[Resolved] Hindustan Times, Mumbai — Non-delivery of Hindustan Times despite 2 years annual subscription.

Ref.: Form No.275303 under Scheme Rs.195 for 2 years. Cheque No.415671 dt. 13.1.08 for Rs.195.00. [protected][protected][protected][protected] Dear Sir/Madam, With reference to the above subject, Hindustan Times, stopped issuing newspaper at the above address since March 2009 by the Vendor. The HT staff is quite unco-operative in solving the issue and there is great nexus between Circulation Dept. staff and vendor and they are not ready and willing to solve this issue despite several attempt and follow up. Kindly direct the HT media Mumbai to put the newspaper for the remaining one year and also pass necessary compensation for the agony I have had face due to the mishandling by the staff. Please find attachments herewith copy of subscription voucher receipt andother details for your kind reference. Your favourable quick action in this regard is highly obliged. Hi,

I have started an subscription of HT under scheme Rs.199 /- yearly in Aug - 10 & vendor Mr.Rajesh Vagh (wagle estate) is denying to deliver at home, as before starting he has committed us that he will deliver us at home with paying any extra cost.

Also note he is delivering newspaper on 1st floor & even on same bldg i m staying at 3rd floor

After several commitments on daily he has promised that he will start but still not received any positive response.

kindly look into matter & start the same at home delivery without any extra cost.

I too have subscribed for ht 4 months back, my cheque has been cleared .my news paper has been coming to my place but Iam yet to recieve my coupons and my vendor is after me to either pay for the papers delivered or produce the coupons, I have been constantly calling on 67764242 but the phone keeps getting disconected, Iam totally frustrated and dont know what to do ?
please make arrangements to send me the coupons as soon as possible.

I have given the cheque 2 months back still the coupons are yet to recieve. 15 days back your employee came to my house and had came for verification about the re- subscription done or not.I told him to launch the complaint that still the coupons are not been recieved.I had called on 67764242 launched the complain as well but still their is no result.I think if this would be the case then u might be loosing Customer faith.

I would like to bring out to the notice that I paid for 1 year subscription through cheque on 28th of Feb 2011 through HT executive who promised that coupons will be delivered in weeks time and newspaper will be delivered before 8 am regularly. Though last year also there was complaint registered by me for non delivery/ late delivery of newspaper, I subscribed to this paper just because I was reassured of a good customer service, however till date I haven't even received coupons. On complaining assurance is given time and again but nothing improves at ground level.May I request the concerned authorities to kindly do the needful please.

I have subscribed for yearly subscription of HT in july 2011 and so far my coupons have not been send to me. I really had bad experience with your HT support. Kindly take a strong step in this regard.

I paid rs 21 through cheque no 048243 ( sundarlal sawji urban co op bank ltd )
My collegue has got dialy paper delevery but not to me ( but we applied at same plave same time)

I am contacting Hindustan Times via e-mail & phone but no positive response from them.
HT person claims that they have tried twice for delivering HT coupons.But, It is surprising to know that HT courier service personal are not able to track my address whereas other courier service providers can deliver telephone, electricity bill & other personal documents at my residence without any problem !!
Even I have send them location Map of my residence.
Waiting for 2nd year subscription.

I paid for 2 year Hindustan Times Subscription through cheque No. 139261 for Rs. 199.00 drawn on PNB and debited to my account on 8-Nov-11.Till this date I have not received the said coupons. Newspaper vendor has informed me that I will have to pay him for all the newspapers he has delivered. In that case I may be left with only recourse of going to consumer court. I tried to contact umpteen times at these two numbers[protected] & [protected] Mr. Ankush Mute) but without any success. The phones are disconnected, the moment I speak about non receipt of subscription coupons. May I expect the concerned authorities to do the needful at the earliest without any further delay.

Vendor asking for extra service charge

Today I had to submit the coupons for newspaper. Vendor told me to pay extra service charge i.e of ₹280. I just want to know is that valid. And the vendor SHIV KUMAR SHARMA was very rude.
Kindly see to it and make sure you take an action against him.
