Hi,
I tried withdrawing money from the HDFC ATM at Bangalore (Coles Park Branch) today. I did so with my Vijaya Bank Debit Card. There was an error displayed on the screen when I tried withdrawing money " Processing Temporarily Suspended".I tried withdrawing around Rs7000 twice and both times got the same error. But on checking my balance Rs.14000 had been deducted even though I did not collect any money. Could you please help me out...

Withdrawal with ATM card — Not able to withdraw

My slary was depoisted on 5th June 2008, which shows as with ledger balance and not available for withdrawal.
How can this be possible?

This can be possible. As the bank has got details of the amount and they have send the amount for clearance if your salary comes through check.

Again on 29th Aug 2008, they debited my account with Rs.1, 500 with out my notice.

HDFC Bank — Amount get deducted without receiving the cash from ATM,

This is for your kind information that I am having a salary account from HDFC Bank, i was tried to withdraw cash of 2000/- from HDFC Bank ATM Ambattur branch five days back, but i haven't received the amount from ATM, but when i checked the next time the amount got deducted from my account, The same day itself i made a complaint to HDFC Bank, they given complaint no as reference and told me that it will be resolved within 48 hours, But today is the fifth day after making complaint its more than 100 hours, patiently i called them again for getting help about this matter, now they were saying that it will take 11 working days. I am scared and wondered is this the service they are giving to the customers. when there is any mistake from our customer end they will charge huge interests and if the same thing happening from the bank end, they are simply delaying the time as they require. This is not fair enough from the banking sectors. If a person is in emergeny and he is not having money in this kind of worst situations, what can he do... he need to wait for 11 days.. Please take necessary actions against this.. still i am waiting for the banks response.

ICICI — Withdraw money has not been collecting while generating ATM.

I have withdrawn my money from ATM at 8.17 pm on Nov 11th, 08 at Santhome ATM center. While generating money my bag has felt down i tried pick my bag at the time the withdrawn money has dragged by machine so i unable to collect my money.

I made complaint to ICICI bank my complaint number is 84636568.

salary acount — Withdrawal of money without source

My total account bal was Rs.14996 as on[protected] suddenly I got a message to my mobile about the withdraw of Rs.14900 at 8:28 am I have my debit card with me in my pocket I don't use any online transactions and I don't have any credit card. I filed a case in police station and customer service too still no replay. This is my salary account. Mobile: [protected].

Standard Chartered Bank — Debit from Account but still not credited in my account.

On the 02 Feb 2009 i swiped my Standard Chartered bank debit card with ICICI Bank for the Cash Withdrawl INR Rs. 3500/-. Though the transaction was not happened but amount has been deducted from my account. When contacted the phone banking they said require more 60days for resolve this issue, This amount deducted from My sallary..I need money for Installments & other Home need requirements.

HDFC Bank — Non Issue of ATM Debit Card

I have been approached by the Branch Manager for conversion of my normal Debit card in to Gold Debit card. I was informed about the annual charges of Rs.500 and the delivery of new card will take 7 days.

After submission of my application, my old debit card got blocked and I got message that a new card has been delivered through Express IT courier.

It was more than 20 days and I am yet to receive my new card. I made several calls to HDFC helpdesk (they dont even have toll free number, we have to make local call and stay on line and pay for their IVR messages and advertisements), but no one cared about my complaint.

I called the west marredpally brach and the person whom I spoke was rude and asked me to visit the branch (I made 2 visits much before this call on same request) and they cant entertain any phone service.

I am totally disappointed with the customer service of HDFC and truly surprised to see such a poor response from a largest bank.

HDFC Bank ATM Machine — Withdrawal of Money from ATM

Dear Sir

I am having saving account in Axis Bank Ltd., Gandhidham-Gujarat Branch & Bank issued me Debit cum ATM Card which is master Card. On date 04.04.2009 18.48 hours I went ot HDFC Bank, Oslo Circle, Gandhidham ATM Machine to withdraw money from my said account through said Debit card, but due to failure of ATM Machine I didn't received money of Rs.7000/- as I request, and message shown in ATM Machine is your transaction time out. When I Check my account on 06.06.2009 it shows Rs.7000/- Cash withdrawal from the same ATM Machine on the same dated, I Complain to Axis bank officers but they told me that this probleme solve within 45 days. My complain is that amt. is my salary amt. and I need this money for my house expense, how can i surviev without my own money which I didn't get due to ATM Machine fault.

Please do something for above metter for me.

