[Resolved]  Girias, Bangalore / Kalyan Nagar — bad after sales service

I had really bad experience with Girias, kalyan Nagar(Bangalore). purchased a washing machine last week, the sales person said it will be delivered same day, but did not happen. it took 3 days to reach at my doorstep & then no one from Company called up regarding demo, I had to call that sales rep and inquire about it, then he said that he himself will come and give the demo.

on the other hand a friend of mine bought Godrej washing machine same day along with mine, he keeps on getting call from Godrej through out the day regarding demo, even thogh he don't want as its a semi automatic one and he knows the features.

overall very bad experience

BAD EXPERIENCE AT GIRIAS Shadashivnagar, Bangalore.
I purchased a LCD on 21 Sep 09. They couldn't give me the free gift along with the TV. They didn't reveal this befire cutting the bill. They told me that it will be delivered as and when the free gift is received from the company. After 12 days they say I have to visit their shop to collect it. This is pure harassment for a customer. I have to waste time and energy for none of my fault.
Even i had very bad experience with GIRIAS Gandhi Nagar branch . They need learn basics first ie respect customers . over call they speak rudely and bang done receiver ask us to visit for all silly reason. For what joy co has given mobiles to employees i can hear switch off tune always . these are the nos which i tried but either they disconnected or switched off their mobile after receiving my call .

I paid for a washing machine stand 3 months before and still they are delivering. First during the billing they didn't say they had no stock. When the washing machine was delivered the stand was not sent when asked they said they will send it as soon as they get the stock. And they never bothered to call me back. When I had called after few weeks they said that I need to go to their shop to collect it and thats is their policy. But this policy was not told to me when they collected the money from me. Or when the goods were delivered.

After fighting with some of the customer manager they told that they will send it whenever they have a delivery near my home. But 2 months passed and nothing has happened. Again I am calling from the morning and every time they say they will get back to me in 30 minutes.

Girias might be selling for cheap, but customer service is worst in my experience. They also said some thing about a travel package while I was making my choices but never told me about it later. Anyways I gave up fighting these guys.

I would prefer a better service with little bit more money than buying cheaper in Girias.
I had terrible experience with Girias Indira Nagar branch. They are only interested in pushing the units out and make money. I bought two LG high end split AC. First of all ACs came after 3 to 4 days of payment and the service was a series of comedy errors by Girias. Whilst LG claims to install AC within 24 hours of procuremnt, Girias has no clue of customer service. They declined LG's claim of within-24 hours service. Girias short shipped voltage stabilizers for both the ACs and started arguing that they do not have anybody in the shop to send it to my house and demanding that I spend my quality time to pick up from the shop. They also screwed up completely on installation. Sent a novice installation technician who has not seen this high end AC in his life time. Girias and LG together did a very nasty job of spoiling my brand new house, punched big holes to install the ACs. Worst thing is that they showed up for installation at 7 PM when it was already dark. They argued telling that nobody can do better job than that in the darkness.

I strongly recommend consumers not to attempt to buy any merchandise from Girias as they lack discipline of handling customers who pay and responsible for their existence.
I am also one of cheqted custimer of giria's more shocking is they are used to all these complaints and are thick skinned, Many items from packed box will be missing. low pricing is misleading as end up paying more as many items scheduled to be given/listed as inclusive in the box will be missing.

The next golmaal is free holiday voucher, this is the lifetime golmaal, just see the modes aperndi as i expereinced it last week,

You ar asked to pay Rs 1300/- (399 per day X 3 days plus 100 service charge) for 2 nights / 3 days but the catch is you are allotted 2 days (48 hours) ie even though u r charged for 3 days the room is alloted for 2 days (48 hrs check out), so Rs1300/- divided by 2 days the cost works out to 650/- per day. the original cost of the room is also the same so it is not free, we r cheated as we have paid accordingly

secondly- we would had booked in the hotel as available in the list, just 2 days prior to travel, we get a call stating due to unavoidable circumstances booked hotel is full so will provide an alternate hotel, the alternate hotel provided is much inferior and not even worth for the maount paid,

So- free holiday voucher nothing but we pay the lodging amount fully and stay in their choice of hotel. BEWARE.
I bought 4 - 5 white goods from Girias in Bangalore, which includes an LG split A.C.

The person who came for installation for a complete novice, he took full 7 hurs to do the installation after multiple attempts, spoiled my bedroom wall and broke the wall edges.

The night I turned on the A.C. water started spilling inside my room, I had to turn it off. Next day when I tried calling the person who installed my A.C., he did not pick up my phone. Then I called LG customer care, to my shock, there was NO CALL registered with them for installations. This means that the person who installed my AC was NOT a LG trained engineer.

