[Resolved]  Hitachi India — Worst possible after sales service - Hitachi : Air Dale Enterprises, 45A Khan Market, New Delhi.

Hi,

We (a group of families) bought a couple of hitachi window AC s last year (March 2007) from
Air Dale Enterprises, 45A Khan Market, New Delhi.

And till date we haven't received any service from Hitachi and/or Air Dale even after repeated request over past 6 months or so.
We have been contacting Mr. Rajan Arora – [protected] and now he has stopped responding to the calls.

Is this the kind of customer service Hitachi believes in ?
Does anyone has any idea what do we need to do to get service from Hitachi.

Do we need to take a legal route (Consumer court).

Hi,

We (a group of families) bought a couple of hitachi window AC s last year (March 2009) from local dealer at Rourkela.

We have been contacting at local dealer and the local service man of Hitachi Mr. Aslam [protected] and now he has stopped responding to the calls.

Is this the kind of customer service Hitachi believes in ?
Does anyone has any idea what do we need to do to get service from Hitachi.

Do we need to take a legal route (Consumer court).

I have been experiencing such a high level of dis-satisfactory response from one of the so called best brands (HITACHI) available in the market. They provide such a poor service. The people at customer care center do not have manners to talk to their customers. They make sweeping statements with false and exaggerated commitments which they rarely fulfill on time. Not just this much, the people sitting at the service station are illiterate and they do not have the etiquettes to listen up to the customer's problem. Nor do they feel the responsibility to pick up the phone and reply back to the customers. Highly poor service, third grade quality, low customer attention are some of the best qualities of this cheap brand. Will never recommend anyone to go for this brand. And will make it a point that I get a story covered on hitachi by many of the prestigious media organisations so that nation comes to know about the bad deeds of the brand.
I fully agree with the other complainants. I just bought a new Hitachi AC. when it was opened its grill was broken. the complaint was lodged immediately. after couple of days there employee brought a refurbished grill with a horrible finish. When we asked him to bring a new one, he said that i am going on leave and you can talk to the company. Till date the grill has not been replaced. Customer care numbers are not reachable and there is no response from the company.

A CAUTIOUS ADVICE TO ALLTHE PEOPLE THAT NOT TO BUY HITACHI PRODUCTS
You are damn right bhuvan, seems that we all will have to follow this route.I bought a window ac in july, 2010 from Electronics World, Phase 4, gurgaon and when I called him I was asked to contact customer care -- Mr Sharma sounded very helpless and wanted to get over with that phone call asap.

Hitachi Customer Care ofcourse the worst in the universe - Slurr on the BRAND name.They treat u like animals and say and talk to u like they don care.
I think it is the same in all India.After sales service is worst.Very disappointing..
I had lodged a complaint of “no cooling” of my Air conditioner on 1st May, 2011.The service request number is [protected]. At that it was committed that the complaint will be attended by our engineer within 48 hours. As of now five days has been passed but no one turned up or even called for attending the call. For the past three days I am continuously calling at call centre numbers but no respite. No one has the visibility about the status of complaint, every time executive ensures that the same will get attended within two hour or so but after seven days status is same. They have informed me that call has been allocated to the engineer named Sunil. They had also provided me the numbers of Patparganj Service centre but after my repeated tries I am unable to speak at service centre as no one is picking up the phone. It is first time I had purchased any Item of Hitachi and I was very satisfied till date with the product. But I am very disappointed with the after sales services.
I too have faced such trouble from Hitachi and am still facing it. I bought a Hitachi AC on the 1st of may. After 2 days i was told that i have to register a request for installation on my own. I registered a request on the 4th of may, and i too was told that the AC would be installed in 48-72hrs. But its been 7 days now, and still no response. even after repeated calls. All the executives have to say the same thing that i have forwarded your request, and I can't do anything beyond this.
I was given the service center numbers, but nobody answers the phone.
I am very disappointed with Hitachi, even without using the product.
No use spending extra on such a brand, as compared to other cheaper brands, when you cant even use the product for so long!!

I have never seen such a bad after sales service. I had purchased two split AC in Feb 2011. Unfortunately both are not working. My complaint is pending since 03.05.2011. Even after number of reminder and email there is no response. Will somebody tell me what to do?