I went to withdraw Rs 10, 000 from ICICI bank CMH Road Banglore ATM counter, the total amount which i received from the ATM machine was of Rs 9, 600. The amount which was delivered to me was 500x18=9000 and 100x6=600 total of 9600 instead of 10, 000, deficit of Rs 400.
Observertion: In between the 500 Rs note there was one 100 Rs note and then at the end there were 5 hunderd Rs note.

I have already complain to customer care of ICICI Bank and the complain number is[protected].

ICICI Bank — Less amount withdraw

I used Axis bank ATM to withdraw money from ICICI Bank Debit Card on May 24, 2009 at 21:10. I requested for Rs. 25, 000 but ATM disbursed 15, 500. I am chasing ICICI bank for this since one month to refund 9500 but no result. Now i do not see any option to get my money back. I have physical witness who are there at the time with me. Please advise if some action can be taken agianst them.

I am really scared as using ATM is very unsafe as there is no cross verfication. Bank is only trusting machine records.

this is inform that a sum of Rs 7000 was deducted from my account when i attempted a transaction {withdrawal of Rs 7000 }from an HDFC ATM, PATNA...but the response was "UNABLE TO CONDUCT TRANSACTION"... i performed the transaction on 12th JUNE 2009...

Salary savings Account — cash deposited in ATM not reflecting in my account.

This is RAM CHANDRA PAL, is your customer and i am accessing my salary savings account in dalhousi square branch, kolkata. I had deposited 6000 ruppees in the same branch ATM in the evening near about after 4.30 pm on 30th july, 2009.My account no.is-[protected].

Standard chartered Bank/HDFC Bank — Bank ATM shows transaction of 10000 but money has not been recieved by me

I intended to make a withdrawal of Rs. 10000 at HDFC bank ATM on 1st August 2009 in Jaipur. My account is of Standard chartered Bank. Money did not come out of the machine but my account has been deducted by Rs. 10000. I made a complaint to Standard chartered Bank but still my 10000 is not back to my account. Bank says there was a server problem and it may take 12 days.

I am in a deep trouble what should I do what is my fault. My cheques are due for clearance from this account.

HDFC Bank — atm cash problem

Dear Sir,
I am an HDFC account holder and my account number is [protected]/ branch Tirupur.I tried to withdraw an amount of Rs, 20, 000 from your ATM ATTACHED TO YOUR KUMARAN ROAD BRANCH on 17th june 2009,
Atually the amount (20, 000)was debited from my account but the ATM machine did not dispense any cash.
I had registered acomplaint immediately to the call centre and I was given the reference number (CHN030372),
I was told that this problem would be solved immediately but there was no action taken.After 15 days I had to call again for the same reason and I was given the new reference number(CHN033343).
It is one month now and there is no response still.I ve also given the filled cash back form last month .
This is not the service standard expected from a corporate Bank.This issue can get serious as you have caused me a lot of inconvenience.
Request your kindself to solve this issue as soon as posible.

Dear Sir,
On 30 june 09 at 4.00 pm evening time, I had tried to withdraw Rs 3000 and Rs 6000 from IDBI bank ATM, Located at infront of Shivaji Statchu, panjarapoala, malegaon but both time I got the messege " Transaction denied dut to network problem".& On 17 tn july 09 at 5.00 pm evening time, I had tried to withdraw Rs 5000 from SBI bank ATM, Located at SBI Corner, Camp road malegaon but I got the messege " Transaction denied dut to network problem".& all of the time i have didn't recive amount.
But when I have taken the mini statement total Rs 3000 and Rs 6000 and Rs 5000 was deducted from my a/c.That means total Rs 14000/- was deducted from my a/c without having money in my hand.
I am the a/c holder of HDFC Bank A/C number -[protected].My complaint number is NUM 066325 and NUM066328 and NUM066340.Nobody from HDFC Bank have yet responded to me .

HDFC — amount not recieved from the atm

On August 4th,2009 I went to the HDFC bank ATM at Valencia,Mangalore to withdraw cash using my Syndicate Bank Debit card but after entering all the details for withdrawing an amount of Rs.200, the same was not received from the ATM machine. After going through the balance, the amount was deducted from the account. Till now i did not receive it. The same thing happened again on September 8th,2009 while withdrawing an amount of Rs.200 at the same branch. Please see into this issue and kindly help me out.

