[Resolved]  Haier India Deep Freezer — No RESPONSE

The following is the complaint filed with HAIER INDIA, BUT UNTIL TODAY HAIER INDIA HAS NOT CONSIDERED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BE AN IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE.

After days of constant follow up, the Management of Haier India had promised to replace the equipment by giving the new equipment.

But until today such a promise is merely a wind blown out of the tongue.

Now they have started giving excuses stating that there is no availability of stock thereby using the age old technique of TKM (Time Killing Management).

Thus as my Warranty period is getting closer and closer, these shrewd craftsmen will use it for their own benefit, thereby not fulfillment of their false promise.

If this Consumer forum really works, I think I will get the replacement immediately without much delay.

Consumer complaint No.PUN[protected]
I refer to my earlier complaint filed for the deep fridger that was duly attended by Haier India by giving new replacement.

For almost two months the deep fridger was taken to Haier India factory and was brought back to the site.

However the deep fridger is still giving the same problem and almost Ice-cream Rupees 7000/- was found melted.

I once again re-complained to the customer care and found that the earlier staff had left the organization.

Since the new staff does not know the earlier stories they did not pay any heed to giving a new deep fridger as the old deep fridger is still under warranty and has gone beyond repairs for the shoddy work done by some of their technicians.

When the lower staff did not respond to my call, I called up Mr. Upadhyay [protected] for giving special attention by providing him all the necessary details of complaint no.

However he was expert in dodging my phone call by disconnecting the line.

Such is the poorest of poor service of Haier India who are good at playing dodge balls in this "Great Jumbo Haier Circus"



And what is my mistake "I BOUGHT THIS DEEP FRIDGE BY PAYING THE COMPLETE PRICE AND HAVE SUFFERED LOSSES TO THE TUNE OF RUPEES 14000 + THE EQUIPMENT COST+ MENTAL FRUSTRATION"


And now some of their technicians had attended by merely taking the copy of the invoice which I had given them on several occasions.

Please help in getting justice.

Dear Sir,


I had purchased 3 nos deep fridge from Haier India Ltd. on April 2009, with a warranty period of 2 years.

From the day of purchase I had faced one or the other problem of cooling with the deep fridge and as a result most of the time the deep fridge was not working wherein time to time the complaint was lodged with the Haier India Delhi.

Every time there has been a standard reply that our technician would be visiting soon and would get your problem resolved.

Now looking at the latest complaint which was lodged on 15th May 2010 (Complaint no. PUN[protected], when I was on a family tour to Goa, the deep fridge was with my client.

The problem regarding this was that the Compressor was to be replaced. In view of this I had given the call to Pune office (Tel. No.[protected]) and I was asked to produced the duplicate copy of the original invoice .

Since I was in Goa I told them if you get the problem resolved, I will submit this duplicate copy to them on my return to Pune.

The lady agreed to this, but to my frustration the deep fridge was not repaired until my return after 4 days on 21st May 2010.

On my arrival I had submitted the duplicate copy to them. On which the first opening batsman (the technician) visited the place named Francis and saw that the compressor was not working and said that he will come the next day to get this resolved.

When I called him up he said that he was out and therefore I have to call up the Pune office to get the second technician.

Then the second batsmen arrived on the scene after playing around, he said that this problem could not be resolved at his end therefore I had to look for another source.

Then after constant follow up with the Pune office, it was told to me that since they do not have the compressor I was told to contact Mamta (Tel. No.[protected]), very politely this new lady told me that she understood my problem and would get the problem resolved immediately. Then after constant follow up I was given another no. of Mr. Anant Narayan (Tel. [protected]) who was at a senior post.

After constant follow up with him he referred the name of the technician Mr. Atul , who had also played some time killing tactics, and as a result my deep fridge is under the same condition where the warranty period of 2 years is lost with this kind of TIME KILLING MANAGEMENT (Tkm)

Apart from the above I have suffered a huge business loss and I expect the company should pay this compensation immediately, other wise I expect that this deep fridge should be replaced and return the amount that I have paid to the company.

This is not the kind of service one expects and do business.

Please look into the matter.

My friend was also suffering from this problem. He had purchased freeze in Nov 2010 . It started giving the trouble from the very second day.

Then my friend was firstly reported to the Dealer, he asked me to get the machine to the shop so that their engineers can test primarily, else they will call to the customer care.

It is nonsense repose that we carry a huge machine again and again to the service center. Then i suggested to register the complaint online at http://www.consumer-voice.org/legal-advise.aspx

We both are surprised to see the response with in three days. His problem has been heard and he got the call from the company.
