[Resolved] Faber Heatkraft Industries Ltd — DIshwasher installation / demo experience | |||
We purchased a dishwasher from an authorised Faber showroom. Only after signing the cheque, we were informed that installation will happen at an additional cost of Rs 300/- from Faber service center. After delivery, a service person from Faber called asking about a chimney repair. When he was told that we needed an installation of the dishwasher, not a repair of the chimney, the person never turned up. The showroom person ensured us that the next day the mis communication would be corrected. A third person showed up at our house the next day, with the implied intent of giving us a demo, but then, that person started an online phone conversation with yet another counterpart as to how to operate the machine, right from description and direction of the buttons! Not having trained personnel is one thing, but charging the consumer for the same is quite another matter altogether, however small the amount may be. Was this information helpful? | |||