I used my hdfc debit card in canara bank atm at arekere(bangalore) I tried to withdraw 700/- rupees. I got the transcation bill mentioned that "TRANSCATION DECLINED" "UNABLE TO PROCESS".It hapened on 01.09.09...And when i checked my balance its been dedected from my a/c.I went to canara bank arekere branch and met branch manager and asked about the issue.That gentleman told me that canara bank ATMs are being outsourced so canara bank is not responsible for any issue happens with the ATM..And he added this issue is happening from the last APRIL and he can't help me . (I dont understand why they kept their name in the ATM untill they are not responsible).I faced this difficulty in canara ATM only from other ATM I got the money on the same day . I don't know in which bank i need to go to get the solution

This is to inform you that a transaction was made at Spencer's Hyper(Resapuvanipalem)Vizag outlet on 01.11.2009, I tried to pay through my Debit Card (No.[protected]). the Spencer shop cashier tried for make the billing for amount of Rs.3889/-, instead of Rs.3971/- again he tried for correct amt. of Rs.3971/-. However it was debited two times, actual billing amt. is Rs.3971/- but they done wrong process through my Debit Card.

According to their Cash settelment reports says only one amount had credited i.e. Rs.3971/-.

In view of the above it is requested that the above said Amt.Rs.3889/- be credited into my account.

I went to SBI ATM @ Wilson garden Bangalore and tried to with draw 10000 Rs. but it came as un able to process but the amount is debited my account on 01st November 2009.

The same i raised the complaint with HDFC bank phone banking and complaint No:BAN042177 on 02/11/09. but still i dont get proper response, kindly help me.

On 01.Dec.2009. My account of HDFC was debited for INR 10000/- and i have not received the money from ATM machine.

Complaint has been registered with HDFC bank and they informed they can give any feedback only after 12 days.

atm card — Error in Balance after withdrawal

Dear Sir

Reference my Savings Bank Account [protected] with ONGC ONSHORE TERM COP URAN branch of SBI.
1. Withdrawn RS 20000 at 2216 hrs on 11/30/09 from ATM ID S1AN00030034 Mount Marry
Bandra West vide TXN No. 6378.
2. Withdrawn Rs 6000 again at 2218 hrs from same ATM on same date 11/30/09
Balance shown was not correct vide TXN No. 6379.
3. Took mini statement ( TXN No. 6380) which showed two erroneous entries

a) Withdrawal entries for Rs 20000 shown twice in place of actual withdrawal once only.

b) Date of withdrawal of Rs 6000 shown as 12/01/09 in place of actual 11/30/09.

Hence the difference in balance amount which was less by Rs 20000 informed my bank mentioned above on 12/01/09 in written and copies of ATM slips and requests to do the correction by crediting Rs 20000 back to my account at the earliest.

Complaint was lodged on internet site Customer Services of State Bank of India with ticket no.448830 still status pending till date.

Till date my problem is not solved. Request for help.

On 08/01/10 at 16:23 I have withdrawn amount of Rs. 5300/- from Oriental Bank STM Medical College Haldwani. Due to delay in collection of Money the amount of Rs. 5300/- (Five thousand three hundred only) has been taken back by the ATM machine, having ATM ID NA069011 and TXN no. 3448.

Again second time I have withdrawn Rs. 5300/- at time 16:26 on the same day having TXN No. 3450. This second time amount, I have collected.

I have complained by telephone to the customer care regarding to the problem. On 09/ 01/10. The Complaint Number is 22191018.

I complained and enquired from the Oriental Bank regarding to the same problem, after enquiry of the ATM amount balance, they found the complaint is correct and they suggested me to complaint to the HDFC bank, then only my amount of Rs. 5300/- (Five thousand three hundred only) will be transferred to my salary account number [protected].

Please verify the problem as soon as possible and do needful. Your kind help and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

Note : I wish to bring to your notice a serious issue with ATM.

I am HDFC account holder and my A/c No. is [protected] with( CC-31, COMMERCIAL COMPLEX, NARAINA IND AREA, PHASE I ... New Delhi ) branch. I used my HDFC debit card to withdraw Rs. 7000/- from CITI Bank ATM, ( F-12, Kalkaji, New Delhi -19 ) on 9th Feb, 2010. A bad exprience i have gathered. The ATM machine did not dispence any cash and thus i have not received any cash from CITI Bank ATM. But my account is showing that Rs.7000/- has been debited from my Account.
I have complained to my HDFC branch with proper documentation i, e transaction slip etc. but branch has not still initiated about the matter in my favour.Citi Banlk is not responding about this matter.
I need money immediately as it my salary money and i am out of cash right now.
So, i requested you to please take this letter seriously and do my need. I will be very thankfull to you for this.

