[Resolved]  Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India PVT Ltd — Abnormal delay in serving due to unavailable of spare parts

Honourable sir, I purchased a Honda DIO (model code- SCV110FD) from Anmol Motors (Divine Honda) on 04/03/2013 for my son Pankaj Chakrabarty. The frame no is - ME4JF39 2BD8009053, engine no is- JF39E80008922. After some days all on a sudden on 8/05/2013 the scooter had a problem. It was not started . My son tried to start it but the engine did not start. I informed the dealer Divine Honda from whom it was purchased. Their mechanic came to my house and tried to repair something but failed. The he called their expert ( most probably automobile engineer) . He came and tried but failed and said that there was some manufacturing problem for which the wiring was burned . He said that the scooter should be taken to service centre for repairing. I agreed and it was taken to their service centre on 09/05/2013. After that when ever I contact the service centre they say that the parts are not available and they have requested the company for the spare parts. From 9/5/13 to today 30/05/2013 total 21 days have passed still they are saying that company has not sent the parts.
Your honour, I purchased the scooter for my son's conveyance purposes . But it is seen that the company is not at all bothered about our problem. If a company can not repair a scooter even after 21 days due to unavailability of parts why the have sold the scooters in the market. If they are unable to provide services after sale(mine is within the warranty period) they should not sell the same.

My appeal is that please help me in getting the justice. Otherwise I don't know how many days my scooter will be lying at the service centre. Only your action will help me in getting the problem solved.

Honda Scooters & motorcycle — Service & modifications

Dear Sir,
I owned a Eterno Scooter.I always get it serviced from my dealer M/S V.J.Honda.
My registration No.is MH05-AC 4058.
1) The drain plug for the Engine Oil had been two times rethreaded because of carelessness.My question is that why Thread inserts are not provided on the Engine casing as ithe casing is made of Aluminium Alloy?
2) My handle is Vibrating or wabbling,The cause i could not find out.Answer which I have recieved from your Dealer is very absurd.This causes constant load on my Left hand and resulted in to Lumber Spondelities.
3) inspite of continuous maintainance i am not getting avarage satisfactory.
Kindly note that my daily running is 60 KMS on highway i.e.daily Return between Thane & Dombivli.
4) Company has stopped the manufacturing of Eterno within 5 years ,we have purchase the scooter as the name of manufacturer is HONDA.what will be the future of our scooter.As the manufacturing is stopped there will be no trained persons for perticulerly Eterno.
Can you modified the scooter with two shock absorbers at rear side.If it is possible is it possible to get assistance from your organization?

From very starting day we are observing that scooter is always pulling at one side.This is not only my experience but many owners are having same experience,we want your help.

Honda — unavailable parts

I had done a big mistake of my life by purchasing the honda bike from last 3 months i am finding the few parts of CB Twister bike like (wiser ,meter and garnish) but still not got it .i had got fatup by calling in agencies they saying that it is not being supplied by haryana itself kindly take some action against it.

motorcycle spare parts — perts not provided

on 7/5/11, I visited the showroom cum service center situated at rithala of metro motors hero honda authorized dealer for obtaining spare parts I.E. Clutch and brake lever and a side mirror for my M/C cbz make, purchased from the same showroom. But the manager present there stated that he would not provide the spare parts as this is against our company policy and we donot provide spare parts to customer who donot get the repair work done from our showroom. Only if you get the repair done from this place only then we will provide the spare parts otherwise not. Thereafter I asked him to provide that policy document which bar them to provide the spare parts to outside customers but he stated he donot have the policy document and you can visit again to obtain the policy document and now I can not provide you the document or the spare part.Further he stated that where ever you want to complain about this you can but you will not get the spare part. 2-3 days earlier I also visited the showroom but the manager present there has stated that today the showroom is closed and you may visit other day. I also informed him about my requirement.

It is hereby requested to please help me out as I can myself change those parts without any special requirements then why I pay the labour charges to the company to get the work done. This is just their own dictatorship as after the sales a consumer had to hover around here and there to get the spare parts for the M/C . It is requested to please look into matter and apprise me of the same as lots of person are getting harassed bcoz of such behaviour of the company'

Honda Unicorn bike with authorized dealer EVM Honda since over a month for want of spare parts, which are not available from the factory, I am told. No response from Honda India for repeated mails. Please advise me on further action/legal remedies

honda motorcycles — Unavailability of spares

Sir ive been waiting for a swingarm for my Honda Unicorn from past 1 and a half months Each time they tell me that it will cme next week and that the shipment hasnt yet arived it is on its way etc etc My bike is lying useless from so much time coz of that 1 part

Therefore I like to withdraw my complain dated 30/05/203
