[Resolved]  EPFO Bangalore — Withdrawal of my PF amount

Hi...

My name is Gopinath Nidanakavi. I worked for Dell International Services for one year and my PF account # is KN/BN/24960/9298. I have once sumitted the PF Witdrawal form in the year 2006 and the concerned people said that it will take around 3 to 6 months for the amount to be credited in my bank account. But to my surprise i found that even after 6 months also the form was not submitted to the PF office and when asked about the same to the concerned people, they asked me to re-apply.

And again in September 2008, I re-applied and received the acknowledgement in the month of October from the EPFO Bangalore. And since then I have been waiting for my amount to be credited to my bank account.

But in March, 2009 I received a letter from EPFO Bangalore stating that my account has already been settled on 20th March 2008 for which they are sending back my application form, without mentioning the amount value that is been settled.

But no amount has been settled or credited to my bank account on the above said date or after that date. And if they are saying that it is settled, then there should be some information as to what amount is credited and to which bank account. But there was no information about that. And when I called up the EPFO Bangalore to check for the same, there was no proper response and no one seems to provide the correct information. And its been from March this year that I have been calling them and everytime I call either the lines will be busy or by chance if anyone answers the call, they hang up even before me letting them know the issue.

This is what the service we get from the Government Organizations, where they dont even care for the people's issues or problems. I dont understand what they are doing in their offices other than sleeping or simply chatting with their colleagues. They are paid to look into the problems of the people and help them and not just avoiding people's issues.