HDFC Bank — ATM PROBLEM

Dear Sir,
Myself Rajpal Umesh working with Billabong High International School as an admin personnel. Our school is having a big setup of salary accounts as well as school accounts with HDFC bank.
On 8.2.2010 at 18:19 I visited HDFC ATM at Sangam Cross Road, Baroda. I had given a command to withdraw 3200/- but received Rs.2700/- only. As an immediate action I called the security guard and told him about the problem. Then at that time only without coming out from the ATM I lodged a complaint about it vide complaint no. AHD 017785 and also took the signature of security guard. Copy attached for your ready reference.
After few days I got a call from service center mentioning that they cannot repay me my 500 Rs. which i got less in the ATM and after mentioning about my taking signature from the security guard, they told me to contact the local office.
When I reached local HDFC main branch, Alkapuri there was noone, neither the coordinator nor the manager. I spoke to Mr. Jaimin assistant to ATM coordinator Niraj.
After meeting Jaimin, I called again in the bank and spoke to Niraj 3 times. After all I was compelled to speak to the Manager.
I am sorry to say the manager replied "THE SECURITY GUARD IS ONLY TO SEE THAT NOONE IS TAKING AWAY ATM MACHINE" and we cannot go by his words.

saving account — Cash Twice withdraw from my A/c

i am pravin kumar, my a/c no-[protected], it is my salary a/c in HDFC bank, last saturday on 03-jul-10 i went to an hdfc bank atm at Netaji Subhash place, i wanted to withdrawn 1500rs, when i entered the amount and press ok to withdrawl amount, the machine did not give money, again in the same atm there was a another machine, from it withdrawn 1500rs it gave me amount, but i was socked when i got my balance slip, it was showing 3000rs withdrawn, i ask to the gaurd what is this? he replyed it will be debited in your a/c by monday, but it has not been debited, 4-5 times 1 called on helpline no-[protected], but i could be connected to the customer care officer, please help me in this problem, this is high time of atm machine problem,

HDFC Bank — amount debited without access

I am an HDFC bank customer, i have an salary account with HDFC bank..

on 22 July, 10,000 rupees were debited from my account and i never used my card and has not swiped my card anywhere, then how come the card shows 10,000 rupees withdrawn from the ATM.

this is a major mistake from HDFC side.

Canara Bank — less cash came out

I with drew Rs 15000./on 4 Aug 2010 from canara bank ATM located in SHANKER Nagar branch new delhi 110051,but I was surprised to see that one note of Rs 100 came out along with Rs 500 notes ,so in all 28 notes of Rs 500 came out and 6 notes of Rs 100 came out ,totalling Rs 14600.
I had made a complaint in the branch also at the very moment.they called on phone the person from whom they are not outsourcing the filling of ATMS.he told that remaing Rs 400/ will be reaching ,in a day or two,but 15 days have past there is no response from either the SHANKER NAGAR branch or the outsourced people
So Sir please look into the matter and try to get me the remaining Rs 400 /.

Generally people shout loud when there is a problem, When it is resolved, they don't take pain to clean up the things. A Written complaint with the concerned bank Authorities is all needed providing all the details of the transaction for their purusal.

This is an occassional technical problem and often gets reconsiled when the bank makes a count against debit entries and cash dispersal.

Using another bank's ATMs makes the issue more complex to resolve but in which case the complaint should be promptly filed with both the bank authorities and followed up.

If its not been effected, or no action is taken in reasonable time, an FIR with Police should help.

I complained and enquired from the tamilnadu mech bank regarding to the same problem, after enquiry of the ATM amount balance, they found the complaint is correct and they suggested me to complaint to the HDFC bank, then only my amount of Rs. 100000/- (Ten thousand only)

I have open a saving bank account in HDFC Indore from Rs.11, 000 in vijay nagar branch.As per the executive there will be no deduction in charges.But when i have received the card.There is deduction of Rs. 551.This is the case of misselling.He told me about normal card .but i have received platinum card.But now i want my money back.

Hello,

I tried to withdraw Rs 10000/- from the HDFC bank ATM (Branch near Metro Station, Indira Nagar CMH Road, Bangalore), using a Standard Chartered Bank Debit Card.
I tried one of their 6 machines and tried to withdraw Rs 10000/- twice. On both occasions, I didnt get any responce and a blue screen staring at me. (It neither told me to withdraw the cash or nothing).
On the first attempt, I got a 'your transaction timed out' message.
On the second attempt, I neither got any message nor cash. But I got a message that my account is debited with a ATM cash withdrawal of Rs 10000/- from my bank.
Desparate, I told the security guy that that ATM is not working (nobody is using it before I came into their 6 ATMs). He told me that its working and asked me to try another machine.
I tried another ATM machine and was able to withdraw Rs 10000/-.
In the meantime, a girl was able to withdraw some money from the non-functioning ATM that tried earlier, I told the security guy that I will try a withdrawal of Rs 1000/- on the same machine that is not functioning earlier. to my surprise, I was able to get Rs 1000/-

I dont know whether we are living in a pre-historic age or in 21st century tech age, but this goes beyond any comedy or tragedy for people like me.