My case is also similar to the guys above. I also purchased the 2 Ton Window AC form Sachdeva Electrovion, Pitam Pura in 2009. Last yr it was working fine so I made the AMC for Rs1950 for this yr. But nw AC is not cooling. My complaint is pending from 27th of April and no bugger is ready to come and attend. Every time they have new excuses but not doing anything.

Can anybody suggest me that what legal action we can take against them through consumer court or...

The worst ever after sales service.
I am also facing the same issue.Can any one suggest a way out . I just want to get my Hitachi AC serviced .

Beware of worst services, un professional attitude of customer caree representatives and worst response of dealers.It happens with 99 out of 100 customers who prefers Hitachi product. Although the products are good; after sales services are not only poor; it is almost impossible to get even response from the company. If you have purchased your product from Delhi or Chennai; you have no other option than to contact the customer care of Ahmedabad.
We have purchased Hitachi make window A/c from the dealer M/s Modern Systems in Dwarka Sector 10 and when we approached the dealer regarding service; the simple answer of the dealer was that he could not help as the response of Hitachi is worst and suggested us for not purchasing any Hitachi product in future. The service request was registered by us to their ahmedabad office on 7th May 2011 and till date no body bothered to attend the same. Really amazing!
Now we have no option than to go for consumer court

Beware of the worst product with worst management of Hitachi. They are simply enjoying their lfe by selling their product to you and laughing on you as again you have become a good MURGAA. Donot expect any service from them. if you have a problem with product; simply throw it out as you will never get any response/service from those hanky ponky managers/technicians

A Poor ill trated Hitachi customer
I had purchased one 1.2T AC last summer from Vijaya sales. The day, hitachi engineer installed the machin, I found some defect in the functioning. I complained but it remained unattended. When I asked Vijaya sales, they do not take the rsponsibility of after sales service.This is one of the worst after sales service i have ever seen. I am struggling for last one year to get the complaint attended.They came once and did some minor service and the main problem remains unattended. I had booked the trouble ticket and it is of no use. I would recommend not to use this product.

I purchased a HITACHI refrigerator 6 months back. Never got a demo from the company guys. The company person did the installation which was done wrong due to which the door handels and the inside door seals were damaged. I have called and complained the customer care no. several times, they alwasy commit resolution in 48 hours but nobody turns up. HITACHI's after sales is worst ever in INDIA. They have ugly english speaking call centre executives answering our call, not understanding the issue and just committing resolution in specific time just for the heck of their job. HITACHI "YOU SUCK"
i purchase one split ac vide ivoice no 71-dpro5 11siao 182 dt. 12-05-11 from vijay sales pitam pura, delhi. since its insttlaion by company incompetant engrs. it is not working now i am running from pillar to post, may god of hitachi HELP.

I have bought one Window AC, Quadricool model in 2008 and in the last year in Aug, 2010 there is no cooling n it was informed that there is gas leakage. The same was refilled. Now this year too, its pathetic n there is no cooling. It is informed that the cooling coil is gone n want replacement. When argued, it is told that they have to order for the coil at Ahmedabad n will take one month to get ur AC repaired. Is this the quality of product n service Hitachi is providing to the customer? wat to do under such extreme hot weather n how to rely on such product n service...Ashish, Mayur vihar, Delhi
I have had a similar experience. I had bought a Quadricool A/c last year and it had some problems wherein it was not cooling at all. The technician came to my house after 8 days of the compalint being logged onto the customer service number after repeated calls on a daily basis . He could not even open the front Grill of the A/C and told me that the compressor has to be changed and that I have to pay him INR 330 +2380+330 for the same and the same will be returned back in one day. Today is day 5 and after my repeated calls to the service station and one Mr. Patel in Hitachi Gurgaon (A man who is not fit to be in customer service) was promised the A.c will be fixed back today i, e July 14th b4 2pm. They are only worried about INR 2000 odd which has to be paid for service thats all... I think i made the biggest mistake by buying a Hitachi product.

THE SERVICE AND PEOPLE SUCK. HOPE SOMEBODY CAN LOOK INTO THIS AND REVERT
