[Resolved] Housefull Furniture — Cheated by housefull furniture | |||
Till date (4th oct 2012) I must have made atleast 20 calls and sent at least 5-6 e-mails to housefull furniture over a period of one month but my complaint has still not been resolved. Each time a new person from housefull sends me a holding mail when I complain but there has been no action yet. I called up the complaint cell yesterday and I was surprised by the nonchalant attitude displayed by the executive who took my call. In spite of telling her that I have lost my father due to which we are not staying at the address provided to housefull, she was least bothered. I am listing down the major sequence of events that have occurred so far: * 7th sept - I placed the order with housefull and paid the money for 2 products (a centre table and bench). I received a confirmation call from housefull that the goods will be delivered within 7 days. * 17th sept - I called up the customer care to find out why I have not received the goods even after 10 days. I was promised that the goods will be delivered on 20th sept. * 23rd sept - on 21st sept I lost my father, I and my mom had to leave the house (because of certain rituals) for 4 months. I called up customer care and even sent an e-mail on 23rd sept requesting for the goods to be delivered immediately. Hanish menon from housefull confirmed that the goods will be delivered within 24 hours ie by 24th sept. I waited for the entire day but there was no news from their side. I sent another e-mail in the evening to let them know that I will be leaving the house the same night and will be back only after 4 months but there was no reply at all. * 28th sept - since I received no reply at all from housefull even after 21 days of placing the order, I sent another e-mail informing them that though the goods have not been delivered, I received a sms from housefull that the goods have been delivered. How could this be possible when there was no one at home. I provided my account details and requested for a refund. * 3rd oct - as there was no action from their side still, I had to send another follow up e-mail and I also called up the complaint cell. I explained the situation to the executive that I cannot take the delivery of goods now as there is no one at the house and there is no other person in mumbai who can keep the goods at his/ Her house for 4 months while I am away. Therefore I need a refund of my money. But the executive nonchalantly informed me that as per the company policy no refund can be given. I asked the executive to transfer the call to somebody senior but she refused saying all are busy, while I could hear somebody prompting her from behind. It is such a shame that at this sad time when I am mourning for my father, I need to chase these guys. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted with my experience with housefull furniture. Even after almost a month I haven't yet received the products wherein I was promised delivery within 7 days. When the company cannot fulfil its promises, why should I - the customer suffer for it. I don't need their products anymore (even if I want to I can't take it now as I'M not at the house for 4 months). I need some guidance on what action should be taken against these frauds. While I bought some furniture from Housefull I had prepared by mind for some delay in the delivery as it was a bulk order. But to my surprise everything was delivered and assembled on time without any hitch. I appreciate Housefull for their services.