The security guy advised me to complain to the bank. But frankly, none of the customer care/customer redressal processes of any Indian Banks are that use friendly.

But I am still trying to get this resolved.

    Myself Sylvester Pathol was working with Hdfc standard life under Kelly services ltd(third party of Hdfc standard life)employee code 58340.on 30th june 08 there was some abusing conversion with my boss regarding month end logins.My boss was literally using some abusive and bad languages and immediately told me to resign when i told him to stop using it.However i resigned on the same date but at time i was told that i m liable for my full and final settlement in august month both from my boss and kelly services,has i enquired in august they told me that has i not given any notice period i m not liable for the settlement,which is ridicolous as that time i was not told about this

    So pls look into the matter and resolve the issue

        i m gaurav ,i m working with EXL services pvt ltd ,sec 58 noida 203004.and i ve my salary a/c with hdfc bank noida and on 31-08-09 my salary credited to my salary a/c [protected] and my company has blocked my a/c and i met with an accident on 6th august and i ve shown them my fractured leg as well and once i was trying to withdraw my amount from hdfc bank but customer care of hdfc told that that account is blocked by exl (my company).i think company can only stop salary but hdfc bank has blocked my entire amount .and in times of need i was unable to withdraw my amount as well.and i have suffered a lot of mental stress ,being fracture in one leg going to ATM and not getting any resolution.so i want to go legal against EXL services a-98 sec 58 noida as well as HDFC BANK against this thing.

          I Ramesh Chander Wadhwa partener of M/S J.S.R. Enterprises applied for a Dropline Over draft limit of 1.5crore in hdfc bank(rajouri garden J-block branch) against my resident property through the sales manager mr Saurabh Arora..
          the same application was been sanctioned by you for only 1crore in which saurabh(hdfc Employee)communicated to me that we'll have to pay only Rs 80000 + 7246 = 87246 Rs per month till 120 months towards the repayment of dropline O/D limit of rs 1 crore..He also commited to me that they will further ebhance my limit for Rs 50lacs more as soon as the financials of finanacial year 2008-09 will get audited. He did not communicated to me that the amount of rs 87426 will comprise only principal amount and i have to pay the interest separately..he has taken the signature on the sanction letter,agreement and pdc with the benefit that he is shorting the current Emi(of citi financial + hsbc) from app. Rs132000 to rs 87246 and also collected the cheque of rs 55151 towards processing fee n rs4649 against insurance of the property, for which he told me they will bank the cheque of processing fees and insurance at the time while handing over the cheque in favour of citi financial with the prior information. but when i came to know that i have to pay rs 1 lac app. extra towards interest too,i communicated to mr saurabh arora n Mr govind l sharma(head of rajouri branch0 as well n asked to withraw this application at once as i don't want to bank transfer my existing loans of citi financial and hsbc to you..but till then hdfc has already debited the checque of rs 55151 and 4649 from my accountwithout any prior information to me..now after reminiding then hundred of times they are denying to return back the processing fees n the insurance charges..all i want all of you to know is that hdfc has deliberately conned me coz they knew by disclosing all the clauses in this case the customer will simply reject the offer coz the customer is already paying 132000 for the current loan..and why would a customer pay more money for the same loan..n they hid the most important point of the loan agreement n constantly forced me to take the loan..

              Hi,

              As of 08/08/2009, my friend and I went to the HDFC bank to withdraw Rs. 5000. I was extremely sick so I my friend withdrew the money from the machine. When she entered Rs 5000 for the first time, machine said "Incorrect Amount". Again she enter Rs. 5000, the machine dispensed out Rs 5000.

              That day, I was in hurry so I forgot to check the receipt and after 2 days, i.e., on July 10, 2009, when I was checking my account balance through phone banking service, I found Rs.5000.00 is less in the total available balance. Then after verifying the receipt, I found that there is a deduction of two withdrawal of Rs.5000.00 on the same receipt though I have received only Rs.5000.00. But, bank has deducted Rs 10,000 at the place of 5000.

              I thought that it may be the ATM error. So, I gave a written complaint in the same HDFC ( R.K.Puram Sec-4 New Delhi) branch from where I withdrew the money. I have received two calls from your bank representative and they told me that the same transaction was the clear withdrawal. I am not at all ready to accept this statement.

              I have wrote many emails to Grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com but they are not giving any satisfactory answer. Then, I requested them to show me the video that can show me two transaction of 5000. If machine has dispensed me Rs. 5000 twice, there should be a record of two transactions on the video cameras of the bank. However, bank is saying that they can show only faces. I am not understanding what I will do with the face?

