[Resolved]  HP - Compaq — Manufacturing defect in the COMPAQ 510 LAPTOP

I purchased a COMPAQ 510 LAPTOP from distributor-M/s. LAPTOP WORLD[protected] at wazirpur industrial area on 16/5/10 vide invoice no. VNS/LWR1123/10-11 bearing sl.no. SCNV0095ZGL WL671PA#ACJ for an amount of Rs.26,190.48+applicable taxes. Same day, I purchased a photon datacard of M/s. TataIndicom to make use of the internet on the LAPTOP. The indicom engineer after making all out efforts to install the photon USB Card informed me that there is some issue with the LAPTOP and this requires assistance from the manufacturer as this had hardware conflicts/OS issues. I visited the shop on 18/5/2010 from there I was directed to HP service centre at Pitam Pura and even they were not able to resolve the issue and I was further directed to another HP Service centre at Kirti Nagar[protected]. The Pitam Pura Centre told me that it is a 5 minute issue and this will be done hand to hand. The kirti Nagar centre deposited the laptop with them vide their Token No. L-37/KN5201/02 dt. 19/5/2010. On enquiry I have been informed by the kirti nagar centre that this may take 5 to 10 days and the company will not entertain replacement or refund of the cost of the complainant. Sir, my hard earned money (Rs.27,500/-) is blocked with the HP-compaq for their faulty product and the company is simply washing their hands and the complainant is being cheated and fooled by the company. My humble request is that: either my lap top with installation of photon data card is given to my by 24/5/10 or my entire money be refunded by the compaq. I have already wasted my 5 precious days and more than Rs.1,000/- petrol in chasing these people beside the agony and sufferring I have been subjected to. Kindly look into and help. I simply want a- working laptop by 24/5/10 or refund of my money. Thanks and Regards

COMPAQ/HP — laptop manufacturing defect

I was using the compaq laptop v6211au series for the last one and half years . i had battery problems from 9 months onward as it was not staying for more than half hr which gradually diminshed to 5 to 10 mts also i had some problems with the display occasionally .then only i came to know that this series laptops has motherboard problems so itook it to an authorised hp centre on 21/05/2009.they recieved it and later informed me that it was okay and told me it is due to harddisc problem.but i was sure that i had no symtoms related to harddisc earlier so i went there to see it and to my dismay my laptop which was working earlier was not at all working now. so when i asked them to check the wifi which will not work in motherboard complaints they agreed that it has a mother board complaint and told me that they willl replace it. but till today i had not recieved it . i wish that i will alleast get my laptop in the old condition

I have purchased Compaque presario laptop V3225 AMD Turion Sl.No.2CE7180WHS[protected] in india ( Belagum City) dealer Compu Aid invoice No 1749 date 18/6/2007 i am facing problems for this laptop and once i have given replacement of circuit in your kolhapur service station Service tag no In 02986940 req ID 17622391 Sapre part No 447905 on 10/11/08 and i am facing such problems and i have heard from market and your service station that this particulars series having lot of problems. it is manufacture defect. since i am request you please replace my laptop with new one intel processor. i trust compaq and Hp and hence i have taken but due to technical problems form your laptop i fell very bad since replace this laptop immediately. i hope you will given response immediately.

HP — MISGUIDING THE CUSTOMER AND FOOLING THEM

TO WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERNED.

I FACED A PROBLEM OF 6 PART DISPLAY IN MY HP NOTEBOOK, MODEL NO-DV-2601-TX, I WENT TO THE HP SERVICE CENTRE, RT OUTSOURCING, KIRTI NAGAR CENTRE, NEW DELHI.

I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN MOTHERBOARD AND IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I WAS GIVEN A PRICE RS.9000.00 FOR THE MOTHERBOARD AND CONFIRMED THAT IT WILL BE DONE, BUT NO MODEL NUMBER WAS TOLD TO ME, NOTHING MORE WAS EXPLAINED TO ME APART THE PRICE. I AGREED TO THE PRICE AND SUBMITTED THE NOTENOOK TO THEM.

LATER ON RECEIVING MY NOTEBOOK BACK AFTER 15-20 DAYS, I STARTED FACING SOME MORE ISSUES WITH THE NOTEBOOK, FOR THAT I DID THE FACTORY SETTINGS, STILL THE PROBLEM REMAINED, AND I FOUND THAT, THE MOTHERBOARD WHICH WAS TO BE CHANGED i.e. MODEL NO 716, WAS NOT INSTALLED AND THE ALTERNATE OF IT i.e. MODEL NO 715 WAS INSTALLED, TO SAVE THE PRICE COST. I WAS UNAWARE ABOUT IT, AS I WAS NOTHING TOLD BY THE EXECUTIVES AT THE CENTRE, WHILE SUBMITTING THE MACHINE.

NOW, ON ASKING THEM WHY YOU DIDN'T TOOK MY CONSENT BEFORE DOING ALL THIS BLUNDER, THEY ARE ARGUING WITH ME.AND SAYING THAT I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA MORE FOR THE 716 MODEL.

I bought a Compaq Presario CQ40-327TU Laptop on 11th March 2009 from MicroCare Computer Resources - Visakhapatnam for Rs.36, 534/- vide s/n:CND9072DRH and p/n:NL050PA#ACJ.Within this year, the so called laptop gave me trouble four times, once with Key Board, 2nd time with Mother Board, 3rd time with Battery charger now with Battery and CD Drive. I am a Development Consultant working with poor, invested money with hard work. During November 2009, mother board did not work and the service people took a lot of time for the repaire. That time I was supposed to go to South Africa with the so mentioned laptop of your great company but had to go without it and left for my international tour. Now a days, it is like a 2nd life partner and without that no work is done effectively. Although my friends suggested other brands but I bought this troubled product (evergreen)from your company. And at the same time, other brands their services are very prompt and they replace the system also. I lost so much time as well as money by using the troubled compaq laptop. With the given facts, how the company can solve the problems like compensating the customer’s time and money? The last date for one year warranty lapses by 11th March, 2010 and please let me know immediately.
