i am jaydeep vyas, i have Compaq laptop (v6107tu), i purchased since 2 year ago, at that time it working well, but after 1 year, in my laptop mother board was not functioning. then after i repaired my laptop and, now a days i facing a problem with my laptop, my laptop is hang so it not start, i try install windows xp but it not start, so please give me solution,

i am reseller i am purchases the Compaq presario c772 lap top on 10 may for resealing purpose
lot of time i am visit local service center contact with email, or letter, fax, but no one help me
i am also calling to mr. mofirest hit he is asm of hp service no is[protected] but he is not response me
now i am filing a legal action against the hp com.
or hole channel which is in marking or selling or providing service

Compaq — Laptop stopped working

My COMPAQ Laptop (700 Series) has sudenly stopped working and gives following message

Compaq — speakers not working

one of the speakers is not working for nearly 2 months

I had a similar issue and realized that it was sort of a loose contact. I was able to solve it by putting the headphone jack only partially and pulling it out. When the jack was in partially, I could hear sound from both the speakers and the headphone at the same time. Then I removed the headphone jack and the speakers started working.

When things work properly, removing headphone jack should be activating speakers mechanically. That mechanism seems to be buggy.