              Please help me to get rid of this issue. I have been charged unnecessarily Rs 10,000 though we have got Rs 5000. I shall be very helpful for your support and help in this regard.

                I hold Credit Card No. [protected] of HDFC Bank. I had requested this bank to cancel this card as they were charging huge uncessary amount like late charges, overlimit charges etc. last 12 months they have charged about Rs. 10000/-.

                I had spoken to Mr. Chetan Bakshi and he has confirmed the Bank has given approval on 34000/- approx.

                I want a copy of the approval mail to see whether it has approved by Chennai Branch.

                Finally I request you to pls. take the matter with the Approval Team once again, as on the limit of 15 Thousand, I have already paid 33 Thousand on behalf of Settelment letter issued in the Month of April-2008 and now in the re-settelment process the Bank Is asking to Pay 34 Thounsand on the current outstanding of Rs. 45725.52

                Do you think it is ok, that on Rs. 15 Thousand Card limit one has to pay 67 thousand in 2 time settlement.

                I also wish to inform you that on 16th Dec. I received a call from your bank regarding that my settelement was approved on a amount of 20 Thousand in 8 Installement, but after asking the person regarding the settelement letter he told me first you have to pay the 1st Installment then the letter get issued. After Consulting Mr. Chetan Bakshi he told me that you request is still not approved by the bank.

                Whats going on in the bank?

                Pls. look into my concern and suggest this type of issue is happening in the Bank.

                Dear Sir,

                Pls. help me:

                My Name is Kapil Sinha and now i was a Ex - Customer of you bank and used your Silver Credit Card No. : [protected] having total payment due of Rs. 41, 763.87/- till 3-Nov-2009 with a Credit Limit of Rs. 15000/-.

                I requested for settlement of above mentioned Credit Card in April-2008 and the payment has to be submitted in 8 Monthly Installment with Amount 25800/- approx. Due to some financial problem i have paid the complete amount on April-2009.

                As per your Agents if you continue the payment after the Max period (Dec-2008) including 1 Month Grace period the settlement will not get invalid.

                On the faith and goodwill with the bank i have paid the complete amount in April-2009.

                Now i received a call in Jun-09 that your settlement was now null and void as you have not paid the amount within the settlement period.

                I requested him (Agent : Mr. AMIT - [protected]) to pls. review my payment history of the above settlement and suggest. He told me that for this i have to take approval from my Chennai Branch (HO) and comeback to you. In continuation i received a call from him on 22nd/23rd Jun and he confirmed me that your request has been approved and for this you have to Pay Rs. 6000/-. I have arranged the money from here and their and paid on 24th Jun, 09.

                He also confirmed me that you will received a Rs. 0/- balance statement in the month of July-09. I the month of July-09 i received the same with my Payment Due not of Rs. 0/- its the actual Balance. I continuously tried his Cell No. more that 15 Days but he was not picked up the Phone.

                Again i received a call from your collection center (Agent : Mr. Nitesh - [protected]) in the month of Aug-09 regarding payment. I told him all the mentioned case history and from him i got one upsetting news that the my above request was rejected by HO because your payment was suppose to be collected before 20th Jun, 09. as request of Mr. Amit was expired on 20th Jun, 09 and i got the confirmation call on 22nd/23rd Jun and Mr. Nitesh Requested me to pay Rs. 1970/- to again sent the request to Chennai Branch (HO) for acceptance. But on 15th/16th Sep, i got the news that your request for settlement is now null and you have to pay the amount of Rs. 39, 034.86/-.

                Today i received a call from your collection agent from[protected] regarding full payment of Rs. 41, 763.87/-.

                Finally one of my friend told me to write all the communication to the Grievance Redressal of HDFC Bank and they will defiantly help / suggest in this case.

                Sir, I belongs from a middle class family and last year i lost my job and due to this my settlement payment got delayed, i have already paid More that Rs. 33, 000/- against the Credit Limit of Rs. 15000/-.

                Your are my last Option against all the concern including Higher Authority.

                Pls. help / suggest me what to do?

                    Hi, sorry to hear about your experience. We will call you and work to address your issues at the earliest.
                    I withdrew Rs.1000 from my HDFC debit care on[protected]. My account seemed to be absolutely fine, now the remaining balance is 4500.00. Today as I went to the ATM to withdraw some money, I saw that all my balance is showing negative and I am not even able to withdraw Rs.100. I have no idea what going on. But will I get my money back if I complaint in any of the HDFC banks branch??

