[Resolved]  HP Compaq Laptop — avoiding free gift redemption

I have purchased a compaq laptop model V3604 TU on 30.11.07. With the purchase a free gift of cordless headphone was to be supplied. For the gift the registration was required to be done on hp promotion website. I did the registration part and got the confirmation on my mail that the headphone will be supplied on sending some documents and a demend draft of Rs. 800/-. I had sent all the required documents and the draft of Rs.800 in the second week of december. A redemption code was also given to me on the same mail to claim the gift. Now they have returned my draft with a letter which says that quote"we would like to inform you that we have received the hard copies of claim for the free gift offer on purchase of HP pavillion/compaq presario notebook. This is to confirm that we are unable to process your claim due to the reason mentioned below.Your claim documents are being returned to you along with this letter. Amount is wrong Rs 600/= received only." Although they have returned my draft and still say that they have received Rs.600/= only but they will not process my claim and not send my gift. On enquiry over telephone they say that what was written in the mail sent by them is irrelevant. now they will not send me the free gift. Instead they will give me a different gift which they have not disclosed in the letter and for which i have to send a different draft of Rs.600/-. All these information has been verbal only . They will not intimate this change in status in writting. It seems that HP compaq people are doing only fraud not intending to give the free gift. If they cannot provide the free gift they should shamelessly accept this . They are only cheating the customers. Kindly take up the matter with the concerned company

this is very irresponsible & shameful on the part of co.
when a customer pays for a thing, he does that b coz believes in a co.
but this kind of act makes the customer dissatisfies with the working of the co.
sir, I have purchased compaq laptop from m/s Rassi computers Ferozepur, punjab, india six months ago. But after 2 months window of laptop corrupt again and again. But my friend told me that widow of laptop start o.k. simply by pressing F11, but the dealer disturbed all system of your computer. Now what should i do for the smoothly working of my laptop. the information of laptop is as follows:

This a serious complaint against Solutions Integrated Marketing Services Pvt Ltd as they had debited the handling charges of INR 1299 but had not delivered the KODAK camera (Kodak Easy Share C913 Camera) yet which was a gift against the purchase of my laptop. I had bought this laptop in Jan 09, submitted by Claim in first week of Feb'09, The cheque was cleared in Apr'09.
After tracking them through mail, their revert was non submission of original bar code. This observation was made in Aug'09. This is totally impossible for anyone to track what was submitted 6 month back.

I therefore request you to kindly help me out. I have attached my details also a picture of original Invoice and Barcode at the back of my laptop. Please help me in getting the camera although is 10 month old now.

I have purchased a Compaq Presari AMD Athelon Computer (Model No. SR1330IL) from Log -in Computers, Rana Partap Marg, Lucknow in 2005. My computer had developed a problem of being stopped and given straight lines on the screen. I approached to your Service Center at Lucknow, Redington India Ltd. (Authorized Service Centre for Compaq computer), 18, Madan Mohan Malviya Marg, Lucknow and they told me that problem lies with Mother Board. they exchanged the Mother Board with a Charge of Rs. 3912 (Invoice No.-LKW09335). These day, I am residing at Amritsar and I had to carry my computer for servicing at Lucknow Service Center by Train in 12 th March, 2009. Now, the computer is facing the same problem and I am feeling "duped". As, the Service Centre had taken my functional Mother Board and also charged me for new Mother Board. at present my computer is facing the same problem.

Kindly guide me for future course of action.

compaq cq 40-108 TU — Poor service

My complain is to the management of the company how they are handling the services, my complaint no. is[protected] ref to it I had handed the laptop to them on 23/10/09 which they delivered the same to their service centre in jabalpur (M.P) on 28/10/09 .
Time taken by courier service is maximum next day then why 5 days taken for the same.Now when they make a despatch five more days will it rome for final dilevery.
Now till to date my laptop is not repaired by your centre the say some parts is coming when it will reach to us ,we replace the same and send back to you.
So see how in todays fast working system how the compaq people are working .

Compaq laptop — cheating in post warranty

I had purchase a post warranty for my notepad on 24th nov 2008 from RT Outsourcing, okhala ph-1, new Delhi. Ihe manual receipt i got from them is showing 24th nov 2008 as purchase date n 24th nov 2009 as expiry date. But the certificate i received on my mail is showing 22nd oct 2008 as purchase date and 21st oct 2009 as expiry date. Soon i contact them for this miss match but they said don’t worry sir just ignore that mail certificate... we will follow the manual receipt.
But when on 9th nov 2009 i went to summit my notepad bcoz of sum tech problem. They said its out of warranty. you will be charged for this.

I was shocked… How they can do this to me....???

HP — Doing fraud in Gift redemption

I have purchased the hp LAPTOP from the hp dealer with the assurance that after filling some requirements procedure i.e. {sending the draft of rs.1299/- in favor of integrated solutions pvt ltd, nehru place, new delhi along with the photocopy of the original bill/original sticker of the product serial no and redemption code} you may get the hp promotion gift.

But since long and i havnt get my dd as well as gift.
inspite giving 3 reminder on their mail [protected]@solutions-intg.com. they are not reverting.

I just want that either they should give my gift or return the laptop.

Im agree as i faced same condition no one frm customer care pick the phone up whenever we need any help after sale is almost Nill as i experienced...
I purchased a Laptop with offer of Wall mountable videocon 22" LCD TV @ INR9000. But when I received the TV the model is not as offered. It is a low value non-wall mountable, obselete one with market value less than INR 9000. It is my advice not to go for any gift claims from HP. Its just waste of money.

Compaq laptop — poor service

had a lcd problem.gave for servicing within warranty period. they have replaced the lcd with a much old, used poor quality lcd. when again i issued a complain (no [protected]) they kept my laptop for more then 2 weeks and ultimwtely when returned saying the hav given this time a new/better lcd, i found out it was the same bad lcd. now i am fade up with these ! can pledge that will never buy or suggest any friend to buy hp or compac devices.
when i start my laptop cq40 at that time display screen vibrate for 10 minutes.Please tell me what is problem.
