[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Defaulter in CIBIL

Dear Sir
Please find my credit card number XXX.
As per my statement for the month August total outstanding was 618+608+407=1633. Where as the payment due date was 28.08.09. I have given a cheque on 23.08.09 of Rs 1633.00 of Syndicate Bank dated 24.08.09.
Somehow due to the signature difference Syndicate Bank returned that. This was just a human error which can happen with anybody.
I didn't get any information from Bank side that Syndicate Bank has returned the cheque before 5.09.09. Where as my bank has returned the cheque on 25.08.09.
I am unable to understand that when they are sending me the monthly statement on net why you don’t provided me this information on net so I can make the payment on time.
Instead of all this when I talked on call center no proper reply was given to me.
I was going to deposit the amount to HDFC bank towards my outstanding but same time I received a call from call center Jaipur as well as Jodhpur branch/Recovery Agents that “ Our agent is coming to you please give that amount to him”. Several of times I got such phone calls but nobody approached me.
In the month of September I talked again at call center and they guided me to deposit Rs 5500.00 because they told me that they are sending the request for late fee reversal. Just after that I cleared my total outstanding Rs 5500.00 except then late fees which was Rs 444.00 because I was continue in touch with your call center for the reversal of that late fee. But I didn’t get any call from bank side. Instead of the reversal, month after month late fee has been charged.
Again when I call to call center they told late fee reversal is not possible but till that time several late fee has been charged and I was unable to know what to do.
Later I got the statement in which they mentioned that they have suspended my card.
Please guide me what was my fault in this matter, why should I loose my credibility in bank when I have given the cheque 5 days earlier of Rs 1633.00 and 3 days earlier of Rs 5500.00
I talked at call center regarding that thing on 2nd April 10 which request number is [protected] at 13.43pm. They informed me that your person from Head office will call me regarding this issue within next 7 working days after checking all the data but till date I don't received any call from bank side.
Now because of this matter bank has made me defaulter and therefor that has worsen my CBILL.
Please guide me what to do.