                      This has ref on the subject complaint and pls note tt as per prevailing rule of Indian I.Tax we had submitted Form 16 during the financial year 2007/08 duly signed to the HDFC BANK, Malancha Cinema, Tollygunj, KOlkata 900040 to Mr Satya incharge of personal banking service.
                      With much regret we would like to inform you that we have received a Tax deduction certificate shows an amount has been deducted which they refd only for 3 months.

                        Dear Sir,

                        My husband lost his job due to this recession period. We have a credit card from HDFC bank, whose payment of amount 23000, is due to pay. We somehow managed to collect 12k, and we requested them to wait for a while. But they are literally harassing my husband. Some recovery agents call up and continuously ask him to pay the money, inspite of explaining them all the situation. Now they have started harassing me as well. They call up any time and ask me to pay, and get money from your office and all. I informed them not to call on my number, when I am in office, but they are not ready to listen. They even called up our emergency contact number, my sister in law, who is a renowned scientist and started harassing her. They even told her that ask your brother to pay or else we will send the recovery agents to your place (sister-in-laws) place.

                        what should I do??? please help us to overcome this situation.

                        Dear Sir or Madam,
                        Today at about 4.27pm i got a call on my cell [protected] from your recovery dept phone no [protected], this call lasted for about 16.39 mints and in the whole conversation your recovery agent was abusing me and using all the slang language possible.
                        I do understand that i have some amount to pay and i did not deny for the same. i was making all my best effort to inform your executive that right now I am not in position to pay but i will make at least minimum payment by 5th of October 2009 and before that its highly impossible for me to make any payment. I must have told the same to your executive at least 30 times the same but your executive was not in mood to listen to me and went ahead abusing me and using all the slang language.
                        i do understand that I have to make some repayment to your bank but it does not give any right to you and your executive to use this unprofessional language.
                        This has caused me all the tension and now when I am writing to you before that i have to visit my doc to check my BP. right now I am traveling and staying away from home. Hope nothing goes wrong in hotel room tonight.
                        I request you to please look into this and keep me posted.

                            Since 1st of August , 2009 , all HDFC credit card holders are not able to pay through PayPal , even through Netsafe credit card of HDFC Bank . The credit card people are bluffing , telling different form of lies just to suppress their inablity to resolve the issue . Their Top Bosses are totally silent .

                            I had the same problem, which I did observe after August 20, 2009. When I contacted Paypal, they said, to check with the bank. I had searched in Google and understood that the reason is Verified by Visa enforcement by RBI. I had contacted HDFC Bank, they said, they were in the process of resolving the issue as they had already recieved huge number of compliants, but todate, it's not yet fixed and not all HDFC callcentre representatives know about paypal.com. Basically, they still think it as just another merchant website instead o[censored]nderstanding it's role as an international and multi-currency processing Online Payment Processor. This problem has to be solved quickly and awareness is created well in the form of better training to call centre representatives and bank officials as well so they will try to understand the actual problem of the customers instead of replying with something they understand with purely authentic information that can keep the confidence of the customer.

                            NOTE: I read in google which shows different websites discussing this same problem, I found this website while I am searching for any other possible solution that we may be availed to fulfill our online payments which are lagging behind in the schedule, thank you.

                            You are right.HDfC generous in sending generic mail and is not bothered about solving customers problem
                            HDFC sucks, I tried to contact them regarding the same issue, but nothing has been done yet. I am getting an AMEX card soon and will stop using HDFC from now because of its incompatibility with paypal.
                            Had the same problem...used hdfc netsafe vcc for paypal payment and it worked!!!
                            HDFC hasnt got a clue as to whats going on. They keep refusing to accept transactions from paypal. I used netsafe to make my first purchase it worked, but then paypal asked me to confirm my bank account ... thats fine too. now that the bank account is confirmed, paypal asked me to confirm my credit card... I used a netsafe card to make the payment that paypal had requested ... but now that paypal is supposed to make a deposit on the same credit card to verify it, I dont know how that's gonna work
                            sure HDFC sucks, but so does paypal. Any ideas if its the same with ICICI was thinking of changing my bank because of this issue not to mention that the shut early and have bad customer service too

                              I had a bad experience with HDFC DSA from Pune. The name of the agency is Ascent Enterprises the contact person is Mr. Rahul Newar and he did take all the necessary details from me and for about 10 days he did not give me the status neither did he pick up my call.

                              Finally after 100s of time try he picked up the phone but was too arogant to talk. According to him he is not getting anything out of this deal so why should he waste his time for the same. I could sense that he was looking for some extra money from me.

                              I have a question does HDFC not give its DSA commission if yes then why this demand.

                              i am very upset with this. Can HDFC look into the matter?

