[Resolved] Global Cargo Packers & Movers — Non-delivery of household cargo and car on time. | |||
I want to lodge a complaint against a packers and movers agency based out of Delhi by the name of - Global Cargo Packers & Movers, 365 Ground Floor, Nr. Govt. Girls School, Sec 26 Dwarka, Delhi - 110075, Ph.[protected]/ [protected] / [protected]; email - [protected]@globalcargopackers.com and website is www.globalcargopackers.com / Concerned person - Mr. Shekhar. I had booked them for shifting my luggage via consignment no. 94 (for household used goods) and no. 97 (for car - Chevrolet Beat) from Delhi to Pune on 5th April 2013, with an assurance that it would reach Pune by 11th April 2013. However, these people are not giving me the correct status since the 11th. They have been delaying the delivery, and are not even answering our calls. The latest status that I get to hear today morning is that the luggage has been in Mumbai for last 2 days and would start moving from Mumbai only today and would reach me tomorrow, which I am again not sure of, since they have been giving such replies since the 11th. Also, as for the car, the Pune official of the company says that he has no idea where it is at present. The status that they gave about the consignment reaching me tomorrow was only for the other luggage. This agency is not giving a proper response to us and has caused us a lot of trouble. They are not taking our calls. Request your immediate attention and help, as I have shifted to Pune alone, and do not have any luggage on me. Was this information helpful? | |||

There was a need to shift my household goods from Delhi to Chennai, Global cargo packers movers quoted me around Rs48000 and the packing which they did was very professional and the goods were delivered within 9 days . while shifting they have damaged my Refrigerator but it was insured so they will repair it within two to three days

The company, after a long delay provided me the household goods on 15th, and insisted that I make the balance payment of Rs.[protected] was already paid in advance). I denied since I had not yet received my Car. However they threatened that they would take back my luggage if I didnt pay. I paid the balance in order to avoid any hassle since I was alone handling them. And since then I have been following up with them for my car.
They had erroneously put my car in a trailor going to some other city, and then some such weird responses kept coming from them. Till date my car has not yet reached me. Yesterday I got a call saying car is in Pune - Chinwad area tata plant. And now, he is bullying me and saying that he wont deliver the car at home. HE is asking me to go there in the outskirts industrial area and take it myself, and on TOP OF IT, HE IS ASKING ME FOR RS. 5000 EXTRA. ONLY THEN WILL HE RELEASE MY CAR. THIS IS DESPITE MAKING HIM THE ENTIRE PAYMENT OF[protected] ADVANCE + 5000 BALANCE WHICH THEY TOOK FROM ME WHILE DELIVERING HOUSEHOLD GOODS).
I AM SOMEHOW ARRANGING A DRIVER TO BE SENT, BUT I HAVE FACED A LOT OF TROUBLE IN FOLLOWING UP AND THE DELAY THEY HAVE DONE IS WHAT YOU CAN ALREADY SEE. I WAS PROMISED DELIVERY ON 11TH. MY ASSET WORTH 4.5 LACS IS STUCK WITH THEM AND I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM YOU. EVEN IF I PAY 5000 TO RELEASE MY CAR, I WANT AN IMMEDIATE ACTION TO BE TAKEN ON THEM FOR BLACKLISTING THIS ENTITY, AND I ALSO NEED MY MONEY BACK. RIGHT NOW SINCE I AM ALONE HERE IN PUNE, I HAVE NO RESORT BUT TO PAY EXTRA AND RELEASE MY CAR.
I HAD EXPECTED A STRICT ACTION AGAINST THEM FROM YOU, HOWEVER IT IS SAD THAT I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE. I WILL GO FOR A POLICE COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM. HOW CAN HE OUTRIGHTLY ASK FOR MORE MONEY DESPITE HAVING FINALIZED THE CONTRACT AT 14000, AND AFTER DELAYING AND PESTERING US SO MUCH. JUST BECAUSE HE HAS THE CUSTODY OF MY ASSET WITH HIM, HE CANNOT TAKE UNDUE ADVANTAGE.
PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE AN ACTION TO BLACKLIST THIS ENTITY SO THAT THEY DONT PESTER ANY OTHER CUSTOMERS IN FUTURE. ALSO PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK, IN CASE THEY ASK FOR IT WHILE I GET MY CAR RELEASED TODAY. A PACKERS AND MOVERS CONTRACT IS FOR DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY, AND YET I WOULD HAVE TO GO FETCH MY CAR FROM THEIR OUTLET IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA WHICH IS ABOUT 25-30 KMS AWAY, SINCE THEY HAVE OUTRIGHTLY DENIED SAYING THAT THEY DONT HAVE ANY PERSON WHO COULD DELIVER THE CAR.
ALSO, I AM YET NOT SURE ABT THE CONDITION OF THE CAR SINCE IT HAS BEEN WITH THEM SINCE THE 5TH APRIL.