GIRIAS are the biggest cheats, just beware of these thugs. After sales service does not exist.
Shocking service at Brigade Rd branch. Charges 2 % even for debit card for a very high priced LCD TV. Free gift not given and was informed that it will take 2 weeks after cutting bill. Had to go back 3 times to shop for it. Misleading advertising. Delivery persons made us wait all day and the installer turns up at 7am the next day. Do not shop here unless they improve service.
The brand is full of .
It is one of the worst brand in city today.
They have no discipline, no value for commitment, no values.
They are an ill mannered bunch of low grade people who are guided by one motivation to make a quick buck at a given chance.
Their pricing varies from customer to customer basis. There is no respect for customers.
Let us pledge not to buy any thing from this retail outlet.

This is to inform all those who wish to buy new Electronic gadgets at Girias{the giants as they boast}.I am the one who is been humiliated and made a run for the purchase I did at this stupid shop.The story starts on last saturday evening when I decided to buy a television. I bought it, and when I switched it on it was found to be a crap.till date after 4 days still I have been sitting with the same stuff. And the most embarrassing thing is that neither Girias nor the company shows interest in rectifying the issue rather they fool me when ever I call them by one or another excuse.SO PLS PLS NEVER EVER TRY YOUR LUCK JUST BY WASTING YOUR MONEY AT THIS SHOP...
Girias Tambaram very bad service and there is no response for customers. Very very bad experience...
Bitter Experience with GIRIAS Anna Nagar Chennai, They are Cheaters

The sales fellow Joel and the Manager at GIRIAS Anna Nagar Branch Chennai are big time fraud in cheating customers.I decided to Purchase a particular model highend washing machine.

They promised me that they will fulfill my prime expectations that are
1. It should not be a display product
2. It should be a fresh Stock
3. Delivery before 9pm as committed.
4. Full refund of the advance if I'm not satisfied with their quality of service

I had reserved my time for their delivery and was waiting they didn't turn-up. I called their mobile and land numbers several times but they didn't respond. Finally it was not delivered. Since the next day I had to chase them for and round 11am they said the product had left. My entire day work is spoilt. The product arrived around 1pm. I noticed the packing was so poor with the original straps and the packing tapes were tampered. It didn't give me an impression it is new product from warehouse and the same was confirmed by the delivery fellow that the showroom manager and the sales fellow Joel had repacked the display product and hence the delivery got delayed.I called the Manager and the sales executive and their response was poor and highly irrespossible.They didn't fulfill any of my basic requirement and the product was not in a good shape to accept, hence I had to reurn it back. I called the manager and the sales fellow and asked for replacement without delay, they said they don't have any new product with them. Then asked for refund of my advance but they declined and said they will not give it back. They demanded to 3~4day time to find out a fresh product.I had been threatened that they are not responsible of any damage and defects, hence I have no opther option but to wait. There's no sence of commitment and highlenvel of irresponsibility with them.

INSTEAD OF SATISFYING CUTOMERS GIRIAS ARE CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS...Please NEVER GET INTO THEIR TRAP.

Guys agree with you, as i too had very bad experience with GIRIYAS Kalyan Nagar. I was also made to wait for 2 weeks to get the free gift. Before raising the bill invoice they never realise you that they don't have the free gift in stock with them. I chased them with calling on their cell after two weeks to get the gift, but no response and finally i was told to come to show room to collect after 20 days.
It's my sincere advise not to buy any product with GIRIYAS.

Don't buy from Girias Nugumbakkam.What ever product you buy are defective and they ask you to directly contact the service center of the respective product company .No customer friendly service and they are cheater.Pleas don't waste your money by buying product in Girias.

This is happens at your prestigious show room in MANGALORE I never thought !!! ?
Stabiliser belongs GIRIYAS PRODUT, given with While I purchased FRIDGE, become faulty couple of weeks back immediately contacted to your branch, deliver for repair up to yesterday, hundreds of call reply with in 5 min I will call back like several hundred calls??? then yesterday I personally visited you Branch and told the situation but i could not see Branch Manager I told the hard timings given by your staff.

Then they told me we will send home delivery it took more the promised timings finally night 2100 hrs rep deliver we connected, now morning 04.30 hrs I woke for Prayer seeing that Refrigerator stopped Load of Frozen Items which i bring from aboard to my kids totally melting looks like Fridge also become faulty.

Please take action as soon as possible today is SUNDAY that why I am writing now itself, I looking very quick respond and necessary arrangements because large quantity of FROZEN food STORED in your FRDGE.