                                Sir/Madam,

                                This is a complaint against HDFC Bank and HDFC Credit Card division. 5 years ago HDFC Bank issued a Credit Card (No: [protected]) to me with a credit limit of Rs. 8000.00. After couple of years I was unable to pay the amount due to financial issues in my family. HDFC bank goons started calling me and harassing me over the phone using abusive language. This made me change my phone number. In some month’s time I was able to arrange the money to pay back, and called HDFC Cards division, however with many tries I was unable to contact the right person or department to pay back. I tried this couple of times however in vain.

                                This year I joined a company that has a HDFC Bank Account. My Salary account (No: [protected]) was opened in Basaveswaranagar Branch. I got my first salary of Rs. 34332.00 in the month of June 2009 from this company. As soon as the money was credited in my account HDFC bank put it on hold without any communication to me or any permission from my side. When contacted they were very rude to reply and did not get any communication. When my company contacted HDFC and wrote a letter, they informed it was because of my credit card. In few days I received a letter from a solicitor of HDFC telling me that my money is being taken because I had not paid my dues. I tried contacting HDFC bank asking them to go for a settlement of the issue. However no one called me or tried to settle this issue. In few days my complete Salary of Rs 34332.00 was debited from my account without informing me, which is 4.5 times more than my credit limit on the credit card of Rs 8000.00. As my family is heavily dependent on my salary to run my house and make ends meet. I went through lots of trauma in the last 2 months because of the financial crunch and could not pay my monthly bills.

                                I request you to please look into the issue and demand my money to be returned with a compensation for my mental trauma and financial losses incurred.

                                never ever show your Credit Card Number to any one
                                or even put it on a public website like this one.
                                This website does not seems to be a government owned so that they can help you to the next level
                                If it was then why is Google ADs are seen

                                now you should first go to the consumer court first. they are the right one to take action.

                                you don't need to pay any, but go there and register a compliant

                                don't put your hops down. If you don't get any answer then file a RTI this will help you.

                                  Gift Plus card not working

                                  I had given a GiftPlus card to my friend with Rs 5600/- in it.When he tried to swipe it in a merchend outlet 2 weeks after that its showing insufficient funds.Even though he tried lesser amounts like 4000, it showed the same.I tried to contact customer service number but couldnt succeed.I request HDFC bank to look into this issue....

                                  Hi,

                                  I have submitted a form for opening an Online MF Account in July'09 at HDFC Bank, ITPL Branch, WhiteField, Bangalore. The gentleman Chandra Mouli told that it takes 8 working days. Even after 2 weeks, there is no intimation. I had met him 3 times to enquire. Good News by same Gentleman is: form is missing from their secure(?) bank.

                                  I have submitted a new form again in Aug'09, after 2 weeks same story repeated. I have complained online. After one week, Shamelessly, another gentleman(?) Tapas Lenka (Personal Banker) responds: askingto submit the form again (3rd Time!). Also he had a recommendation to approach a Banking Ombudsman!

                                  Is this the service we expect from the people and Bank, which lives on public money? The mail clearly indicates, we donot care for a retail customer like me or an average Indian. Their service quality may be
                                  better for influential few as HDFC is good at promoting themselves in TV advertisements.

                                  For such a silly work: One can Imagine the amount of time spent:

                                  Number of visits to HDFC, ITPL Branch: 5 times

                                      I am having savings account with HDFC Bank's Nana Peth Pune Branch, for that I have ATM card bearing number[protected] Saving Account number [protected].
                                      I have been charged for no transaction been made with your with your shahad ATM( Near Chopda Court Ulhasnagar 421003 Dist Thane)
                                      As there was error in your ATM machine & the amount was not received at all.
                                      I have already submitted the complaint with nearest HDFC Branch, but in the mean time you are requested to kindly correct the same at your earliest to avoid inconvenience caused to me.

                                      HDFC Bank — Debit 5000 Rs. without transaction

                                      This is Satish Kumar, and i m having my saving account in hdfc bank. On 2nd april 2009 i have tried to withdrawal my 5000, which i didn’t get due to some ATM problem and i got a message displayed on the machine "transaction amount unsufficient ".
                                      on the same day i have registered my complained to hdfc customer care, as per their statement i was suppose to get my money back within 48 hours, after 48 hours again i try to inquire about my complained and the same i had to heard that will be back within 48 hours.
                                      since 6, 7 days i am ot getting any kind of response from their side.
                                      when i again inquire about the same i got an answer, on which they said that it will take 11 to 50 days to revert it back.
                                      I have already submit a written application and charge back form to the HDFC bank, but the respones is same and hopeless.

                                      please kindly do something for me. any please revert me back.
