[Resolved]  Mail Today Newspaper — Harassment by Mail Today

I had almost the same fate except that I promptly received the gift but never saw the issue of Mail Today. Is this some kind of scam? They had promised a chance to win Great Prizes! - Luxury Car or VAIO Laptop or iPod. Wonder who the lucky recipient of the luxury items were!

Would like to receive an acknowledge to this complaint from MAIL TODAY.

I had subscribed to Mail Today in Nov.08 and had given them a cheque of Rs. 499/- wide cheque number 389866 dt. 14/11/08 drawn on SBI.

Till date i haven't received any coupons for the newspaper and neither the gift which they had promised.

After repeated verbal complaints, they told that it will take time. I want to know when there is already a lapse of 30 days, how many days they required to deliver the gifts and paper to us.
Would like to receive an acknowledge to this complaint from MAIL TODAY.

dear sir/madam. i have subscribed to mail today by paying rs. 999/- on jan. my old sub. no. is MTNP 128671, which expires on march 22, 2009, even then i am advised 2 do the renewal but no confirmation. i also saw add in ur daily & paid rs. 2499/- 4 20 cds i was also told 2 get gift voucher of rs. 5000/- but it does not work as jewellries 0f $465/- & more & also i have no confirmation of my subscription. plz call me at [protected], [protected]

I also subscribed mail today for 999 against coupon of reebok shoes which have specially been made in seconds quality for Mail today subscribers. The supply of mail today is very irregular unless the newspaper vendor is selling elsewhere. The coupon also was given to us despite several reminders in two months. Pathetic customer recovery.

This coupon system after taking the money in advance really do not work. My paper boy had taken the whole book for the year at a time in the month of may '08. Feb 1 he has stopped giving paper. The newspaper boy keeps changing. I am glad I did not subscribe for the two year plan. Reebok is made in Gurgaon.

Yes...I do agree with you all bcoz I am the fresh and new victim of MAIL TODAY New Paper's cheating act. I still can not believe like such well reputated banner (INDIA Group) can cheat to its valuable customer. ;)

I had booked Mail Today Newspaper on 20th Jan09 and was told to get my kit in next 15days...and now till day I did not get anything. Despite of my plenty follow-up with Customer care team is not able to give me proper reason in delay. Today evening I blasted on one of its team leader and he requested and promised me that they would be able to deliver the kit max till 10th Feb09 Tuesday.

Hope Mail Today will keep their own words on said date..otherwise should be ready for _______________.

I've booked mail today subscription for two years by paying Rs.999/- thru my credit card on 21-01-09 vide my booking ID no.[protected]. After waiting for a month I've approached their customer care center & inquired about my coupons. As per them it will coming within a week. After waiting I've lodged the complain on 25-02-09 vide complain No.[protected], nothing will be happened till date in spite of my several verbal & e-mail communications.

The distribution of MAILTODAY is not as per the reputation of INDIA TODAY GROUP and certainly needs to be improved

I have paid Rs. 999/- through cheque on 27-01-09 for the subscribion mail today for two year + coupon of reebok shoes but till date i have not received any thing, I had complain 4-5 times on your customer care but they say after 2-3 days you will receive the paper, its alredy 2 and half month over. but no service.

I have had exactly the same experience. My cheque was cashed on 31st Dec 2008. To date I have not received the news paper or the free gift. This is despite several emails and phone calls to follow.

I subscribed to Mail Today in Feb 2009 and was given a vocher by your representative. I must have made atleast 200 calls to various REEBOK sales outlets but they always say that the shoe will be available next week, which never materialises. I have also visited various sales out lets with no results.
Are you serious with this scheme or you just took people for a ride? Your scheme end next month. So, our money is gone.
can I expect to get the shoe?

My subscription to MAIL TODAY was renewed in March 2009. I am very happy with the tabloid and enjoy reading it thoroughly. However, due to my wife's sickness, i am not residing at my present address since mid April and my subscription is going waste.
Is it possible to put my subscription on hold and avail it at a future date? Alternatively, can it be sent to my present address?

Got my booking done for Mail Today and gifted with Voucher No.453450 dated 10.01.2009. As explained, the gifted voucher for Reebok Shoes could not be availed during the validity period. Request to extend it for some more time. A confirmation to the extension of time may be sent at the above address.
