RE: EMPLOYEE PROVIDENT FUND WITHDRAWAL

I was working in Jaipur from 2004 to 2007 with Crown Tours Pvt Ltd. and had applied for my PF withdrawal in June 2009. I received a letter from PF office saying that i have withdrawed the payment in 2006 whereas i was working with the organisation and was paying my part of PF.

I contacted my ex - employer and then they wrote a letter to the PF office in the month of Oct 2009 explaing them that i have not withdrew the payment. This letter was received by the PF office on 13th Oct 2009 but no action was taken.

I personally visited Jaipur PF office in the month of February 2010 and met the officers there and told them the entire story. They checked thier documents and found that my account was active in their software. They maintain a register in which they cut the name of the employee after the PF is withdrawed by the employee in that register somebosy had cut my name. They promised me that this was a human error from thier end and they wouldl rectify the same and release the payment but till date i have not received the payment.

My ex - office colleague who takes care of PF has gone many a times to PF office and have checked with them and everytime they say that they have solved it and will release the payment.

I have really lost my patience now, as PF is after a saving which every person wants to use at the time of emergency and if this the way the departments deals then whats the use of saving the money if do not recive the same when we need it the most.
