[Resolved]  Federal Bank Of India - Housing Loan — Even without loan disbursement the Bank is presenting ECS of the EMI

Hi,

My name is Pradeepto. I had applied for a Housing loan from Federal Bank in Bangalore ( Residency road Branch). After the process of all verification the loan was approved and I went ahead with the documentation process in the bank. But just before the Registration of the property , I had found out that there was some fraud in the property and hence the registration didnot happen. I was pushed by the bank to go ahead with the deal , which I refused and also I informed the sales Officer working on my loan that I am not interested. I was informed that the DD made for the loan was cancelled and I asked them for refund of my documents and processing fee. This was in the month of November 2009.

To my shock , in January 2010 the bank has presented an ECS of the EMI and deducted from my account. I am in absolute loss and would need someone to help me over here. I called the bank , but seems everybody was on meeting for the whole day today. The disbursement didnt happen, registration didnt happen.... I dont know have they submitted the ECS for. Pls help me.
