express my utter disappointment and disgust at the quality of Electrolux service. I am going ahead with filing a complaint in consumer court and also posting this case on all consumer forum and the media. I do not want the same technicians to ever visit me again A fiend of mine who is a senior engineer in LG is visiting mer this evening to give me an independent opinion of what the problem was . This unit is 7 years old and I was in any case considering replacing it. Thank you for your response to my complaint. As I mentioned in my earlier message my friend who is a senior engineer in LG visited me and checked out the unit .THE COMPRESSOR IS PERFECTLY OK - HE RAN IT FOR ONE HOUR!!!!
If I had gone by the advise of your so called tecnician I would have spent Rs 6,500.00 which is what they quoted me for the replacement compressor. They also mentioned that the guarantee would be for 3 months only
I would like to mention here that the technicians told me that for any future servicing that I required I could contact them directly and save the Electrolux visit fee.

I do not want to have anything to do with this particular service unit. My friend has reccomended a competent technician who is visiting tomorrow to replace the PCB and display unit

ear Madam / Sir,

Is it possible for me to get a call from a senior person at ELECTROLUX? It appears that my messages are being diverted to your outsourced service set up. If I call your customer service number I get a call centre - it's a waste of time talking to them.

Over the past two days I have got at least six calls from your service centre . Every time the persons calling are the same incompetent so called "technicians" . Each time they are asking me if they should come over to replace the compressor which they claim has been burnt out. This is a case of CHEATING since there is nothing wrong with the compressor. For your information the unit has been repaired and working fine WITHOUT REPLACING THE COMPRESSOR.
Besides lodging a complaint with all leading consumer protection agencies I am also taking legal action . My attorney has advised me to file an FIR for cheating . I have not yet taken this extreme step but will be forced to do so if necessary

I expect Electrolux to take this seriously since it is not just a question of this incident. It is a question of your authorized service centre committing fraud

So when i called the Customer service Thru Bangalore service centre Malleshwaram opp Sai baba Temple ELECTROLUX SERVICE CENTRE They came and Repaired my ELECTROLUX PRODUCT for the cost of some 2k but not even a week again The vital part has been Damaged So they say Again I need to pay. Like that, All the parts of the MACHINE Has been Repeatedly Recycled.

But the thing is they everytime say Now its Good No need of any queries It will run perfectly,

But every time the Machine lasts 5-6 days only And I need to pay again for each service
Now again It has stopped working

Total loss for me is about 8 to 9 thousand bugs with which adding 2000/- bugs I could get a new Machine Itself
