I have hdfc credit card 4346 7720 0530 5478 , which i was using long back & had made payment.

But in Sept 09 i got call from your side stating that just pay the min amount of Rs.1400/- & give a written application for settling the card with current outstanding. Receipt no 18698017 dtd 10/09/09 collected by authorised collection agency HEM. the payment & letter i had handed over to Mr Vivek Bansode and told we will close the card, same this happened in Oct 09 , bank employee called up & said same that again you pay the min amount due & we will close the card.
I got no call from your side in november directly i am getting call in month end of Dec 09 by Prakash Telecaller sitting at Cybernex Swargate branch, that you have to pay again min due, i told him i have already applied for settlement what has happened with the same, he said you first pay this amount then we will release the account & then only we can do settlement.
Every time i am attending there call & asking for lesser amount of settlement I personally had gone to your branch at cybernex Swargate. I met Arpana choudhary , even after telling her that i am behind this closure of card since 6 months ,that time the outstanding was 18000/-. & also shown her the written application given to bank employee with the receipt no, then also she is not agreeing
I gave the application with an acknowledgement copy, I was waiting for the offer since then, but getting no reverts, only in month end i use to get calls from collection wherein they told you pay a minimum amount & then they will close, i was in impression that the card will be closed, but since sept every month i am getting calls, when i am asking about my application your employees are not even concern about the application given.

Is it my fault that i personally handed over the application to your employee as i have intension of paying the amount due. But since 6 months i am getting no response
Instead of giving the request to your representative in advance then also they are not even bother about the closure.

And suddenly your people call up in month end & tell an amount for closure which is not even possible, when i was ready to close the card before 6 months, your people didnt even have a courtesy to honor the application. Due to your people's miscommunication , I have to bear the interest for 6 months. You tell me in any banking sector if customer is directly approaching your representative by mode of phone, walking in branch or dropping a request, the request is not processed.

does it takes six months to honour the request - written application, wherein your person has duly signed the application as accepted. I have the copy of it.

I have the copy of the letter issued on 10 th sept 09 along with receipt.
Again i gave application on 30/12/09 receipt no 20214412 Rs. 1600/- to Roshan . Person name prakash said he will settlement offer on 1st Jan 10, i received no calls, on 23rd Jan 10 i m getting a call from a lady she said i have to pay Rs 28000 against settlement.

I was shocked coz even after paying every time, still the due is Rs.28000/-

Ms Khan was following up with me in feb 10 regarding my card settlement. She has communicated me the settlement offer of Rs 26500/- in 5 installments.

But i am unable to pay as I am totally drenched in debts due to my other obligations , wherein i dont want to give you false commitment of payments, I am arranging some amount but it is not upto your settlement amount.

Ms Khan had given me the option of giving PDC but to tell you frankly i dont have sufficient balance in my account wherein i can honour your PDC.
I dont want to default by giving false commitment to you & Ms Khan. I have no problem in giving you cheques, but what is the use if there is no balance in that account.

I also explained this condition to Ms Khan. I am ready to pay Rs 26500/- with installment of Rs. 1000/- per month.

They are not accepting my request so i asked them to do a legal case against me as i am unable to pay any more amount they are not even ready for that

LIEN OF FIXED DEPOSIT - HDFC Bank Credit Card

I AM USING HDFC BANK GOLD CREDIT CARD SINCE 2003, IN THE YEAR 2008 BANK HAD LIENED RS 11, OOO APPROX FROM MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT AT HDFC BANK, AND TO MY UTMOST SURPRISE IN THIS MONTH BANK HAD LIENED MY FIXED DEPOSIT AMOUNTING RS 70000/- WHAT TO DO??

Sir,
I have applied for closure and surrender of my Credit Card (No. 4346779000444467) from HDFC Bank, Shillong Branch on 10.9.2010 and removal of Lien from Fixed Deposit (FD No. 05484470007493) against which the Credit Card had been issued so that I can withdraw my FD. When contacted the HDFC Bank Customer Care on 15.9.2010, I was told that I can withdraw my FD on 17.9.2010. Again, when I called the Customer Care on 17.9.2010, I was again told by the Customer executive that it will be done by 20.9.2010 (Monday). Inspite of my request to them to do it early as I need cash urgently, still the HDFC Credit Card Department don’t bother to understand my financial difficulties and to remove the lien from the FD so that I can withdraw the cash.
This is purely a harassment to me and I am really frustrated and if the HDFC Bank still don’t want to allow me to surrender the credit card and withdrawal of my FD, I will have no option but to complaint the matter of the case to Banking Ombudsman and also to seek legal option.

Sub : Application for Credit Card No. 4346-7810-1307-5924 till date not closing.

Dear Madam / Sir,

My Credit Card No. 4346-7810-1307-5924 which is settled in the month 01/12/2011 of Rs.6065/- through you HDFC Pune I have give the cheque to your officaial person and it has been honoured by the bank. But again HDFC (Bank) send me balance amount why?

I complain Pune (Office) they told me your Date of Birth is not correct as per our record so we cant give you any reply. I requested them that according to my Pan card and all documents my birthdate the same as ihave told you but no response. I have received a satement for a amount of Rs 973 . 00 in which they have charged a late fee of Rs. 350 =00

So please check the detail and close the account of balance as early as possible.

 Check the payment of December 2011 Which is paid
