I bought a faber electric chimney during the Diwali sale period a week back. The dealer was Vivek & Co Anna Nagar. As required to install the machine, the dealer has sent it after 3 days, but not only that the faber service person(Smart Care, Chennai-79) who was suppose to install after charging an official amount of Rs300/- the guy misbehaved and tried to ask additional amount of 150. The dealer is also not up to the mark, neither are service oriented.If the company is reading this complaint, they should try to improve the customer service. At the momenthey are worst.

Faber Chimney — complaint not rectified

I bought a faber chimney two months ago. The fan stopped working.After making repeated calls the technician who attended said some capacitor has to be replaced,But they didnt have a ready replacement and had to look in the local electrical shops to get one/It is past 10 days since they are trying to find a replacement for that.I am really shocked to see an international co. sold the product only two months back dosnt have spare parts stocked and go hunting the local market.I think faber should be ashamed and not to sell product for which they do not have spares.

FABER INDIA/ Chimney — Machine out of order

I have purchased Faber Chimney for mu household use, Now the machine is not working, after several complain and reminder to company and dealer, there is no respond from company , Pls take up the matter and do the needful
I have a chimney bought about 3 years back with lifetime warranty..now it needs some replacement of one of its parts(covered by warranty) to make it functional.. but innumerable calls to Pune and Chennai service yields no result.. and Chennai faber service is cheating me by closing the job ticket without completing the service..Pune service center is manned by some low level call center agents who do not have any sincerity in closing the issue including their team lead.. Is this the cust.care philosophy of Faber including their senior management?..if anyone has filed a consumer forum complaint, I will be glad to join them..or I can initiate one..

Pathetic. No Responce to PUNE service center phone. Is this service center closed ? If numbers are changed where I can get changed numbers ?
worst service responce.. btw NO response. Any one has new contact numbers of faber Pune service station.
we have purchased Faber chimney & cooking range, it is 8 months old. we have lodged complaint over telephone & sent several mails, even after 2 months, there is no response. It's time to go to the newspapers about the poor service that faber provides, despite making tall claims about lifetime warranty. I have bought a Faber chimney with lifetime warranty but to my surprise it started giving trouble within 2 months and the service person was made me take a service and cleaning contract for Rs 1000 approx and even after that the chimney gives problem so when the contract got over i didn't renew my contract now my chimney is not working and it is almost 1 month now the service person has come almost 5 to 6 times but always he comes does something it works only for 1 or 2 days and then it stops every time they only force you to take a contract.

Neither the products nor the service is up to the mark. I have been trying to get them to come to my place for a year now. Now the height is that there is no answer on the toll free customer service number. And this is not just the corporate office.. even the local office here in Pune which i suppose is the head quarter is not answering the calls. Its a bad enough that they don't act upon a complaint and now there is no way to contact them to take the complaint at all!!!
i have asked for a set of filters to be replaced on feb 14th 2001.20days later and five calls to the call centre still no resolution-not even a proper response.are we supposed to visit your factory and collect these things?

with this kind of service, i will never again buy a faber product.

faber/ electric kitchen chimney — service centre not responding

Job Nos. alloted No.[protected] &[protected] dt.4-3-11 and Toll free services declared that technician will call within 48 hrs. . Meanwhile dozen calls to Bangalore service cetre, its supervisor, and the Technician, the assigned technician ore no ruts till today i.e. 12th March noon..

I bought a Faber Chimney and I have been given a toll free no to call them up and get the chimney installed. But everythime I call the recorded voice response says we will call you back . But i never get the call back. Is any one working in the Faber call center to pick up the phone?

Faber Oven — One of the Oven knob is stuck

The Faber Oven is used by us and one of the nob is struk for the past two days. I have first complained to the nuber 28217757 and they direceted me to call 28217304 and that does number doesnot work. On my complaint againg, they gave me another number 28217360 and this number also doesnot work. Again I complained to the first number. They said that some one will call us ove phone. Today I received a call from one of the service agent and he said that I need to contact[protected]. I tried this toll free number several times but not talk to the agent. I was directed to register my voice in the voice mail and I gave my name as Baalasundatram and my contacts as[protected] and [protected]. In addition to the complaints/attempts, I am registering my complaint over net. I expect immediate service as the nob is struck and it is very dangerous because of the gas leak!!!
The Gas stove looks glossy and rich, but the customer care and resolution is pathetic and am wondering how they still exist in market with such a poor customer care. They have an habit of giving "I do not care" sigh when a customer is talking, else, they say, they cant be bothered if the service team is not attending.

Spoke to many people in customer care...Bhushan, Team leader in customer care, Vani a service person from Chennai, Jansi for chennai, these people today cut my call or switch off if i repeatedly try their number. Varun is Chennai head apparently, and i cant reach him anytime.

Am ready to throw money on their face to have the work done, these lazy find it difficult to work for the salary they are paid.
AFTER READING THROUGH ALL THE COMPLAINTS ABOVE, I AM SHOCKED AND VERY DISAPPOINTED. HAD I KNOW THAT THIS IS THE MANNER IN WHICH FABER DEALS WITH ITS CUSTOMERS, I WOULD NEVER HAVE PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM YOU.
UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE AND AM FACING SERIOUS PROBLEMS. 3 DAYS BACK THE COOKING HOB MALFUNCTIONED. THERE WAS CURRENT PASSING THROUGH THE ENTIRE HOB. LUCKILY FOR US, WE HAVE INSTALLED AN MCB AND THE CURRENT GOT TRIPPED OTHERWISE SOMEONE WOULD HAVE DIED OF ELECTROCUTION.
I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOUR CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER[protected] REGULARLY SINCE THEN AND EVERY TIME I CALL THERE IS A NEW PERSON ON THE PHONE. I MUST HAVE GIVEN MY NAME ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER AT LEAST 50 TIMES TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. THE TECHNICIAN THAT CAME TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM COULD NOT OPEN THE HOB AND PROMISED ME THAT A SENIOR TECHNICIAN WOULD COME AND AT LEAST OPEN THE HOB. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN RUNNING FROM PILLAR TO POST FOR SOMEONE TO COME AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROBLEM.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS. SUCH LAXITY FROM YOUR POORLY MANAGED ORGANIZATION IS APPALLING. I HAVE KNOWING WRITTEN MY COMPLAINT IN CAPITAL LETTERS AS I AM SURE OTHERWISE IT WILL GET LOST IN THE SEA OF COMPLAINTS I HAVE READ HERE. Faber Chimney service from Tanuja Enterprises Hyderabad is horrible!! I regret having bought Faber. Suffering for the last 7 years with no response, delayed response, and terrible attitude of technician from Tanuja Enterprises. I still have problems of the switches not working for the last 2 years.

My recent complaint of a loud noise from Chimney is not attended to from last 2 weeks.

Please don't buy Faber!!!
Faber is one dirty company i would recommend to everyone never ever buy faber product quality is inferior they claim that they have used best material its all lie, I bought chimney just a 3 weeks ago, one rain and it is caught all rust it is all rustic now.
HORRIBLE PRODUCTS
Completely agree with all the above comments on the extremely poor service from Faber. Despite repeated follow up there has been no response for more than a week, though the service centre claims that the problem will be 'SOLVED' within 2 working days of placing the complaint. Looks like nobody works at Faber, which is why 2 'working' days carries no meaning for them. DON'T BUY FABER products. You are also getting headaches and high blood pressure for free along with the product!!! This level of apathy is disgusting!!!
